It's been a long while since Cinderkin fist posted on here that there would be a Voltron game, but now there's a trailer for it.
Voltron is a classic anime, and one that I loved as a kid. I still love it today. I haven't had a chance to see much of the new one on nickleodeon, but I what I did see doesn't hold up to the original. Luckily this game seems to follow the classic series rather than the new one.
I for one can't wait. I love voltron, and this looks like a decent space/ground scrolling shooter with some combat thrown in. The combat will most likely be terrible, but I don't even care. With thrown in cutscenes straight from the classic anime, the only other thing I can hope for is the original narrator. I'm hyped for this game. We can all look forward to it this october on both XBLA and PSN.
Looks like somebody from the first game is back, and wants their revenge.

I think this one is pretty self explanatory.
A while ago I posted a story up on here that said the first Volume of the portal 2 soundtrack was out, and that it was free. Well It still is, but now you can pick up part 2 as well. Part 1 contained 22 songs, and part 2 contains 18. I think that valve is really cool for giving away such an awesome soundtrack for free, and that it's the whole thing. They've already given us 40 songs, and part 3 has yet to arrive. This soundtrack is supremely great too. If you liked the music while you were playing the game it feels just as good driving down the road.
I know we all like free stuff, and I'll keep my eye out for part 3. But for now, download and enjoy part 2.
EDIT: Here's the link. Derp http://www.thinkwithportals.com/music.php?2

Sorry I haven't been very active lately guys. Been busy with my birthday and some other stuff, but to make it up to you I've got a review of Duke Nukem Forever.
Duke Nukem Forever. The game that most of us never thought would see the light of day, has finally been realeased. Was it worth the wait?
Graphics: Let's start here. Duke Nukem Forever has been in development for about 12 years now, and it definitely shows. The graphics in this game are very sub-par compared to the games were used to seeing released nowadays, but I wouldn't say they're terrible. They look like a very early 360 game, or maybe even a late xbox game. They get the job done, but don't be expected to be blown out of the water by any means. There are posters on the wall that are so blurry you can't read them, and Duke's jumping animation when looking in a mirror is laugable. Literally I laugh everytime I see it.
Story: I'm going to tell you right now that if you waited for Duke all these years hoping for an epic story you're going to be very VERY disappointed. Pretty much Aliens came to earth, and duke needs to stop them....again. But this time they've taken all the women, and Duke won't stand for that. And that's the entire story. No plot twists no nothing, that's pretty much about it.
Gameplay: The gameplay to DNF is solid. It's not the best shooter out there, but it's not the worst either. It's your basic run and gun FPS with a regenerative health bar, and big guns. There's even a couple of puzzles thrown in too keep it fresh, but usually just wind up frustrating you, and taking up uneeded time. Having said that though, the gameplay is solid, and it's actually fun. The driving is fun, but only when driving the monster truck. Driving the rc car seems like a chore, and get's old quick mainly because you're confined in doors.
Humor: Everybody loves the duke, and there's a reason for that. The Duke's sense of humor hasn't gone away. I found myself laughing at quite a few of the jokes, and they poke fun at a few MS titles throughout the campaign. Mostly Halo, and GOW. Dukes over the top sense of self-confidence and all of the little things you can interact with in the environment will keep you entertained.
Music: The music in Duke Nukem Forever is good, but it's not winning any awards. The sound effects are all there too, but some of them get repetitive and annoying like dukes jumping grunt, and things like that.Read full story...

Mass effect three has a short gameplay video out showing off some of the Kinect features, and another just showing us how awesome this game will be.
Mass Effect 3 has been much awaited by many fans of the series, and we're finally seeing a little bit of gameplay. Unfortunately they're mostly trying to show off the kinect features, but at least it's not Kinect required, and the features they threw in don't really seem like they'll make gameplay worse. Simple voice commands are okay in my book. (as long as they work)
Here's a more lengthy gameplay video as well. Showing off some great action.
They've also unleashed a slew of screenshots as well.
I haven't played any of the Mass effect games yet, but this definitely makes the series look appealing. Mass Effect 3 is said to be hitting shelves on March 6 2012, and they've already announced a collectors edition.
-Premium metal case featuring commemorative artwork of Commander Shepard
-70-page hardbound art book featuring hundreds of unique and gorgeous illustrations from the BioWare development team plus an exclusive 4x6 lithographic print featuring a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork
-Limited edition Mass Effect comic by Dark Horse Comics, complete with unique cover artwork
-Join the ranks of the N7 with the premium fabric N7 patch
-A full collection of in-game content that can't be found anywhere else!
And it'll be $79.99

Looks like the E3 trailer got leaked early.
his trailer doesn't have any gameplay, but it looks pretty cool. I'm not sure how it's going to play out, but I'm starting to think Left 4 Dead. Four person squad shooter with zombies, but hopefully this one will be better. I'm not the biggest Resident Evil fan, but I definitely enjoy the games, and this one is looking fantastic so far.
Unfortunately the video got set to private, but here's a link to it.

It's not a finished build of the 3DS version, but it's looking pretty good so far. There's also a trailer in here showing off some of the new 3DS exclusive features.
This video shows part of the opening sequence to Snake Eater on the 3DS and the ps2 side by side. It's pretty neat to see how the 3DS version is coming along. A lot of stuff looks better on it, but certain things still look better on the ps2. This isn't a finished version so that might end up changing, but it'll give you an idea of what the finished product will be.
And here's the new 3DS trailer showing off some of the new features for snake eater. The camouflage system seems neat, but I'm really hoping the gyro scope can be turned off.
What do you think? Is this version going to live up to your expectations, or will you just get the remade version on 360? Or maybe even both.

The next entry into the "tales of" series, is Tales of Xillia, and it's looking fantastic.
The first video is nothing but gameplay. It shows walking around cities and other locations, and battle. The fighting styls remains the same, but what is cool is that the main character fights hand to hand. I think that's awesome.
The second trailer is a story trailer, but since I don't speak Japanese I had no idea what was going on. It still looked badass though.
A new fighter has entered the ring of Mortal Kombat
No release date yet, but the trailer looks pretty sweet. It says E3 2011 too so maybe that's when we'll know how much she'll be and when she's coming out.
Video is a little laggy, because I don't know how to embed the original from IGN.

A couple of pre-order bonuses for the new 3D Ocarina of time have surfaced. This is great news, but not if you live in the US
Australia's pre-order bonus is pretty cool. If you pre-order Ocarina of time 3D from EB games you get a working replica of links Ocarina with a music sheet to tell you how to play some songs. That's pretty cool. They're dubbing this the "Ocarina Edition" of the game.
And if that one doesn't strike your curiosity then listen to this. If you pre-order the game in Greece you get not one, not two, not even three, but FIVE pre-order bonuses! That's insane.
You get a LOZ Case for your 3DS, a LOZ keycahain, a hat, an ocarina (from what I've seen not as high of quality as the australian version), and a tin full of Deku tree seeds.
This video has also surfaced, and I'm not sure, but if I had to guess I'd say it's the greek version of the ocarina, it looks pretty cheap, but you do get all of that other stuff. Unfortunately it's not a youtube video so I can't embed it, but check out the link if you're interested.
Now those are pre-order deals. Forget those on disc DLC pre-orders. This is the kinda stuff I'm talking about. Now as far as I know there haven't been any pre-order deals announced for the US which sucks, but I'm keeping my eye out, and will let you know as soon as I hear something about it.

Remember all those pre-order bonus Klassic Kostumes? Now's your chance to get them. If you're willing to pay.
The DLC comes out on June 7th for 400 MS points and $4.99 on the PSN It includes Klassic Kostumes for Ermac, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Mileena, Jade, and Kitana. The DLC also includes the Klassic Fatalitites for Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Reptile.
If you're a huge MK fan then I'd say go ahead and get it it's a good price for all the stuff you get, but if you can live without it try to stay away from supporting this on disc DLC. Plus it comes out on the same day as SSFIV AE so... who's even gonna notice?
What do you guys think? Is it a good price? Are any of you going to get it? Leave your thoughts in the comments, and don't be a Jimmy.

Keeping with the theme of showing off all awesome portal 2 replicas, here are cave johnson's exploding lemons.
They're made from fake lemons from a craft store, but still look really freakin cool if you ask me.
The guy who made them said he rigged it so that Cave johnson's exploding lemon rant goes off after you pull the pin, and that's pretty awesome.

Like the music in portal 2? Like free stuff? Come on in.
According to Valve the portal 2 soundtrack is going to be released in three installments. The first one is here, and they're letting you download if for free. It's
six twenty two amazing songs you'll recognize from the game. That's right 22! That's more than I was expecting on the whole soundtrack. I can't wait for the rest. If you like the sciencey feel of the portal 2 music, and want to re-create the atmosphere of aperture science labs wherever you go, now's your chance.
I'll be sure to keep an eye out for when volume 2 shows up and let you guys know.
