By: iorilamia May 30, 2011 | 3 Comments

As you may know Sony announced they were going to put some PSP tittles on PS3, with some improvements including HD graphics. The first announced was Monster Hunter, take a peek at its PS3 look.

In Rei's Story http://gouki.com/Story/Details/remixed-psp-to-ps3-titles-are-coming we got news of Sony remixing PSP only titles to PS3, with updated graphics and other improvements. With the hype around Monster Hunter 3rd being announced as one of those tittles, we get a video of some Japanese celebrities freaking out over the PS3 port. Unfortunately half of this 45 minute video is talking, but the gameplay looks awesome. Enjoy~

(To skip all the talking, skip to 19:00 for character screen and 21:00 for in-game welcomed by a hilarious " WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA")

Daigo "The Beast" Umehara (Yun) was at the 5 on 5 SSF4 AE TOPANGA Japan Relief Charity Event. He was on Team Topanga with Mago (Fei Long), Tokido (Akuma), Bonchan (Sagat), and Nyanshi (Sagat). Check out the last 3 matches of the Finals. Clutch!

Team Topanga had so many good players that Daigo barely played, I didn't even get to see him play until the Finals. So when Shiro (Makoto) dominated the rest of Team Topanga, I was excited to see the Beast come out. With Daigo as the last hope for the team. Watch his amazing clutch play with Yun.

Namco Bandai wants retailers to destroy One Piece 3DS DVDs

By: iorilamia Mar 26, 2011 | 5 Comments

Anything relevant to the Tsunami/ Earthquake in Japan can be effected.

Lots of news of games being delayed or completely canceled due to the Tohuku Earthquake. One game effected was the One Piece Unlimited Cruise for 3DS ; it was delayed. Recent news have surfaced that retailers were also told to destroy the DVDs that had promotional footage for the game.

The reason Namco Bandai wanted this was because of a certain character. Shirohige (above)
can cause Earthquakes, and in the promo video his earthquake....causes a tsunami. The coincidence is a bit much. Even after the order to have the DVDs destroyed , Namco Bandai is still promoting the game and recently released a bunch of screenshots you can view here http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/03/25/one_piece_update/

What do you guys think of all of this? Ofcourse a country would be sensitive after this sort thing, many of games and movies would be altered to keep strong emotions from firing. When would it end though? When Japan is back on its feet?  Or will this be something kept in Japanese culture and history as something that would only be enacted in a memorial, while being kept out of mainstream media. Leave your thoughts below, don't be a jimmy.

President and CEO of Sony US, Jack Tretton is giving you the option to donate from your PS3.

From your PSN Wallet you can make donations as $2, $5, $10, $25 and $50. These donations go directly to the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fund. In order to do this, look for " Aid Japan" in the new release section of PS Store.

Doing so will give you this incredibly cute theme:

It's awesome to say the least.

From the blog-

"Every penny donated will go to the fund, which supports emergency relief and recovery efforts, including deploying personnel, sending relief supplies and providing financial resources."

Many companies are doing donations, ofcourse Sony US is helping out aswell, leave your comments below.
