Final Fantasy XIII Cid Raines combat gameplay battle

Final Fantasy XIII is a different game. I am enjoying it. People who have never played Final Fantasy might enjoy XIII also. The gameplay comes down to strategy more than anything else.

As a Final Fantasy fanboy, I'm in love with Final Fantasy XIII. It's a great combination of the aspects from Final Fantasy XII that worked mixed with what worked from the older, turn-based combat. The linearity doesn't bother me at all, nor does the absence of towns. I do wish that somebody in my party had the opportunity to heal me if I get killed, but it's a pretty minor complaint, because once you get used to paying attention, it becomes pretty easy to stay alive. Being able to have a healer in your party without worrying about MP makes it a whole lot easier. So once you get a good strategy for staying alive, it's not a hindering problem.
