for the better, or worse...
Okay, so i just loaded up Castlevania: Harmony of Despair today and an update has appeared. this update changes quite a bit of balance to the gameplay. After experiencing the changes, I've decided to write down here what changes i noticed. Here's what to expect in this update:
Alucard
- Strength increase
- Damage increase for multiple weapons
- Yasutsuna (or should I say, Alucard's broken spamable weapon) has a slower hit rate
- Spirit magic does more damage
- Decreased MP cost for Hellfire and Dark Metamorphisis?
Charlotte
- Increased the cost of heal to 50MP
- Heal doesn't heal as much, making the astral + skull ring combo not as effective as it used to be
- Charlotte can no longer pass through flames when heal is used
Maria
- Decreased MP cost for all magic
- Slightly faster MP regen
- Increased Hymn damage
- Hymm deals holy damage
- Increased Guardian Knuckle damage
Soma
- Damage increase for some weapons such as the Muramasa
- Beserker Mail no longer increases the amount of damage dealt from offensive souls
Whip Users (Johnathan, Julius, Richter)
- Decreased the MP cost of all sub weapons
- Holy Water damage increased
Yoko
- Decreased MP cost for all magic
- Slightly faster MP regen?
- Holy Flames and Holy Lightning now also deal holy damage
General Changes
- Skeletons (dead players) can now backdash and slide
- Skeletons can receive loot from boss chests
- You can self fail a run by holding LB+RB+A+B+X+Y together for 2 or 3 seconds
- Players can join a room any time while in the lobby
- When searching for custom games you can now also search for the difficulty and chapter
- Robe Decollete had a stats increase and also grants faster MP regen, making it superior to Death's Robe
- Enemies deal more damage than before
- Miser Ring can now be found on Chapter 7
- Latency bar in the lobby actually works now
- Dual Crushes deal more damage

in their second episode of Death Battle, Akuma (Gouki) is Pitted against Shang Tsung. Who will win, the master of the dark hadou, or the soul stealing sorcerer? It's going to be one awesome battle. Be sure to watch this.

Yep, that's Right. read this for info for the upcoming DLC for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
Okay, So I recently found out that Scott Pilgrim vs. The Wold will be coming out sometime next month. the DLC involve around two bonus mini-games, and a new playable character.
Okay, Bonus Mini-Game #1: Dodgeball
In this mode, There will be a large Volleyball on the field. The obejet of this game is to knock everyone out with the ball, and no, i don't mean one hit and they're out.
Next, Bonus Mini-Game #2: Battle Royale
You can treat this mode similar to a wrestling match. the object of this game is to win by either 1 of 2 methods: either knock you opponent out, or your opponent says out of the center ring for more that ten counts. of course, it wouldn't really be a battle royale without there being weapons outside the ring.
Finally, New Playable Character: Knives Chau
And yes, the one character that was one of the support characters you can use during the game (in fact, she's your first support character in the first place), actually becomes a playable character. Seeing as who she won't have herself as a support character, the developers decided that her support character would be none other than her very own mother.
As for the Price of the DLC, they say it'll be $1.99 on the PSN store, and 160 MSP in the Marketplace.

Apparently there are going to be a couple of Wal-Marts around the US that's going to be holding a special MvC3 Tournament soon.
Okay, So I went to my local Wal-Mart a couple of days ago, and I learned from an employee at the electronics department area that there will be a special tournament for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 the day before release. anyone who enters will have a chance to score a special tournament editition of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 (It's just the standard Ver., only with a much Cooler cover page, in my opinion.) people who also enters the tournament will also gain capcom community points (trying to remember how much per entree), as well as a bigger amount going for the grand prize winner. So, if you want to have a look, go to your local Wal-Mart (most likely supercenter), and see if they are doing it (I know the one I go to is hosting one of these tournaments. After all, I live right next to it.) hopefully I could get a photo of the special cover in the coming days.

UPDATE:
I went to Wal-Mart today and got the photos of the flyer and the special boxart cover. here they are:

Rumor mill: Frank Wast & Doctor Octopus found in code in MvC3
By: Arthvader Feb 17, 2011 | 10 Comments
Rumors states two characters to join roster, (or just leftover code)
It seems that a hacker decided to look into the code for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, and managed to find the names of one Frank West and Doctor Octopus. What could this mean? were Frank West and Doc Oc suppose to be in the overall roster, or will they appear as DLC in the future, or they simply wern't supposed to be there? I'll leave this story with an image of the screenshot of the code, as well as my sources.

By: Arthvader Jul 20, 2011 | 5 Comments
Back with a few old vintage matches in third strike through the anniversary edition before the close of the original xbox live
With SFIITSOE coming in a few months, I've decided to bring up a few old vids that i had with fellow xbox live friend and youtube user Mixer Productions. in these vids (which were uploaded back in 2009, before Microsoft canceled the online services for the original xbox), I was player 1, and Mixer was player 2. We had some good times in these battles. Remember, as with all vids i show on this site, I did not upload these onto youtube. And now, on to the matches:

some of my earliest battles from 2009 with some friends
Back in October of 2009, Me and a couple of my friends decided to have a recording session in Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. It was a fun time for us, going all out with what characters we liked to use. for me, I pretty much used Chun-Li throughout the session. Also, after the second video, I pretty much was out of the set (as I had to meet up with some else during that time.) As with all the videos put here on gouki.com, I did not upload these. this set of videos were uploaded to youtube by youtube user The Legend of Renegade, who goes by the xbl gamertag MixerProductions. and now, on to the videoes:
