The most powerful Street Fighter characters made appearances throughout many games. Coming down to the Top 6 was down right close. But behold, the most prestige fighters in all of Street Fighter.
Ryu is perhaps the most famous character in the Street Fighter series. His humble beginnings to his uprising in ability to topple the giant champions of the world made him the fighter we all wished to be. The hero of Street Fighter and overall legend, he is known for usually snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.

I decided to start creating character builds because I see to many newbs online
So some of us was excited for Dead Island before release, No? Well I was and it turned out to be a pretty shitty game, that was before I looked at character builds that make this game actual fun.. Yes Dead Island is actually fun, can you imagine?
So the last week I've been playing as the top hat sporting power house/rapper Sam B. Some people online have no idea how Sam should be played and opt for the machine gun approach, not in this build. I'll have you cracking undead skulls in no time.. From Lv1 as a matter of fact. This build looks at Combat and Survival skills only, Sams Fury tree may seem fun but it's about as useful as ...Read full story...

How to score the "Tribute to a Vault Hunter" achievement and get some cool loot in the process.
Michael Mamaril was a huge Borderlands fan who passed away before BL2 was released. The guys at Gearbox have immortalized him in game, you can get an achievement for finding him, and better yet, he'll give you a free gun of blue (or better) quality every time you see him.
On the consoles, he shows up 100% of the time before the story mission "Rising Action" and only about 10% of the time after that mission starts. On PC it is apparently 10% all the time.
Here's video of us finding him after "Rising Action" at Scooter's (this contains a small story spoiler if you haven't played that mission yet):
And again, this time at Moxxi's:
When he does spawn, he will randomly be in one of a handful of locations, here's where you can find him.
- Near the newsstand in the center of town
- In an alley down the street from the front entrance to Moxxi's
- Inside Moxxi's, near the bar
- Inside Moxxi's, near the piano
- In Marcus' weapons shop
- Near Claptrap's locker up some steps
- Inside Scooter's garage, under the stairs
- Inside Crimson Raider headquarters next to the stairs
- Inside Zed's clinic
- To the left of the door to Crazy Earl's Black Market
He's easily identifiable from both the guns strapped to his back and the fact that his name shows over his head instead of "sanctuary citizen".
Once you've got an item from him, he won't give you another until you either save and reload or leave town and come back. It's a great way to get some mid-level gear before the "Rising Action" mission, where the action really picks up and those guns will come in handy.
The old school '92 classic beat 'em up has returned. Is it worth your money? Find out in the Gouki.com Review. Welcome to Die!
If I could describe the X-men Arcade game in one word it would be Disappointment.
Why you ask? Well I'll tell you why. I fondly remember going to the Arcade in San Diego California as a kid. Playing all sorts of games, blowing my hard earned money on good games, bad games, broken games (still pissed about those) and the best arcade games around. Back in the early '90s the top arcade games for me where the Beat 'Em Ups. The Simpsons Game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and who could forget the X-men Arcade game. Many of us had the 4-player cabinets in our local arcades, but some of us where lucky enough to have 6-player action at our fingertips... and just for a quarter (I miss those days).
I would spend hours beyond hours every week playing the X-men Arcade game. Meeting new people every time and having a blast. So I was stoked to find out that Konami was bringing this childhood classic back. At 800 MSP or $10 PSN I was sold. I bought this baby yesterday and to my surprise I was severely disappointed.
The game is exactly as I remember it, which is the problem. After 18 years I was expecting Konami to release an updated version, not just a smoothing filter. I wanted to have a remade X-men Arcade with updated sounds, graphics, and gameplay. Now I am not the person who hates the classics, or thinks they aren’t fun. My problem is that they could have had two games in one. X-men Arcade Classic, and a revamped version as well.
You have the choice between two version of X-men Arcade, USA and Japan. The Japanese version is better than the USA version solely because when you use a Mutant Power in the USA version it drains your life meter before using your energy orb. The Japanese version is the other way around. The USA version is much more difficult which would be a great challenge had the game had some sort of continue system. Instead you have unlimited lives, and can basically just spam Mutant Powers the entire time. Sure they take away your life energy, but who cares you can’t lose. Even online play has infinite continues. There is no way to change it either. So basically unless you’re like me and really want to try and relive the classic, you’ll try not to spam Mutant Powers.
My first play through was solo, and I beat it in 30 minutes. I spent $10 only to be jerked around for 30 minutes. This game welcomed me to die alright; I wanted to end my life and the game after playing it. The character selection is how you remember it, you can choose from; Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Night Crawler, and The Dazzler (yes she is a real X-men) each character has his/her own Mutant Power. Cyclops shoots laser beams from his eyes, Storm strikes her enemies with lightning, Wolverine slashes his claws at his enemies (lamest Mutant Power), Colossus goes into rage and destroys enemies surrounding him, Night Crawler teleports across the screen and destroys anyone in his path, and The Dazzler who uses sound frequencies to destroy her enemies.
For the most part of the game you are fighting your way through sentinel after sentinel with a few other enemies here and there. There are also eight boss characters, Pyro, Blob, Wendigo, Nimrod, The White Queen, Juggernaut, Mystique and of course Magneto. Each boss is basically a push over save Magneto. As one falls after another you move onto a new level. The story of this game is basically Magneto threatens the city with his army of sentinels and Kidnaps Professor X and Kitty Pryde. It’s up to the X-men to Go and Save the City as well as rescue X and Kitty.
It’s a pretty simple game, only using 3 buttons; Attack, Jump, and Mutant Power, which makes for an easy to pick up and play game. Online play is done well, with the option of playing 6-player drop in drop out co-op with relatively no lag. The only issue here is even on expert difficulty, 6 players can run through the game in under 15 minutes. It’s really hard to suggest spending $10 for such a short time of play.
While the X-men Arcade game is still a great classic in my heart, this new version is just plagued with not adding anything new to the game in 18 years. I had fun playing it, but I think it’s a waste of $10 Jimmys. Buy it if you’re a huge fan and have to get your hands on it, but for the rest of you out there just Demo it
Bottom Line: Demo It!

All the gear you need to be a master crafter for level 25-29. HQ style. This gear can easily last you 10 levels. With the right Materia added you can be an HQ master, like me. Remember DoH gear is cross class. I'm leveling all crafts to 50. Save $$$!
Before I even started I check the MP to see how much it would cost me to just buy this stuff & not waste my time crafting. Well 1; I need the XP for Weaver & Goldsmith. 2; I’ve been collecting HQ Diremite & a few other mats for a week. Plus all my other crafts are at level 24 so I can make any miscellaneous piece I need on the fly.
On the MP these items HQ were costing well over 30k on Malboro server. I’m fairly certain I put this entire set together for less than 20k using HQ mats.
Head: Velveteen Wedge Cap Lv. 27
Body: Velveteen Coatee of Crafting Lv. 26
Hands: Velveteen Shortgloves Lv. 28
Waist: Velveteen Half Apron Lv. 28
Legs: Velveteen Bottom Lv. 28
Feet: Velveteen Gaiters Lv. 28
Neck: Silver Choker Lv. 29
Ears: Horn Earrings Lv. 25
Wrist: Silver Wristlets of Crafting Lv. 26
Rings x2: Silver Rings of Crafting Lv. 27
A level 26 WVR & GSM can make all of this stuff no problem. Providing HQ materials are used to make it easy on them. I highly recommend always crafting for HQ mats, if you want for sure a HQ outcome.
Total list of materials used:
Dew Thread 6
Undyed Cotton Cloth 2
Undyed Velveteen Cloth 10
Silver Ingot 9
Iron Ingot 1
Mudstone Whetstone 2
Silver Rings 2
Antelope Horn 1
Aldgoat Leather 2
Give or take a few mats here & there. Maybe a couple extra, just in case there is a miss. I think you’ll be good tho.
*I'll add an update later on the Materia I used.
End stats were 172 Craftsmanship. 183 Control. 278 CP.

Looks like you'll be able to use Catwoman at least part of the time in this game. Co-op anyone? -UPDATED- official source for trailer.
Note: This video isn't up on the official youtube page yet, so here's some jimmy ass rip of the gamespot version. Enjoy it while it's up. I'll post the official if Rocksteady/Warner ever get around to updating their youtube page.
An in-depth view as to why Tokido reigns as my favorite Street Fighter.
Tokido is a young but exceptionally accomplished player of numerous fighting games in Japan, but he is perahps best known for his adept use of Akuma in Super Street Fighter 4 as he is honored as the best Akuma player in the world. He is known to have even taught Austrailia's best, Toxy, a few extra techniques to really improve his game. As an Akuma player myself, I naturally have respect for Tokido as well as his game. His mix ups, mind games, spacing, and precise execution, have even granted him victories over Daigo himself.
But aside from being a grand player, Tokid also has a well placed personality. While Daigo is quiet and rarely speaks, Tokido is more alike to most of us, knowing he has skill but he doesn't rub it in, while at the same time picking moments to really rise in status in the community. We all remember one such moment in the SoCal Regionals tournament when Tokido finished off ClackeyD's Ibuki and set forth to become godlike.
In addition to having a great sense of humor as well as having a good sense of grandeur (I totally would have done the same xD) Tokido also shares a good sense of socialism with the community, a quality more commonly shared by most of us that links Tokido to us, giving us connection and familiarity to a great player. He gives input back to the community that helps players to up their game with greater confidence to play Akuma. In this 2 part interview, it shows Tokido answering questions as well as you get a good idea of who Tokido is, his personality, as well as how one would be able to get along with him. He's basically like one of the guys, but he just happens to be an extremely good player. It's also interesting to see him give his opinion on other high level players!
In conclusion, I see Tokido as a Grand Master, a very great player that gives back to his fellow players and apparently seems like a good person to be around. He is seems to be a great role model as well (no smoking guys haha) But as well, he has a great sense of humility and humbleness. He doesn't absorb attention but only accepts it, and that is what allows him to differ from players with conceited attitudes. Among his most humble and humerous moments, is an early match with the Japanese model female player Haruna Anno. Observe and enjoy :D
In the end, Tokido remains my favorite player as he continues to awe and inspire us all. To Tokido, Thank You for playing Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition.

Goukijones, Batrasterd, and I take on Pete the Invincible using a glitch to our advantage.
On Wednesday, January 16, Goukijones, Batrasterd, and I went and took on the raid boss of Mr. Tourge's Campaign of Carnage, Pete the Invincible. During the course of this particular fight, though, we ended up getting Pete into a spot where he essentially got stuck, allowing us to defeat him without much issue.Read full story...

Street Fighter on the 3DS, New Super Street Fighter IV DLC, Darkstalkers IV teased, More SSF4 characters to come? AND STREET FIGHTER X TEKKEN!!
Outside while we waited in line we were so lucky to be entertained by some bad ass Street Fighter Cosplay.
And check out this Gouki!!
Here's how I remember it ... Ono-chin got right into talking about the new DLC for Super Street Fighter IV which is just new/old costumes. For example the Chun Li Alpha sweat pants are back. Blanka has some seriously ridiculous looking shit on. You can find better pictures on the net, but this is a picture I took.
I may recall things out of order. At one point Ono-chin teases about Darkstalkers again. He asks everyone to pull out some money and hold it up in the air. He took a picture and told everyone that he was going to show it to the head Jimmys in charge back in Japan. "See people are ready to pay for Darkstalkers." He joked. I hope you follow Ono-chin on twitter he has one of the best accounts. @yoshi_onochin
Then there was talk of the Super Street Fighter IV 3DS version. Which looks amazing and I won't play. There isn't much for me to comment on here. What about the Super Street Fighter IV arcade release? I don't know who is saying what and what we are exactly talking about on stage, because I know like two words in Japanese so I think I can speak it. What am I talking about here ... I believe that Ono-chin was hinting that NEW characters will be in the arcade release. Which if this is true, it only means that another inevitable Street Fighter IV will be coming to the home consoles sometime. It's inevitable.
One of the characters already announced is Birdie. j/k
Then on the screen in front of the room the words "Here comes a new challenger!" pops up and the lights go out.
Then from out of nowhere a crazy man in the back of the room is screaming in Japanese. Throwing copies of Tekken 6 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 across the room. Aiming for Jimmys dressed in Street Fighter costumes. The lights come on and my eyes jump over to the goofy white guy who starts translating the Japanese. Oh it's Harada, the Tekken Jimmy and his translator that pronounced EVO "EV-VO" Nubfarm!
So yes, Ono and Harada are good friends. Their shenanigans went on for over 45 minutes at EVO earlier this month. They are both very theatrical as well. They both dressed the same with the robes although Ono claimed he just woke up late. I don't know what these crazy Japanese guys are up to. They do make incredible games. And then Ono-chin announced Street Fighter X Tekken. Yes "X!" It means cross, I think. He continued to blow everybody's mind and said he had a playable copy of Street Fighter X Tekken. Just watch my video below. Prepare to be amazed.
Did you notice RYU almost has an expression like "C'mon really?" When he sees Kazuya. Kazuya makes a face too, but RYU thinks this is a joke. The graphics are beautiful and the tag partner element is always a crazy gameplay design. Ono insisted that this was a live play, but I'm just saying it could have been a video. As set up as everything was there were still on stage. Either way we won't be seeing this game probably for a couple of years. Expect the next serious update
E3 2010 E3 2011. Now play me in Super Street Fighter IV!!
DaDoppen has made a pretty interesting combo video using the Koryu hack for Street Fighter IV PC. This video features El Fuerte, Blanka, Dhalsim, and Gen. Check it out!
