Wakfu is a turn-based tactical MMORPG and a Television Cartoon, under development by Ankama Studio and written in Java. It takes place in the same fantasy world as Dofus, 1000 years later. The game is currently in closed beta testing, and will have a North American beta test on January 31, 2011. Wakfu will have a free to play area with content sampling and an extended, paid subscription area

Wakfu is an odd take on Final Fantasy Tactics, mixed with a Blizzardesque MMO world. I've played the beta, it's pretty badass nice. The colors and girliness of it though, did not keep my attention. Your thoughts? More...
