Assassin's Creed 3 Tyranny of King Washington Part 2 Betrayal DLC Launch Trailer has been released today. Check it out!

The latest DLC for Assassin's Creed 3 is out today for $10 or free with your season pass. Connor gets new powers and continues his fight against King Washington.

I don't know how I feel about all this DLC coming out for AC 3 when Ubisoft is showing AC 4: Black Flag TV commercials. It just seems odd that they are wanting me to pre order AC 4 when 3 isn't complete yet. As for the content itself I think it's pretty cool seeing what things would be like if Washington turned evil.

Have you played Assassin's Creed 3? How do you feel about Single Player DLC being drip fed to you in parts? What about the price? Tell us what you think in the comments. Don't be a Jimmy!

X-Men Destiny - Trailer Comic Con 2011

By: blazemanx Jul 22, 2011 | 5 Comments

The newest trailer for the upcoming x-men title.

I recently saw some gameplay from x-men destiny and its looking pretty sweet. Originally i thought this was going to be like x-men legends/ MUA but i was wrong. You seem to only control one character at a time. I wonder if this is one big story with a few characters to choose from or if each of these new character will have their own story? This game drops at the end of september will you be picking it up?

Check out the pictures from Caffeine Chaos. Thanks to everyone for coming out to play. Thank you to all the spectators & to all of our sponsors. Holley's Cuppa, FSW, A Gamer's Paradise, WB Games, Capcom & Hit Box!

Thank you.

I edited down just a little bit. Good luck understanding what any of the Final Fantasy XIII characters are talking about, the entire game is like this. The combat shows my strategy against Cid Raines.

Cid Raines beat the shit out of me for three days. It sucks that if the party leader dies, it's game over. I hate that about Final Fantasy XIII. I finally figured out how to beat him and I captured it. So I hope you enjoy. I editing the story a little to avoid spoilers and hopefully make a little more entertaining for you.

Kevin Butler Teaches us the S.H.A.F.T Method

By: iorilamia Mar 19, 2011 | 3 Comments

Kevin Butlers douchebaggery a.k.a being awesome in comercials prevails again.

I'm not a fan of baseball or baseball games. But the recent K.But ( awesome nickname) comercials for MLB 11 are hilarious. He walks us thru how to be better at trash talking by using his " S.H.A.F.T" method. Theres a bunch of videos so I'll post a few here, check the others out on his youtube.

Crackdown 2 Preview

By: goukijones Oct 4, 2009 | 5 Comments

WTF is this? Oh yes Jimmy. This IS a sequel.

Ok so some of you may not remember, but I do. A few years ago a game came out called Crackdown. The only reason why anyone even played or heard of this game was to get their hands a the Halo 3 beta which was included on every disc.

Crackdown wasn't the greatest game ever made, actually it was pretty bad. Very simple minded stuff, run around, climb buildings, shoot anything that's shooting at you. There was some minor leveling up, but nothing to get super excited about. I played, a few times ... waiting for the Halo 3 Beta to be made available.

Now it's time for Crackdown 2! I'm sure somewhere very few Jimmys are thrilled to death to hear this news. I was a little, until I saw the pictures that looked like Crackdown 1. WTF? Zombies?! WTF?! Enough with the fuckin' zombies in every game. Anyway, just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Check out these screens and video below.

This is a cut scene I'm sure ...

Uh-oh starting to look Crackdown 1 ...

Okay, this is the same game.

What game were you fist addicted to?

By: iorilamia Jan 15, 2011 | 8 Comments

"ILL EAT DINNER LATER!"

-This is a long summary on how I was addicting to animal crossing and why-

I always game in my free time now, but I was trying to think back to when a game first grasped me and locked me within its world. I gamed pretty casually until the Sims came out in 2000 and I was 8. But the addiction quikly ended when people started dying and they kept releasing expansions. Shortly after that the game that made me forget about the real world for hours and hours on end for about a year or two was Animal Crossing in 2001. Theirs nothing out of the ordinary about the game besides everyone you meet are animals. You have a house, you buy shit for it, make paintings to put outside grow plants, catch fish and interact with neighbors. What made this game so beyond addicting was the upkeep. If your house was dirty, roaches would appear and you would get less FuenShui points from these people that review houses and give out awards. Those beautiful plants in my lawn would die if I dont take care of them and weeds go apeshit if you dont take care of those either. The game had a store run by a man named Tom Nook. Buy seeds to grow trees or a new bed to go along with the chair you found down by the stream. What took even more time, was relationships. You live in a decent sized town with a bunch of neighbors, you basically trade, talk and befriend them, they can help you in a time of need. But if you don't send people birthday cards or visit once in a while, they get emo or rage and leave town, then a whole new animal comes in, with a whole new prsonality. The game not only took place in real time, but it had real events! If it was New Years Eve and you were playing Animal Crossing at midnight, the towns people and The Mayor gathered around the fountain and lit fireworks and celebrated, After opening my christmas presents IRL, pop in animal crossing to see what Cindy the Pig gave me, oh cool its a shitty shirt, just like IRL. Every major holiday had shit going on, also the game had expansion. Your shitty 1 room house could become  2 floors and a basement, also the shit you catch fill up the museum and the General Store you bought from became a supermarket. I guess the real time element + interactions with people is how I wasted so much time on this game, basically living in a shitty nintendo virtual world running errands for people and stuff ust trying to get ahead in some way really made the time fly. I've missed dinners and shit over animal crossing, just playing it when I got home until i fell asleep. It sounds lame when I look back on it, but many of children have had the same experience. And when the new animal crossing was released on the Wii, i did not get it for one simple reason, I wasn;t going to put in THAT MUCH TIME for kinda nothing, except it had voice chat and online play, that was the most tempting shit ever, to interact with REAL people, but then again I would waste even more time. I'm going to stop here because I don't think anyone wants to read 4 pages worth of ridiculous time spent playing animal crossing and experinces.

So what was the first game(s) that you REALLY got addicted to , why, and would you play it again? Leave a comment below.

What characters would you like to see return to a series?

By: iorilamia Feb 7, 2011 | 13 Comments

What characters do you wish would come back to a game series? Did one of your favorites get killed off, did the story change completely, or did they just stop putting that character in games?

First I'd like to start off with Geese" DOUBLE REPPUKEN" Howard. He hasn't been in a new snk game for years.

The mans a badass to say the least. He is from FatalFury and his attitude and fighting style are what makes me miss him the most. The version of Geese that I want returning, is one similiar to the CvS2 style. If you are not familiar with Geese, basically he had Gouken counters, air fireballs that push him backwards, and ground fireballs. He had incredibly strong normals and his super "RAGING STORM!!!!" is the best anti air ever. Besides his yelling, what made him so cool was he taunted you when he throws you and basically tells you your going to die before the round starts; "you cannot escape long death...." I would have loved to see him in kof12 (a long with 30 other characters, lol) and he wasn't included in 13 (doubt they will have DLC). Here to hoping SNKP use him in something. Heres a video demonstrating some basic combos with N-groove. Uplaoded by http://www.youtube.com/user/6248p

Second Character is Karas! The armored swordsman of Tatsunoko.

Karas was a popular anime and manga before his appearance in Tatsunoko vs Capcom. He is on my wishlist because even though TvC was an AMAZING game (and will always be one of my favorite vs games), it did not get really big, mainly because it was wii only and Americans don't know wtf Tatsunoko is. With MvC3 coming I don't think we wil see a tvc2 anytime soon...or ever. Karas was one of the lowest hp characters (next to Zero and roll) but his playstyle was beast. He has great offensive slashes with nice reach and quick jabs that allow him to combo into huge setups. His reflect projectile move and assist also could be used as an attack into his super combo. He had a counter super, one that rushes, and one that turns him into a flying disc, all of these perfectly transported from the anime to the game. What made karas unique was his chain attack, his srk and a dash atack that could lead into combos. His uppercut attack was not only extremely fast, but it could be done twice and went straight up very high. His chain could be used long range to hold enemies for assist mixups and supers, or to pull them towards him leaving them helpless. Despite him being "bottom tier"  because he got super nerfed in American version,I felt that if you used him right, he was unstoppable! Heres a short basic combo video for those of you that are unfamiliar.

Finally is the Zora people, from Legend of Zelda.

They where Fish people that played guitars made out of fish bones ; epic. You first encounter them in Ocarina of time, but Majoras Mask is where the real fun starts. Once you get the Zora mask, you become one of them and get to explore their world. It was just good fun. The outside world was big and interesting enough, but being able to swim to  new places was even more exciting. Obviously the new Zelda game coming out for Wii ins't having some sort of transforming link (that we know of), but as long as we get to interact with the Zora and travel to their world, I'm happy.Video of Zora link doing quests and stuff, uplaoded by http://www.youtube.com/user/SonicBlueSky

So what characters would you guys love to see return? Have you played these games/characters? Leave a comment below.

Decent amount of new footage in this new trailer.

Have a look at the madness Wonderland has in store....

Uploaded by http://www.youtube.com/user/EA

A bit disturbing, as it sould be. Madness Returns is slowly shaping up the closer it is towards release. Still looks like an excellent rental. As a reminder, if you buy the game you also get the original with it. Anyone still have their eyes on this?

Halo 5: Guardians announced, coming 2015

By: BatRastered May 16, 2014 | 0 Comments

It's finally time for a next-gen Halo

Microsoft today announced that a next-generation Halo game is on the way, but  not this year.

I’m happy to reveal that “Halo 5: Guardians,” the next installment in the legendary saga of the Master Chief, will launch on Xbox One in fall of 2015.  In the tradition of every “Halo” game since its debut in 2001, it is a massive and exciting project.

There will be some news coming at E3 regarding what will happen this year in the Halo universe. We're still betting on a Halo 2 anniverserary HD remake super special edition.
