Death to all little sisters! I'd like to bang a Big Sister. Seriously though, this series is circling the drain. Pun intended. Jimah!
I've played through and have beaten Bioshock 2 twice now on normal and hard difficulties. The game is fun, a few changes from the original which are good and bad in the long run. The graphics and sound design are spot on. At first, I thought the graphics were a little weaker than the original, but that won't make a difference as you play Bioshock 2.
So when I say it's easier the second time through on hard, what I mean is ... it's easier. The second time through I killed every Little Sister. Killing them gets you plenty of extra Adam(Adam is what you use to buy new or upgrade your plasmids(plasmids is the stuff you shoot out of your left hand.)) That's for the noobs. Anyway killing every Little Sister will get you plenty of Adam to level up. I was so powerful at the end of my second run through I was just standing there watching everyone else fight each other. First off I would turn invisible when I stood still for a second. Then I always had two of my own security bots flying around, doing a perimeter check and their stats were maxed out. I had the Swarm plasmid maxed out and a swarm of bees would seek out any splicer in the room and eat them up. Also, the bees would lay dormant in the dead bodies waiting for another splicer to walk by to attack them. Finally, my other ally was a Big Daddy. The level three Hypnotize can take control of Big Daddies, So I had two flying security bots, a swarm of killer bees and a Big Daddy running around the room killing everything while I ate a sandwich.Read full story...

Yep, the big game's sequel was given a release date earlier today.
Bioshock was a great game when it launched on the Xbox 360 and PC, and it was still great when it was released as a port on the PlayStation 3, but almost from the minute it came out fans were speculating a sequel. Of course, 2K was glad to give in to the requests and announced that there would, in fact, be a sequel to the atmospheric shooter. Well, today there's more information in the form of a solid release date.
According to a press release, 2K is committing on the release date of February 9, 2010. This time around, the game is launching simultaneously on the Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3. As many fans are already aware, this time around you get to step into the boots of the iconic Bioshock nemesis, a Big Daddy. The press release earlier this morning also confirmed that the sequel would contain a multiplayer component, which is something which split the fans of the first one; some thought it was needed, while others thought that the atmospheric touches would be lost in multiplayer. While we can only assume that the multiplayer will be confined to online experiences, it hasn't been mentioned rather or not the multiplayer will be available via split-screen. What we do know about the multiplayer component is that it will be a unique module as opposed to throwing two characters into the story designed for one. Yes, that's right; there will be two stories in Bioshock 2, and the only way to experience both stories will be to play the game both solo and multiplayer.
February 9, 2010; mark it on your calendars.
Here's a list of video games I want and don't want to play in 2010. It's going to be an amazing year. Number 1 in the world baby King of Jimmys!
Mass Effect 2 Its so close I can't believe it. I love Mass Effect 1. The guns the music the flying the ship through the space and being a fuckin' asshole to everyone in the galaxy. Can't wait to play part 2! Mass Effect 2 giveaway
Bioshock 2 is right behind ME2. If you got vacation days coming, use them! Fuck the multiplayer Jimmy whining about multiplayer suck. Bioshock was so much fun just by itself. I will play the multiplayer though, carrying the kicking and screaming little sister around as "the flag" is cool and looks awesome.
Final Fantasy XIII Fuck yeah Jimmy. I loved XII. I spent more than 365 total days in real life playing Final Fantasy XI and that's just ridiculous. So I will at least try XIII. XIV?!? GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE. A new online Final Fantasy will come out this year too. I'm done with everything.
ModNation Racers I'm playing with the Beta now and absolutely loving it. It's a kart racer with the exact same controls of Mario Kart 64. Every race gives you that same exact feeling of fast-paced close finishes racing. Oh yeah!Read full story...

Don't be a Jimmy!
Its too easy to make a sequel worse than the original. I can only hope Bioshock 2 is better than the original Bioshock!
I love the original Bioshock. I've played through it 3 times, just recently again this summer when I fucked up the Historian achievement by missing the first two audio diaries like a Jimmy!
Two weeks ago I saw the new trailer/preview/video whatever of Bioshock 2 and it got me excited. I knew I had to share it here. I took it to a whole-notha-level! Video blowout!

Bioshock 2 will be available 2-9-10 and I can't wait. Check out these two new videos from 2K games.
Bioshock 2 launch trailer *NEW. I'm a huge fan of the first game. Played through it 3 times and just recently again last summer. Missed to of those damn voice boxes and cost me an almost perfect gamerscore. Can't wait to play this, I will be on lock down 2-9-10.
Bioshock 2 TV teaser. For some reason whatever shows I do watch on TV I never see commercials like this. So I gonna post them so everyone gets a chance to enjoy them.
Bioshock 2 Special Edition unboxing *NEW. This video is funny, watch it. It still extremely hard for me to justify the purshase of the Bioshock 2 Special Edition, but the book looks cool and if you frame ($$$) those pictures then, maybe then it would be cool.
