We made jokes about the Capcops coming after the leaks, Sony is doing it for real.
Apparently a guy in Germany had the cops come in his house and take his gear. Sony is going all out to try and catch these hackers and they want you to know it's comming.
I'm glad to see that the people hacking the games and cheating are being targeted, but I'm not sure that it will work. There are different laws around the world so some people will find ways around it. Plus hackers can be pretty fucking sneaky, so this could cost Sony a decent chunk of money. Does it out weigh what they are losing because of the hacks?
Don't be a Jimmy let's hear you thoughts.

It's short, but it was enough to make me smile. I've played every game and haven't been let down yet. I've turned off the system mid game, walked out to smoke, and came back and gave it dirty looks. But there was some pride each time you beat a boss, and finishing the game was a worthwile challenge.
So how many of you Jimmys are looking forward to this?
And only a little over 2 years after Japan the US will be getting Xenogears on PSN.
Xenogears was easily one of the best RPGs I have played. Who didn't love playing as Fei Wong and having access to Mechs? And as a 15 year old boy the game had everything. I know that it won't look as good as the Xenosaga games that came out later on, but if you never played the original, now is the time. February 22 you can download it and see how it all got started.
Well what are you waiting for Jimmy?
It's nice to know I'm not the only one who wants Darkstalkers 4.
I remember the first time I saw the Darkstalkers select screen as a pre-teen boy.
I had to try it. A fighting game with monsters and it played like Street Fighter. My quarters were gone and I couldn't wait to play again.
So of course I had to have it when it hit the Playstaion. Demitri Maximoff, Jon Talbain, Victor von Gerdenheim, Lord Raptor, Morrigan Aensland, Anakaris, Felicia, Oboro Bishamon, Rikuo and Sasquatch were now at the house.
And the countless blisters that followed were no suprise.
And then the Saturn got round two, but this time I had a pair of joysticks and finally had the arcade feel at home. And the roster grew, we got Donovan Baine and Hsien-Ko plus this time around Huitzil and Pyron were playable.
Enter four more new characters. Jedah, Lilith, Q-Bee and B. B. Hood were brought in now we had 18 playable characters.
Then with the exception of of PSP port we had nothing for the main series. The Vs Capcom games kept hope alive that we would see a new game but it never hapened. And now rumors start about a possible follow up. But "I would like to make," and "we are making," aren't the same.
I'ld love to see a new game and with fighters making a comeback I don't think it's out of the question, but Capcom needs to see the support from the fans. But instead of whining and pleading lets give it some real thought.
What would you like to see in number 4? Some new charactes? Great idea, what kind? On-line play? To keep up with all the rest of the competion they almost have to. Anything else? Let's hear it.
Don't be a Jimmy! You want it? Hate the idea? Speak your mind (even if you're wrong) what are you waiting for?
Just another casualty to todays economy
Do you look forward to all the Guitar Hero releases? Sorry to break it to you but Activision has closed the studio that makes them and has confirmed that the 2011 game has been scrapped. We have all played with one of those plastic guitars, some less sober than others, but now we have lost the series that started the trend.
And if you were looking forward to True Crime: Hong Kong I've got more bad news for you. I'm just hoping that the trend for minimizing doesn't go on much longer because it seems that we are loosing lots of well know titles in favor of what?
here's the link if you want more info. http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/09/report-activision-axing-guitar-hero-and-true-crime-freestyle-g/?icid=maing%7Cmain5%7Cdl9%7Csec1_lnk3%7C42713
Well they are making Rocksmith now, it's to be geared towards real play instead of a party atmosphere. Way to piss off smoe fans.

I just came across the story and thought some of you might enjoy.
Anime girls + photography = probably not comming to the U.S.
[Editor's Note: Video was removed from YouTube.]
I think this would be huge with the right group, and in Japan it might not look so out of place. We did have that Playboy game that was along the same lines, but anime kind of ends up in a special category.
But it did get me thinking about all of the stuff that doesn't make it here. We miss shows, games, movies, and music. Given how fast people are able to find just about anything what is it that draws all these lines in the sand?
I myself watch subbed anime and movies and have found a lot of great stuff. Then I look at the total crap that is available here everywhere you look. Jersey Shore is a great example, or how about the real Housewives? I don't think I have any need to interfere in other peoples shit, but it really makes no sense to me.
Sorry to go on, but I think we have missed lots of great stuff, look at what happened with the Dragon Quest games and Final Fantasy. Not that Instant Brain is on that level, but it will most likely be one of the countless games that will never hit our shores.

Have you ever wanted to battle it out as some of the biggest names in the Square Enix roster?
Final Fantasy has been an icon for many gamers world wide, we have put countless hours into the games, and we still come back for more. Dissidia 012 is a prequel to the previous PSP game, and it will let you fight as your favorite characters.
Need I say more?
Ok how about this.
and I guess this wouldn't hurt..
The game will be here March 22, so what do you need to know?
The roster? Ok. The Original cast, Warrior of Light (Final Fantasy), Firion (FF2), Onion Knight (FF3), Cecil Harvey (FF4), Bartz Klauser (FF5), Terra Branford (FF6), Cloud Strife (FF7), Squall Leonhart (FF8), Zidane Tribal (FF9), Tidus (FF10), Shantotto (FF11), Cosmos (Dissidia), Garland (Final Fantasy), The Emporer (FF2), Cloud of Darkness (FF3), Golbez (FF4), Exdeath (FF5), Kefka Palazzo (FF6), Sephiroth (FF7), Ultimecia (FF8), Kuja (FF9), Jecht (FF10), Gabranth (FF12), Chaos (Final Fantasy). Pretty good right?
But then you add a few new ones, Kain Highwind (FF4), Gilgamesh (FF5), Tifa Lockhart (FF7), Laguna Loire (FF8), Yuna (FF10), Prishe (FF11), Vaan (FF12), Lighning (FF13) and how about add Aerith as a support character if you play the demo.
You get a Fighter an a Single Player Story mode, so it's got plenty to offer.
I wish it was on the PS3, but the PSP will do just fine.
Will you be picking it up? Who will you play as first? Don't be a Jimmy.
What good are a ton of guns if they are all the same? Borderlands 2 is going to make sure you know what you're packing.
In Borderlands there were countless gun that you could find and use. Some had special powers, like the wave gun, others were kind of generic. But they all had a brand, could you tell them apart? This time around Gearbox wants to be sure you know who made your gun.
The Tediore guns seem to have a special style to them. When you run out of bullets you can throw it like a grenade, or leave ammo in for a bigger explosion. The gun will then respawn. Now that sounds like fun to me.
The Bandits will also be in the gun business this time around. You could be sporting a bottle instead of a scope or a screw instead of your sight. But they are going to offer the biggest clips.
Torque is going to bring the heavy hitters. These guns are all about a show of force.
These are going to be the sleek guns according to Gearbox, to me that means silencers and and assasin feel.
Jakobs should be a name you remember from the first game. This time around they will be bringing the old school guns and lots of damage.
Dahl is another familiar name. They will be offering up more realistic guns along the lines of what you see in your average FPS.
And Hyperion brought us claptrap so you can expect that to be the style you have.
Vladof will be hooking you up with the guns that are all about the fire rate. And as an added bonus they will sport minigun barrels.
With this much thought being put in for your guns my hopes are even higher for the rest of the game. They are taking the time to be sure that each maker has their own look and feel. And with any FPS your gun choice defines your play style. Will you be the guy who picks of the enemy from a distance or do you want to blow them apart? Borderlands 2 will let you play your way. Are you a spray and pray player or a gunslinger? You're covered. And of course I can't help but to hope we will see even more alien tech. Did you have a favorite gun from the first game or did you just use whatever you could find?
Don't be a jimmy. Let's hear what you hope they reveal next. Maybe what gun maker you are going to be looking for. What other types of characters do you want? We already know the Berserker will be able to do some double weilding what other perks do you want?
With a game like this it's all in the details, and if you're anything like me you're waitnig for them all.
You have to respect loyalty, they will be keeping the main series on the PS3. SOUHEI NIIKAWA also mentions animating the characters as being a focus since Disgaea 3, that makes this even better. TENPEI SATO says there are 40 to 50 tracks this time around, and with any Jrpg you know the music pretty well after a few hundred hours of game play.
I can't say it enough, I LOVE this series, if you haven't tried it you need to. There is some solid Final Fantasy Tactics gameplay, some incredible characters, a story worth following, and more jokes than you'll know what to do with.
Best line ever "He knows my secret weakness, sexy big breasted women, but flat chested girls like you have no effect on me." Smack!!! I'll never get tired of it.
So lets hear what you think Jimmy. And if you find new info please, please, please let me know.

Bring in your friends and team up in the Beta.
So there are plenty of you already playing Gears of War 3 and now you can add to those numbers. This is going to start May 8th.
You can get the tokens to give away by playing a match,
"• Purchase any “Gears of War” content from Xbox LIVE Marketplace (including a “Gears of War” Game Add-on, a “Gears of War” Games on Demand title, or a “Gears of War” Avatar item)
• Play 20 or more hours of the “Gears of War 3” beta (any time already spent in the beta will count toward this challenge)
• Add a 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription to your existing account (purchased from retail or online)
• Play more than 100 hours of any “Gears of War” title, lifetime to date"
Now I have another reason to kick myself about Xbox Live.
And now for the last character you can use.
His name is Grant Alexander.
He is a Georgia boy who has moved to California and is on the varsity football team when he realizes he's a mutant. As with the other characters you will be able to pick his base power and have it evolve as you play. But from what I've read the character selection is mostly about background and personality. You will have the option to basically have your character play however you want. So the the answer to almost all of your questions about how does the game play is it depends on how you play.
So watching this video made me realize how little I cared that they were making this.
The video is up, and I tried to feel enthusiastic, but so far I just don't care. Maybe it was Tekken 6 that let me down, or maybe I'm just getting jaded. It looks like there will be lots of new stuff, and I even see character customization in there, but again I just don't really care. Maybe as the game gets closer I'll get more interested, but I think that with all the other fighters comming out or recently released Tekken Tag Tournament 2 just isn't much of a priority.
Don't be a Jimmy! I want to hear what you liked or hated about the last Tag, or even any of the Tekkens. Has the game gotten stale? Will it stand out?
