IGN shows off a trailer at PAX demonstrating and explaining several new game mechanics and changes.
I'm definitely looking forward to this reboot of Counter Strike. I think I'd rather play it on PC though because, if you didn't catch it, console players won't be able to set-up custom games.
Here's the fourth official trailer for Sonic Generations.
This one shows off three levels, Seaside Hill/Ocean Palace from Sonic Heroes, Spagonia from Unleashed, and Chemical Plant Zone from Sonic 2. This one even gives some insight about the story, basically just telling us there's some time travel involved. And apparently future Tails went with Sonic back in time too.
Also, the game comes out Nov 1, 2011 and pre-ordering with Gamestop will give you a downloadable level (Casino Night Pinball Stage), an Xbox dashboard/PSN Home theme, and for Xbox 360 owners, a downloadable avatar item (Super Sonic Costume).
A rumor circulating the net reports that Wal-mart will drop the price of the 3DS three days earlier than expected.
Wal-mart is supposedly going to drop the price of the Nintendo 3DS on August 9th, three days earlier then the official date of August 12th. What this means is that anyone who picks up the system on the 9th through the 11th can get the price reduction and still qualify for the Ambassador's program that Nintendo has announced. Also, if they release an ad or something, you might be able to get a price match at a preferred retailer if you want, basically being able to choose if you want to buy at Best Buy or whereever if you want points for rewards programs.
Here's the source. All the guy says is that he has a trusted source, but apparently he's held in high regard by his peers.
I honestly hope that it is either false, or if it is true, Nintendo does something about it. I know it's not very "bro-status" of me to think like this but I paid full price on day 1 and I don't like the idea of all these people getting two bonuses instead of the one bonus that all the people who've already paid full price are going to get. Anyway, that's how I feel about the situation.
A comedic trailer featuring a ton of robots for Fallout New Vegas has just been released.
It looks like it will explain the origins of some of the robots hanging around the wasteland. But more importantly, it may use the old timey horror theme for comedic effect. You guys better hope you took that robot perk.
I know this kind of humor isn't for everybody but there isn't anything better than ruining someone's day who takes a game too seriously.
Warning, foul language. This is the internet after all.
So, I'll start off with Team Roomba, who's basically inspiring this story. This video shows the effects of a little kid soundboard and a game where you can't mute. "HEY GUYS, CAN YOU HEAR ME?"
They have 2 other griefing vids so you should definitely watch those too. Team Roomba's channel.
The next few are going to be Ventrilo harassments. Ventrilos are kind of like Xbox live parties which are chat rooms with headsets. But, some of these rooms are public so anyone can go in. The best thing is that some of these griefers have the tech know-how to record some of these victims and playback and alter their voices.
This specific video has one of the greatest pay-offs I think I've ever heard.
This next video is a striking blow to internet tough guys everywhere. It's always satisfying when someone like this gets put in their place.
This one's a favorite of mine because this guy just cracks and has one of the most epic rages of all time at the end of the video.
Here's the last one I'll post. This was one was done on xboxlive and just like the others, it shows how much of a sense of humor some people have.
I seriously love this kind of stuff. On every one of these videos, I busted out laughing the first time I saw them. I just can't contain myself against the unexpected. I wish this kind of thing happened to me more but the closest I've ever been was when my friend got on Gears of War, played for a while, then out of nowhere, put his mic in his mouth and just started yelling. He was booted instantly but I was still laughing by the time he made it back in the room.

Here's your chance to try out the Call of Duty Elite service first
You might need to set up an account at callofduty.com and hope for the e-mail saying you've been invited. This was how most of us got into the beta for World at War.
The e-mail says you can connect with other people who play CoD, test your skills in tournaments and events that award virtual and real prizes, and access personal stats and strategic info to up your game skills. Basically, it's going to be Halo Waypoint for Call of Duty. I didn't really use Waypoint so I didn't think it was popular enough to copy.
Here's a link to the sign-up page so you might be able to bypass registering completely.
Sega released a new trailer of Sonic Generations showing off a pretty memorable level, City Escape.
The music is that Nanana song from My Chemical Romance but I'm hoping it's just a promotional song and the traditional music from Sonic Adventure 2 stays intact. Plus at the last 3 seconds, you see Sonic flying through Spagonia, a level from Sonic Unleashed. But if there's any level from Unleashed I want, it would be Apotos.
And here's an interview with one of the devs that I wanted to post a while ago.
Screens of the new dashboard have been released and it looks like it was designed off of the Windows Phone 7.
A new dashboard would have been at the bottom of the list of any updates I would ever want from Micorsoft, but here it is, a brand new dashboard that looks like the WP7.
The reveal trailer to Trials Evolution was just released with a very interesting last few seconds.
Skip the video up to 39 seconds in because the start is just padding. Obviously, the first thing you notice is the multiple riders which will hopefully mean online multiplayer. But what I noticed is that the game is actually outside and not in a warehouse. I know I definitely like the change in setting.
Motdef has compiled some funny moments from The Witcher 2 and I've found a bit of news about the game too.
I haven't had the pleasure of playing this apparently amazing game but this guy (motdef) has uploaded some funny moments of glitchy weirdness. These things don't normally happen but at least he was recording when they did.
And while I was looking for info on this game, I found out that the ESRB has rated the game for the Xbox360 but removed it shortly thereafter. It's not officially confirmed but it's good news for those of us who don't usually buy games for computers.

It's not just a rumor anymore. Nintendo officially announced a Wii successor about a month ago.
They're saying that the console should release in 2012 and Nintendo is going to show it off at E3 this year. Not that there's much to say until they actually show it.
Here's a link to some industry market stuff from Bloomberg that was in the last article.
Edit: I posted this really fast cause I thought the link was from May 25th, not April 25th. Has nobody seriously posted this story yet, or did I miss it?
Anyway, here's the webcomic where I found the joystiq link originally.
This is a board game based on the Gears of War series. I'm freaking serious.
The games being made by Fantasy Flight Games, who've apparently made board games out of Civilisation, BattleStar Galactica, and StarCraft, so they presumably know what they're doing (I wouldn't know, I would never play those).
What gets me though, is that it says "This fully cooperative design by Corey Konieczka pits 1–4 players against a cunning and relentless foe, and is based on the wildly popular series of third-person shooters by Epic Game." Who the fuck is going to play cooperatively by themselves. It boggles the mind.
The games been in development for about three years now. It looks like it was based on the first one but in this picture you can see a Kantus figurine from the second game.
