Announced this afternoon Gearbox Software and 2K Games are throwing a party for the Duke in Las Vegas. Oh you'll get to play the game ... and drink ... and look at hot women.
Gearbox Software and 2K Games both twat about the private Duke Nukem party "Come Party with Duke Nukem in Las Vegas" just a few hours ago. You'll get to play Duke Nukem, drink and possible see some titties.
Sign-up for the party now. The only thing is you gotta bring me with you.
Other valuable information you should know is that you need to be at least 21. Also you can't offended by nudity and/or hot women. I guess though if you are into Duke Nukem, that doesn't matter. So sign-up and here's to us Partying with the Duke.
Sorry I haven't been very active lately guys. Been busy with my birthday and some other stuff, but to make it up to you I've got a review of Duke Nukem Forever.
Duke Nukem Forever. The game that most of us never thought would see the light of day, has finally been released. Was it worth the wait?
Graphics: Let's start here. Duke Nukem Forever has been in development for about 12 years now, and it definitely shows. The graphics in this game are very sub-par compared to the games were used to seeing released nowadays, but I wouldn't say they're terrible. They look like a very early 360 game, or maybe even a late Xbox game. They get the job done but don't be expected to be blown out of the water by any means. There are posters on the wall that are so blurry you can't read them, and Duke's jumping animation when looking in a mirror is laughable. Literally, I laugh every time I see it.
Story: I'm going to tell you right now that if you waited for Duke all these years hoping for an epic story you're going to be very VERY disappointed. Pretty much Aliens came to earth, and duke needs to stop them....again. But this time they've taken all the women, and Duke won't stand for that. And that's the entire story. No plot twists no nothing, that's pretty much about it.Read full story...

I got the code to download the demo this morning and thought I'ld make a video for those of you who missed out.
The game that took 12 years is about to be here, but if you were a First Access member you should get a code for the demo today. So check your email. If you didn't get the demo don't worry I have some low quality video of it.
The first video covers the intro and a fight with a big fucking alien. It goes up to the start of the second part of the demo so you'll see some driving also.
The second video picks up just after you jump the canyon with your monster truck and get put back on foot. This will lead up to a fight where you have to throw explosives at a spaceship until it explodes. So far I just keep dying.
If I get past that I'll add a part 3 later. Until then here are my thoughts on the demo.
First off the game is made be Gearbox (the people who made Borderlands) so they know how to make a fun FPS. And I have the demo on PS3, but it should be about the same on the 360. Once the game starts you get a couple laughs and a fight. The controls here are pretty typical for any FPS. After you take down that first big alien you find out that Duke was playing a game. And he is using a Xbox 360 control. So that was funny to me, and made me wonder if he'll be playing on the PS3 control for the Xbox version. After the cut scene you get to drive Duke's monster truck. It handles like crap, but you get to run over some aliens and jump a canyon. Then you are back on foot. The pig face aliens seem to be rendered pretty nicely here. The graphics might not be cutting edge, but they aren't to bad. I was surprised not to here to much talk from Duke, but what he says does change as you play. And some if it is funny, but just some of it. Overall it is pretty much what you would expect from Duke Nukem had it not taken 12 years to make.
So now to pass judgment on the game. If you are new to the series or looking for a great FPS I'm going to say rent it first. But if you have been waiting for this game go right ahead and buy it, you'll get the game you have been waiting for.
Well thanks to it taking forever to upload to YouTube I was able to finish the demo. There was a RPG hidden in the little shack next to the mini gun, and that got me through the fight. You head down into the mine and get to fight a little more and ride in the rail cars Indian Jones style. After some more shooting you find some gas and make your way back to the monster truck and after you gas it up the demo ends. So you get to try out the handgun, shotgun, devastator, shrink ray, rpg, ripper, rail gun, pipe bombs, and some explosives. Not a bad selection for a demo.
And here are the last two videos. #3 is going through the mines and #4 is getting out then getting to see a censored version of the trailer they already released. It might have all fit in one video had a not got lost a couple times and realized that there was a little plat forming to be done.
So that is the entire demo. What did you think? Besides that I need to practice before making a video and that I need to download some video editing software.

Are you hyped up for the return, OFFICIAL return of Duke Nukem? Check out both versions of the new Duke Nukem Forver
This trailer just debuted on TV tonight, on a show you never heard of and a channel you probably don't have. Don't worry though, I got your back.
Lots of news on Duke Nukem Forever's Muliplayer Game Modes and Weapons/Abilities! !
(Above is a leaked photo of a deathmatch in DNF from xbox magazine, reminds me of Toy Story. This may be the result of the Shrinker Gun)
In Duke Nukem Forever you don't play boring Capture the Flag, you play CAPTURE THE BABE! No screenshots of this babe capturing yet, but in this multiplayer game mode you run around carrying ladies. But from being carried, the "babe" apparently freaks out a bit, so you have to give her a slap on the butt to calm...her down? Not much details on it, so feel free to speculate! Maybe if you go too long without these reasurring slaps, she wiggles away or something, I'm interested to see what other twists will come a long in Duke Nuken Forever.
Game Modes- . Dukematch and TeamDukeMatch are both deathmatch oriented games. Hail to the King is King of the Hill type of gameplay. All game modes are 8 players, 4v4. And the "Capture the Babe" stated above.
Weapons- will be pistol, shotgun, ripper chaingun, pipebomb, rpg, shrinker, railgun, freezer, devastator and tripbomb. Also you can only carry two primary weapons at once in addition to having pipebombs and tripbombs. Also JETPACKS SON! only in multiplayer, not single...O_O
Customization - characters can get points by getting kills and achivements, also bonus points for "funny kills" (like pipe-bomb suicide) As expected, every shooter has a lvling system now a days, going to be interesting finding out what unlcocks Duke will have.
Awesome powerups- Steroids let Duke do 1 hit kill punches, run faster but cant use guns, leaves him immune to shrinker. Shrinker turns people into Mini-Duke, only do 10% of dmg. And HoloDuke allows him to be cloaked and do cool melee kills.
Do you like 4v4 game types and the idea of carrying babes? Does "Duke Sauce" sound delicious? Leave a comment below with your ideas and thoughts. I wasn't too interested until now, the MP sounds extremely fun. Don't be a Jimmy.
What would Duke Do? These two new videos showcases some of what Duke and Duke Nukem Forever are all about. Check it out!
We've all been put in situations where we had to do something that would most likely be frowned upon by others. Duke Nukem however takes it to a whole other level. Check out these two trailers, and ask yourself. What Would Duke Do?
DO NOT ATTEMPT AT HOME!!!!
Tell us what you think in the comments. Don't be a Jimmy!
Now June 14th in the US and June 10 everywhere else.
A special message from Randy Pitchford
I hesitated in labeling this "news" as we are talking about Duke Nukem Forever here.
Duke Nukem has been around since 1991 and has always left an impression in everyone's mind. A group from 3D Realms has got together to create a history of the King of video games. Check it out!
Also it wouldn't be a Duke Nukem game without some babes. Check out this new trailer!
Duke Nuken is scheduled to come out June 14th! Don't be a Jimmy pre order now!
The Demo is almost here... a week before the game.
Now we know when to expect it.
Who's going to be there? What will you be playing it on?

Random sites and even Major Nelson say the pre-order has been announced for Duke Nukem Forver ... Where's the beef?
Duke Nukem release date still not official, demo still unannounced
BatRastered spotted it earlier in the day on some random site. Duke Nukem Forver pre-order has been announced and the release date is February 1st 2011.
That's right, that's what Amazon says. Even though, it's still the fake box art. That pre-order page also says: "Official pricing and release date have not been announced by the publisher. These are estimates only and subject to change."

Amazon has also had this pre-order available since September 1, 2010. [Gearbox Software Forums]Read full story...
I'm pretty sure this game isn't coming out when they say it is.
Amazon is still taking pre-orders, but the date has moved back from February 1 to May 31.
Official pricing and release date have not been announced by the publisher. These are estimates only and subject to change.
There is no official box art on the site, and the description for the XBOX 360 version still has the info from Borderlands on it.
Don't be fooled!

After all the hype and drama about the game here's some good news.
"With the Duke Nukem Forever demo just around the corner for members of the First Access Club there, Gearbox Software and 2K Games are thrilled to announce that the First Access Club benefits don't stop there!
Any First Access Club member who has registered as of today will receive the very first downloadable Duke Nukem Forever multiplayer add-on pack for free when it's released!* Surprise!
Thanks again for all of your support, and always bet on Duke!
*Platform availability and eligibility is subject to local laws and regulations."
So we will get the first multiplayer add on pack for free, now that was worth it. I got my access free by getting a game I already wanted (Borderlands GOTY) so getting the demo was a nice bonus. But this looks like the knew the fans were still looking for something better after the crap with the date change and a demo just over a week before the game comes out. Gearbox and 2K games have made a real smart choice here. I was surprsed that there wasn't some joke about Duke coming more than once. Maybe they are saving it for later.
So what do you think now? Was this a decent promo afterall? Or are you salty about a DLC announcement before the game even drops?
Hail to the King baby!
