Something incredible has been in the works for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fans!
Revealed recently at a hands on demo, the company Bandai Namco showed off a playable version of their JoJo’s Battle Royale Arcade setups. Each arcade cabinet is modular for another cabinet to hook up to it. So you could have your very own JoJo’s Battle Royale Arcade set up for 4-30 people! Or you can fly out to Japan and play this in their arcades. The first video is gameplay uploaded from the event from YouTube Channel: Akiba-Ninja. Back to back wins! Total domination!
In the video below gameplay from the event begins and with the spectator/commentator mode you get a nice tour of what the game is like and the different characters. The fact that so much time and effort has gone into this Arcade Machine is incredible to me. I definitely see it getting a port to consoles and PC. Not because it’s JoJo’s, but because it’s a battle royale, there’s enough fanbase for that genre and then you add in JoJo’s name and it’s a no brainer.Read full story...

How much would you pay for this experience? Sony's asking an awful lot.
ON the show floor at the 2011 CES, Gouki's own FnJimmy plays Killzone 3 with the new Sharp Shooter Move gun in 3D. I put on the second pair of 3D glasses ($150 each MSRP) to see what this game could do. I've got a big head, and was wearing my glasses that day, so the active shutter glasses were not very comfortable to wear. I'd hate to have them on my head for more than 10 minutes. The 3D effect was decent, though it broke if you tilted your head. Overall, it didn't add too much to the game. I got the feeling that having it in 3D would help you aim with this accessory as you could line up your target through the reticule better. I didn't get to play the game, so I'll let Jimmy explain his feelings in the video:

GoukiJones, FnJimmy, and BatRastered got to play the multiplayer demo of Aliens Colonial Marines at E3 2012. Who's that playing as the Xenomorphs against them? Oh, that's just the Gearbox dev and test teams.
Yeah, we were a little disappointed when we were told that we wouldn't get to play as the Xenomorphs in the demo, as you can see in the video they play third person, and they have the ability to see in the dark and through walls, basically they always know where you are. The balance is achieved by the fact that they have to get close to attack, so the Xeno's are basically playing a more stealth based game while the Marines play a more traditional FPS.

We did get to play as the Marines however, and that was still fun. There are a couple of different classes to choose from (your basic shotgunner, machine-gunner, and assault rifle based classes) each with a secondary fire ability (the pulse rifle has a undermount grenade launcher for instance). You could also find powerful tools in the map, such as the smart gun that tracks alien movement while you shoot. I think that's how FnJimmy got most of his kills, how else do you explain him going 10-2 against the dev team? You can pull out the iconic motion tracker at any time but beware, this lowers your weapon and leaves you vulnerable to attack! You'll quickly learn to stay with your teammates or get singled out and die when an alien grabs you from behind. In this sense, the Marines gameplay could be compared with the L4D series more so than a Halo or CoD type game. Even better, if you pre-order the game, you can play as the Marines from Aliens (Hudson, Hicks, Apone, and Drake)... Game over man!
We only got to play Team Death Match, but we were told to expect several other modes when the game ships in February 2013. Hyped!
Finally got a beta code and got onto a server today before they all filled up. Apparently I chose the wrong job class. Good thing this is a beta TEST. Jimmy!
I played the Final Fantasy XIV beta today for 3-4 hours. So there definitely isn't a time like of an hour or two like I had read earlier this week. Unfortunately, I may have started off with the wrong job class. I choose to be an alchemist. That sounds cool right. I figured I can just get a sword or a bow and go out to fight things. I'll just weak in those areas of fighting since my main skill was alchemy. Well, my only offensive weapon I has was "throw stone."
So the plan now is to try again, this time specifically choosing disciple of war and picking an archer. I don't want to do magic right away. I really enjoy crafting, that why I choose alchemy first. That and I figured potions would be good turn over for making money. The leve system is no big deal at all, I was partied with Estrada and were doing all of his leve. Again my only issue is that I did 1 damage and would get railed by the fungi.
Final Fantasy XIV DOES run on my pc. I turned the shadows off and a few other things to see what the effects are. Didn't seem to make much of a difference. My fan was maxed out and the screen seemed to be dropping frame rates. Oh and I couldn't figure out how to play full screen.
I can tell though, even screwing up and not really doing anything for the last couple of hours in Final Fantasy XIV, I will be addicted. Without a doubt.

Pro gamer FnJimmy goes hands-on with Skyward Sword in the Nintendo booth. Watch as he destroys the first demo and has time for another.
FnJimmy and I headed to the Nintendo booth to play some Zelda Skyward Sword. You can choose the bird riding level, a dungeon level, or a boss battle. They only give you a 10 minute demo to keep the lines moving and FnJimmy had played a little bit of the combat last year, so I encouraged him to take on the bird riding.
Most of the people in front of us had tried the bird riding too, none of them seemed able to beat it in the 10 minutes allowed. Noobs... give that Wii mote to FnJimmy and watch him do his best Fred Savage from that one movie from the 80's...
Uhhh... No, the other one...
Yeah, he may be a n00b at FPS games, but FnJimmy was born with a Nintendo controller in his hand. Okay... back to reality... Watch FnJimmy rail the birds so fast he still has time to do the dungeon level. "Good job, Jimmy!"
FnJimmy had a huge grin on his face after that and wouldn't let us leave the Nintendo booth until I had recorded his takes. So here is the offical FnJimmy hands-on impressions of The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword.

E3 2011 Exclusive: Team Gouki checked out Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. While BatRastered grills the PR Jimmy, GoukiJones raips on screen. Later FnJimmy offers his take as well. Don't be a Jimmy!
Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon is a cheap game Jimmy, $40 bucks out the gate. We might have a serious deal of fun here. 3 player online co-op, 4 different suits to use and upgrade, tons of bugs and aliens to shoot and destructible environments. Developed by Vicious Cycle Software out of North Carolina, EDF could be their best game yet. Of course "could be" is the key word there since I haven't actually played the final product. I am hype.
I had fun while playing the demo. You can check out my killin' bugs and dropping buildings in the video below, while BatRastered asks as many questions as he can.
E3 2011 Exclusive Interview and Gameplay

After playing Marverl VS Capcom 3 all day long yesterday. I sit here today only wanting to play more. MvC3 is one of the most spectacular looking video games I've seen in years. The colors and effects on screen are simply amazing. Capcom, Marvel have out done themselves. Marvel VS Capcom 3 is the sequel fans have wanted for over 10 years.
The character selection is great, there's a ton of classic characters you can use like Magneto and Captain America. The new characters are strange, but I'm really glad that both companies did some reaching. For example The Dog and the Bionic Commando Jimmy from Capcom and M.O.D.O.K. and TaskMaster from the depths of Marvels character catalog. Really cool stuff.
DLC characters in the future also have tons of potential, unless Shuma and Jill are the disc. If they are on the disc we could be screwed, but if not well then that opens the door for more characters to be downloadable content. There was rumor of M. Bison being in the game, but that could have been Photoshoped right? MvC2 had over 50 characters, I expect this roster to grow too.
Something I didn't like for instance were the stages, there's only like 6-7 stages to do battle on. You can't do versus on Galactus' stage, which doesn't make sense to me. No spectator mode is a really bad idea. I think that not haveing a spectator mode turns the game into more of a party game with friends in house, other than playing online. I'm not gonna sit on a blank screen while I wait for others to fight. Why does Capcom go backwards with some of these designs. It's odd to me that you can't do versus against the computer, practicing in training mode and doing the trials will only take you so far. Although the best experience you're probably going to get is online. Get ready for that Dante, Wolverine and Deadpool match up every time. Don't be a Jimmy!

I got a chance to play Resistance 3 at Sony's E3 2011 booth, here's my take.
FnJimmy and I were waiting in line to play some Resistance 3 at Sony's booth. We thought we were going to play some multiplayer. Turns out we were playing the campaign even though they had the TVs set up side by side like the do for all their MP demos (like Uncharted and Starhawk). The Sony rep points me at the second TV in the row, lucky me, I got the one with 3D enabled. I put the goggles on over my glasses, not particularly comfortable, but not too bad until I also try to put the headphones on, now I've got three things on my ears.
Anyway the game controlled and felt like I expected, complete with the Sony R1 instead of trigger to fire that I've come to hate and expect in every exclusive PS3 game. (Seriously, WTF?)
I don't know if something was wrong with the 3D goggles (low battery?) or if all the E3 lights and flashes were interfering with the signal, but I had a bunch of cross talk, to the point that I had two reticules to aim through which obviously made targeting a bit of a trick. I wasn't sure if I should aim at the left, right, or split the difference. By the end of the demo... well I didn't stay for the end of the demo, I just quit after about 5 minutes as I did not want to spend the rest of my day at E3 with a splitting (see what I did there) headache.
Resistance seems like an above-average FPS in a market flooded with them, so I'm not super hyped about it (especially given the PS3 exclusive controls, I like my FPS on the 360). I'm totally not excited for 3D to come to my house any time soon.

Batman Arkham City is going to be amazing. Catwoman gameplay is it own unique style. I can't wait to play the full on version.
I can't say much. What can I say? This is my take right after I played Batman Arkham City at E3 2011 last Wednesday.
FNJimmy and I got a little private time with Final Fantasy XIV in 3D, with my best friend Jack Daniels.
FNJimmy and I got into the private hands on room of Final Fantasy XIV. I played it in 3D and let me just say it looks absolutely amazing. The problem with 3D gaming of course (and this isn’t the only time you’re going to hear me say this) I don’t want to have a $5000 dollar set up to play it. The glasses and 3D on screen were not abrasive at all. Although I don’t know how I would feel after playing Final Fantasy for XIV umpteen hours.
As far as the actual gameplay of Final Fantasy XIV it was just like Final Fantasy XI, I’m afraid that this game may just be a graphical update. I ran through the town and saw the shops and few NPC’s all very familiar to anyone that has played FFXI. When I got out into the field with a group to fight some enemies, again felt just like FFXI.
Final Fantasy XIV or Star Wars The Old Republic? The variables here would be release dates, friends online, monthly pricing, and system. I don’t know when either game is coming out for sure, but I’ll be giving both a try when they are released. I think my friends online are gonna be split. Whoever has the cheaper service is just gonna receive bonus points. As far as systems go, I know I’ll be starting either one on the PC so I guess that does matter. This is a video that has been circulating the net about the difference between the alpha and beta versions of Final Fantasy XIV. Hello?! WTF? When the game is actually released, we won’t be playing either version, so who cares? The graphics are nice though.

Quick there's a scruffy white dude looking at the xbox controller, send out the cute little Asian girl. Heard. goukijones literally gets a hand all over experience with the new Razer Onza controller for Xbox 360.
Seriously, everything was completely professional. I did not care for this controller at all. I don't like cords and it comes with a 15 foot cord. sad face. There is no confirmed wireless version. The two extra shoulder buttons are programable and that is a cool idea. But they are too close togther. Maybe that would take some getting used to. I was also not impressed with the d-pad. Microsoft just created the twisty d-pad, which is great. The Razer Onza has another flat surface for the d-pad. Jimmy don't like that. The highlight of the controller is the adjustable thumbsticks. I really think that will make a huge differnce in any FPS experience. Hey yo, send me a wired one for free and then maybe I'll consider buying a wireless one.
