Tucson, Arizona shooter Jared Loughner made comments to his web gaming site

Tucson Arizona shooting incident was one of the saddest tragedy in this country. The shooter Jared Loughner has made several aggressive comments on his gaming website. Do you think video games affect peoples mind to be aggressive? Do you think that game messes up gamers mind? I used to live in Japan and I saw some problems about gamers... A gamer was obsessed about pilot similation game. He wanted to try real airplane. This Japanese boy hijacked airplane and kill a pilot and he flew it. I don't remember, he clashed or he made it or not, but he killed a pilot, because he wanted game dream became true.  This is the article that talking about game about Jared Loughner.  Please read it and give me some comments... thank you.

Of course I'm going to say not to blame the games. But I understand. Again, this guy is clearly crazy and has been for a long time. You don't just play Black Ops for a couple of days, freak out and start shooting people in real life. You don't become crazy because of video games.

I'm still waiting for some Sam Fisher type killing sprees or something to happen.

The media sucks and pushes people away from what really happened. The Arizona shooting is a perfect example. Usually the media quikly jumps to the cover of the book. Records show him posting violent stuff on a gaming site and people also say there was a political motive. As a great coincidence we spoke of this in class today. They talked to the Arizona shooters friend. The guy basically told police the dude was crazy, it wasn't the video games or politics like media has ben trying to blow up, he was a all around psycho-dude.

@goukijones- yo....Sam Fisher spree would be beautiful, like yea that would suck and be sad, but pretty badass at the same time.

no like, yea it would be horrible. but something ridiculous straight from a game, such as Splinter Cell performed in real life on a scale such as a spree, especially for a gamer, in the midst of how horrible it is I would honestly be left impressed.

Really it sounds like the kid didn't get enough ass whoopings growing up! I've always used games as a way to release frustration and rage. It's a great venue to do it and the more people involved, the quicker it goes from "a release" to just fun.

Killing people because of a game is stupid. Now walking past a guy in pain on the ground and telling him your out of Medi Gel is plausible.
