Modders on Halo Reach. I have not seen anything like this since Halo 2. The Jimmy is jumping super high and killing us with 1 shot, using the AR. Running super fast and jumping the length of the map. Edited for time.

Last week Bungie banned like 15,000 Jimmys. Hackers, boosters, modders, alleged cheaters. Whatever, Bungie is on top of the situation. I was just having a conversation with BatRastered this afternoon, that Bungie was doing an excellent job Banning the cheaters. The Banhammer has come down twice since launch and soon will become self aware, like Skynet.

Borderlands 2 Pro-Tip: How to glitch and beat Pete the Invincible

By: Arthvader Jan 20, 2013 | 4 Comments | Updated: Jan 21, 2013

Goukijones, Batrasterd, and I take on Pete the Invincible using a glitch to our advantage.

On Wednesday, January 16, Goukijones, Batrasterd, and I went and took on the raid boss of Mr. Tourge's Campaign of Carnage, Pete the Invincible. During the course of this particular fight, though, we ended up getting Pete into a spot where he essentially got stuck, allowing us to defeat him without much issue.

Killzone 3 changes the industry. Here's a look at a few high profile gun peripherals for the Sony Playstation Move. The official Sony Sharpshooter and the CTA Assault rifle. Play an FPS like never before.

There are a few excellent options if you want to use your PlayStation 3 Move controller and play an FPS like you have never played before. Killzone 3 has gun peripherals galore. We got to try one out recently at CES and FnJimmy really liked it. From what I observed, I like what I saw and would definitely give it a try. Sony has a quality product here with the Move FPS.

The peripheral we got hands-on with at CES was the official Sony PlayStation Move SharpShooter.

Our first look at how to build out the Borderlands 2 classes starts off with Maya, the Siren. Let's see how her 3 skill trees work.

Let's start off with my least favorite tree, Harmony (the center tree). Here's a link to the build if you want to follow along.

I really don't like the "Scorn" cap on this tree, as you can see at the end of the video, it's very easy to hit yourself with it. Some of the other skills like the "Res" game changer in the middle of the tree, are only useful in co-op, so you'd likely want to re-spec if you ever played solo and put that point to better use somewhere else in the tree. In a full team of 4, and with a good Heavenly Nurse class mod, this build can greatly improve the survivability of everyone in the group. In fact, you should probably move the 5 points in recompense into Elated if you have 3 or more players as it will be less about your survival and more about the health of the group as a whole.

Yakuza 4 just got way more interesting. This story was originally for a new video from Sega about the Hostess Clubs in the game. It's turned into a monster about these beautiful Japanese girls, who are the stars of Yakuza 4 Hostess Clubs.

I saw this video this morning on YouTube and of course Japanese girls catch my attention in real life and virtually. So I have to check it out. First of all, the Yakuza game series is one I have yet to experience. I don't know why, maybe just never had the right feeling for it. The new version is looking more and more interesting to me. And not just because I can now go hang out in a Authentic -albeit virtual- Japanese Hostess Club. Yakuza 4 is seriously trying to be a Japanese style GTA.

This first video is from the American Sega YouTube channel.

Brink is a highly anticipated shooter. Made by some crazy English chaps that love to do what they do. Brink is going to set a new standard for shooters when it's released sometime this year. Also Exclusive DLC information, where you purchase matters.

It's been 6 Months since the last developer diary from Splash Damage. Don't worry about that. It's time to get a lesson on Sonic Space. Something that the developers are taking very serious over at Splash Damage. This type of attention to detail and dedication really gets me hype to see what comes next with Brink.

BRINK DEVELOPER DIARY #5 - CHRIS SWEETMAN was just released today. Chris Sweetman is the Audio Diretor at Splash Damage. Chris also did sound design on the BLACK video game. In his latest blog he talks about Sonic Space and what it means for Brink.

"We wanted every sound in Brink to be heard perfectly, whether it was a Molotov cocktail exploding, a mini gun winding up, or a heavy body-type player coming round the corner to stomp on your face." Chris says in the blog.

How to score the "Tribute to a Vault Hunter" achievement and get some cool loot in the process.

Michael Mamaril was a huge Borderlands fan who passed away before BL2 was released. The guys at Gearbox have immortalized him in game, you can get an achievement for finding him, and better yet, he'll give you a free gun of blue (or better) quality every time you see him.

On the consoles, he shows up 100% of the time before the story mission "Rising Action" and only about 10% of the time after that mission starts. On PC it is apparently 10% all the time.

Here's video of us finding him after "Rising Action" at Scooter's (this contains a small story spoiler if you haven't played that mission yet):

And again, this time at Moxxi's:

When he does spawn, he will randomly be in one of a handful of locations, here's where you can find him.

 • Near the newsstand in the center of town
 • In an alley down the street from the front entrance to Moxxi's
 • Inside Moxxi's, near the bar
 • Inside Moxxi's, near the piano
 • In Marcus' weapons shop
 • Near Claptrap's locker up some steps
 • Inside Scooter's garage, under the stairs
 • Inside Crimson Raider headquarters next to the stairs
 • Inside Zed's clinic
 • To the left of the door to Crazy Earl's Black Market

He's easily identifiable from both the guns strapped to his back and the fact that his name shows over his head instead of "sanctuary citizen".

Once you've got an item from him, he won't give you another until you either save and reload or leave town and come back. It's a great way to get some mid-level gear before the "Rising Action" mission, where the action really picks up and those guns will come in handy.

Have you ever wondered if the top ranked player on the Xbox Live Leaderboard for Super Street Fighter 4 was legit? Well I've always suspected cheating, and now there is video proof. Check it out!

I'm a huge fan of Super Street Fighter 4. It is one of the most well balanced fighting games to date. No character (maybe Hakan) is worthless in this game. Which is why I play it so much, and never get tired of it. I've checked out the leaderboards before to find replays of some of the best players in the world. Players such as Diago, Gamerbee, Gootecks, Mike Ross, Justin Wong, Sako, Marn, Tokido, and YHC Mochi among others. But I've always noticed a few players with exceptionally high PP, over 7k to be precise. Anyway aMasahitolkeda6 has been exposed for cheating (boosting) PP to become number 1 on the leaderboard.

Now why would you upload your replays to the SSF4 channel if you've been cheating? Sad really. Check it out!

Don't be a Jimmy like aMasahitolkeda6!

Street Fighter on the 3DS, New Super Street Fighter IV DLC, Darkstalkers IV teased, More SSF4 characters to come? AND STREET FIGHTER X TEKKEN!!

Outside while we waited in line we were so lucky to be entertained by some bad ass Street Fighter Cosplay.

Juri and Chun Li cosplay

And check out this Gouki!!

FNJimmy as Gouki SDCC 2010 Capcom booth

Here's how I remember it ... Ono-chin got right into talking about the new DLC for Super Street Fighter IV which is just new/old costumes. For example the Chun Li Alpha sweat pants are back. Blanka has some seriously ridiculous looking shit on. You can find better pictures on the net, but this is a picture I took.

Super Street Fighter IV DLC

I may recall things out of order. At one point Ono-chin teases about Darkstalkers again. He asks everyone to pull out some money and hold it up in the air. He took a picture and told everyone that he was going to show it to the head Jimmys in charge back in Japan. "See people are ready to pay for Darkstalkers." He joked. I hope you follow Ono-chin on twitter he has one of the best accounts. @yoshi_onochin

Then there was talk of the Super Street Fighter IV 3DS version. Which looks amazing and I won't play. There isn't much for me to comment on here. What about the Super Street Fighter IV arcade release? I don't know who is saying what and what we are exactly talking about on stage, because I know like two words in Japanese so I think I can speak it. What am I talking about here ... I believe that Ono-chin was hinting that  NEW characters will be in the arcade release. Which if this is true, it only means that another inevitable Street Fighter IV will be coming to the home consoles sometime. It's inevitable.

One of the characters already announced is Birdie. j/k

Then on the screen in front of the room the words "Here comes a new challenger!" pops up and the lights go out.

Then from out of nowhere a crazy man in the back of the room is screaming in Japanese. Throwing copies of Tekken 6 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 across the room. Aiming for Jimmys dressed in Street Fighter costumes. The lights come on and my eyes jump over to the goofy white guy who starts translating the Japanese. Oh it's Harada, the Tekken Jimmy and his translator that pronounced EVO "EV-VO" Nubfarm!

Ono-chin VS Harada

So yes, Ono and Harada are good friends. Their shenanigans went on for over 45 minutes at EVO earlier this month. They are both very theatrical as well. They both dressed the same with the robes although Ono claimed he just woke up late. I don't know what these crazy Japanese guys are up to. They do make incredible games. And then Ono-chin announced Street Fighter X Tekken. Yes "X!" It means cross, I think. He continued to blow everybody's mind and said he had a playable copy of Street Fighter X Tekken. Just watch my video below. Prepare to be amazed.

Did you notice RYU almost has an expression like "C'mon really?" When he sees Kazuya. Kazuya makes a face too, but RYU thinks this is a joke. The graphics are beautiful and the tag partner element is always a crazy gameplay design. Ono insisted that this was a live play, but I'm just saying it could have been a video. As set up as everything was there were still on stage. Either way we won't be seeing this game probably for a couple of years. Expect the next serious update E3 2010 E3 2011. Now play me in Super Street Fighter IV!!

Exclusive Gameplay footage and interview. Gouki.com wanted to tell THQ everything about what we do with SmackDown VS Raw 2011. We've got a helluva story to tell from inside the THQ booth at E3 2011 with Dev Talk about WWE '12.

Anybody that has checked out Gouki.com certainly knows we are big fans of SmackDown VS Raw and just huge wrestling fans over all. We've successfully recreated each WWE Pay-Per-View since Survivor Series 2010 with WWE SmackDown VS Raw 2011. We have simulated over 60 matches, something we refer to as the Madden Bowl of wrestling. We film the matches before the PPV and both wrestlers are AI controlled. We have downloaded, created and edited over 100 Superstars and Divas in the game.

We know what want in WWE '12 to make that aspect of the game for us even more enjoyable. Personally I say, watching the simulated matches are sometimes just as good as watching the actual live match.

Here's what happened. I had just finished my Konami "Booth Tour" with some Canadian chick with a bunch of FAQ sheets. More on that in another story. I believe BatRastered and FnJimmy we finishing up watching Aliens. I stormed the THQ booth looking to meet people I knew actually did shit there. Neal Pabon, I talked to that guy, what up to him. The press/media counter don't give a shit about nobody without an appointment. There were no goodies and the lady gave me a business card with an FTP for their media kit, when I had just saw her hand some Jimmy the full on disc version press kit.

I stumbled back over to the WWE '12 wall to see if BatRastered and FnJimmy had arrived yet. I took a drink out the flask while less people were looking and just started to play WWE '12. The first guy that came up to me didn't seem to know much of the game. When I told him what we did with it, he didn't seem to understand or maybe he didn't care. I fucked off and tried to talk to more Jimmys in suits. I couldn't find the nuab who I suspect does the Twitter account. He's given me a few shout outs and I just wanted to say thanks. No success.

Back to the WWE '12 section where I scouted out the other possible dev working the section. At E3 you really have to dig deep and ask questions, most of the time you could just be playing with a random PR guy hired that week to demo a product for you based on a script. I definitely did not want that to happen with WWE'12, I wanted to talk to somebody seriously and share my experiences with the game and offer 1 or 2 of my 100 plus suggestions. That's when I met Jason Vandiver, his business card is official and it says Designer on it.

Jason knew what was up with the game and understood what we did with it.
I may say things that I wasn't supposed to talk about. I hope Jason doesn't get in trouble.
Jason told me that there would be 2 new create a "Something." I know, not much to go on. SDvR2011 already has a lot of create a "something." FnJimmy says it could be the create a belt. I disagree, I believe one will be something like create a show. My thought is I would love to just program 6-7 matches in a row and then just watch them as the AI played it out. You can kinda set that up now, but an easier way is needed. Create a backstage promo or something, I don't know man, the game does a lot already.

Then we played a match, I chose Albero Del Rio and he drove out on stage in a fancy car. Just like the Eddie Guerrero intro FnJimmy has attached to him in our simulations. It all looked great. Jason chose Randy Orton. I don't know how to play the game and I don't know if he thought I was full of shit at this point, but I had no clue what to do with the actual controller. I just watch this game. So he beat the shit out of me and showed me one of the coolest new features.

Super wake ups. A super wake up for example is when your oppenet is on the ground, but needs to be standing for you to do your finisher. Jason leans forward and shouts "Watch this!" The game cuts away into a taunt animation and Randy Orton slams to the ground and throws his little temper tantrum. AlBerto Del Rio who is still knocked out cold in the center of the ring, shoots to his feet and Randy Orton stands up and RKO's him. Awesome. Very smooth, going to make the end of matches way more exciting.

Jason wasn't done, he picks Alberto Del Rio up again and starts beating on him and building his super bar again. This time he showed me Randy Orton's punt. I said "Something that I'd like to see is that when you select end a match with a finisher that the AI still pins, like in WWE All Stars." Jason said not to worry that was added.

BatRastered and FnJimmy finally had arrived. I pulled FnJimmy to the side and had him play the game while I filmed this off screen footage. Now THQ probably don't want me to play this, but I don't have any other gameplay footage. Both press kits I checked only had the live action Randy Orton trailer. You can see Vintage SDvR2011 AI in this clip where Randy Orton sets up Alberto Del Rio for an announcer table smash, but the Randy Orton can't grab on to do the move and, you know what, I'm not even sure which one FnJimmy was controlling. Just watch the clip.

You can hear the guy at the end of the video offer me some HD footage on a disc, it wasn't there sorry brotha. Send me some and I want another interview. Thanks.

After that part we busted out the official Gouki.com microphone and FnJimmy did his first ever official interview. With himself. Check it out.

We wrapped it up and got four amazing contacts. We love this game franchise, SDvR series is a game that makes sense to come out every year.
Thanks to Jason
Thanks to Narbeh
Thanks to Cory Ledesma
Thanks to Neal Pabon and thanks to everybody at THQ.

Leave your comments below Jimmys. Thanks for reading and watching Gouki.com!
