Today PS3 players in North America and European areas can download the latest game update for Fallout: New Vegas. "Update 1.02" . This update will be available on Xbox 360 and Steam early next week.
Companions now show up as waypoints on the map
Companions will always fast travel with you, unless told to wait or sent away
Fix: DLC error/save corruption
Fix: Entering the strip after Debt Collector causes crash and autosave corruption
Fix: Using Mojave Express dropbox can cause DLC warnings
Crafting menu now filters valid (bright) recipes to the top of the list
Weathered pistol no longer glitches when applying mods

Bulletstorm doesn't suck so much afterall! DLC announced and it is sounding gooooood.
First off, theirs already day 1 dlc which is called Standard Online Pass for $9.99/800 MSP, it gives you 6 bonus Echo levels (we ended up getting this a long with pre-order bonus ;D )
Screw Echo thats lame, the fun comes this SPRING! With the Gun Sonata pack for the same price. This DLC pack comes with much more though.
THREE new maps for Anarchy multiplayer mode, Sewers of Stygia, Hotel Elysium, and the Villa.
Two new Echo maps, Crash Site and Guns of Stygia (mehhhhh, gonna be a while before I could give a damn about this game-mode)
And two new Leash colors, Flamingo and Pulp. I'm guessing pink and orange? PINK LEASH SOUNDS AWESOME! Maybe they will have a different function aswell. (customizing your characters clothes a long with gun and leash are actually a nice touch in multiplayer)
Once again, this pack will be released this Spring for 800 msp/$9.99 on XBL and PSN.

We got news of 12 new characters for UMVC3 and videos of 4...could this leak of the last 8 be real?
Strider, Firebrand, Ghost Rider, and Hawkeye have been legitimately announced for UMVC3. Those are the 4 of the 12 new characters. apparently on the Capcom website there was an accidental leak of the last 8 fighters. I'm a bit skeptical because some do look like MVC3 art, but still a bit off and akward. Have a look at Doctor Strange, Frank West, Iron Fist, Nemesis, Nova, Phoenix Wright, Rocket Raccoon and Vergil.
I can see all of these characters fitting well in the MVC3 world (Phoenix is a bit akward, but If Frank West can do it in TvC, anyone can!) Not too much of a RE fan, but Nemisis seemingly would be a fun character to play. Iron Fist is a total badass and would be a great addition too. What do you guys think? Any characters on here you wanted in or think should be booted off?
Short but sweet.
The game looks just like the promotional YouTube videos, theirs blood and limbs everywhere! The feel of the game runs smoothly and killshots are...basically everything. Doing random shit and getting points and cool names for it is amusing. I found myself getting "Voodo Doll" majority of the time by randomly using the Leash. The leash is a nobrainer really, you can turn the corner, randomly use it homes to nearest opponent. Its charged versions does a AOE gravity thing and everyone flies up in slomo, good shit. In the end, I thought about the full game. I am a multiplayer oriented person and I accepted the fact of no PVP, the game will be extremely fun co-op but...the skill shots are what intrigues you the most and doing cool shit, it might get annoying playing online and getting kill stolen when your trying to pull off something beastly.Got home, downloaded the demo and played it right away. Honestly, I am impressed. The demo is short and a little bit linear, but its full of fun. It's you the chick and the cyborg black dude running around killing stuff. There is a good amount of enemies and the NPC on your team don't really seem to kill steal you during the demo, good shit. You run around this weird planet/spacehip and encounter mutant dudes. 5 weapons are available. The Peacemaker Carbine, Flail Gun, Leash, a minigun you can pick up and fling shot. The Carbine works like you thought it would, pretty bread and butter automatic rifle. It (like every other weapon) has a charge version that basically shoots out a beast shot that guarantees a kill on the enemy. The flail gun is a pistol but in its charge version it is like a Flare Gun and the fling shot wraps around enemies, the charge versions has bombs around it that blow them up.

Grahpics- top fucking notch, the game runs and looks beautifully.
Gameplay-perfect. Controls are easy and mapped well, after you kill like 2 enemies you got it. Npc's were super dumb, but its a demo, they should be. and they can take a hit, if you have bad aim and spam shots at someone, good chance they will get up, and that I really like.
Demo Presentation- Short but really made me want more. You get a good variety of weapons and a real feel of the game as you run around this...weird broken down world/ship?
In the end, I'm gonna end of buying the game, already had it pre-ordered ;D Buy it!
The demo also had some extra goodies. It shows you your friends scores on a leader board and you can also check the whole leader board but, there were some pre-order bonuses also.
After beating the demo it tells you congrats for beating it, and you unlock Boots and Armor and something different about the Leash for when you buy the full game...that's like half of the pre-order deal (especially for us PS3 users T_T). But all in all it was fun as hell, hope you guys play it too and write about what you thought....unless your playing Dead Space 2, have fun ;)

The developers blog recently put out the last information for AE changes and people have been kind enough to trasnlate. I wanted to know how you guys felt about the changes made to your characters, your best matchups, worst?

Anyways I'll start with my mains juri and ken.
Ken- Wasn't expecting less recovery time on those normals, thats fucking amazing, they already seemed to link well, now combos are ridiculous. im half-half on LP srk, it will do 20 more dmg now, but 2 more frames of recovery? is that on ryu's lvl? the lp srk works against so many moves, those 2 frames will have a big difference. also i consider the ex tatsu blocked low as a buff. it causes more room for mixup(throw, normals, srk?) and chip damage.
Juri- thank god for the faster walk speed, pressure with stored fireballs will be better now, and the fixed hitbox on her FA, that thing would miss on some stupid occasions. fireball kick knowcks them into the air, so you can fireball, pinwheel or maybe ridiculous FSE combo, but the stun and dmg nerf on the kick is depressing, it has alot of stun and decent dmg/chip, but the buffs outweight that.
Guile- only problem i had was making his u2 slower? you can srk that bitch without taking dmg if your close enough.
fuerte- didnt need to be nerfed that bad, yea he can win by retarted random mixups that have some invincibility, but really lame tactics can take him out.
bison- "OFFICIAL BIP-SON PRESSURE" scissorkick nerf/buff? cant be spamming the lk press as much but you can push them in faster?
deejay- he needed all of those buffs. good deejays in high lvl play do so much, for little damage or get screwed in reversals. also dash commands suck.
ibuki- i dont care if her kunais can be deflected by normals, they dont need a dmg buff, they are annoying as fuck...
Mr. Fei long - already had a hard time with pro fei's, majority of his normals being buffed with startup and frame changes, hot damn. like, some feis can beast people only with normals, now its even rape-e-er?
hakan, gouken and makoto- honestly didnt think they sucked, people good with them are fucking beastly. makoto has mixups and great panic pressure. hakan has more air and ground priority than people think, and limited but succesful mindgames. gouken...goddamit he is fine! all the buffs on his normals and tatsu is the scariest shit ever, along with lp running palm combo buff? their buffs are leaving this characters rape-tier.
gief- i see the ex green hand NO knockdown as a great mixup oppurnnity. yet some people rather have the knockdown because of zangiefs weird hitbox when he does his airel crossups.
sagat- didnt need more buffs, he was FINE! yet changing the input for the scar is alright, messy inputs suck.
blanka- beast slide less active frames? thank you, so damn annoying.
honda- NEEDED dmg nerf and less invinciblity on his ex headbutt. hondas counter hits on ex moves and fierces canseirously take off like 40% in 3 hits. screw that.
abel-removing armor on U2 and slower staryup AND dmg reduction? its an annoying ultra but it didnt deserve that nerf, plus if your smart you wont get hit by it.
Playstation Network has been offline for about 2 weeks and that simply sucks. See how it has affected my play-styles and view of offline gaming. What have you been doing with your PS3 the last two weeks?
Oh How I should have traded it in for a PRAYstation while I had the chance; joking. PSN has been down a while as all of you may know, and it sucks. Right before PSN went down, I bought PS cards to download ArcanaHeart 3, MoonDiver dlc pack 1, and Steel Rain Map Pack for Killzone3. What has really bummed me out was the ArcanaHeart part , no rhyme intended. Could have been learning a new game while PSN was offline. Whch leads me too the off-line gaming I've been doing ever since.
Been buying Odin's Beer offline in Marvel Vs.Capcom 3. For the first time, I've been using training mode as a vs. match (taking away health regenerations and treating it like a real match). Most people I know have been busy with finals week, so not being able to get together to play and not have the option to play online is a double whammy. Playing certain CPU teams on highest difficulty over and over again has made me realize a few things. Fist, I am impatient and screw up pretty badly when people have great defense ; do some unsafe stuff. Second, I don't push block physical attacks at the right situation too often and last, CPU's have the stupidest (and by stupid I mean amazingly beastly) hit-confirms ever. But why does this matter? CPUs aren't as good as high level people that i for sure, but it has definitely stepped up by game. Knowing one mistake leads into a ridiculous combo that won't be missed and will most likely be maximized, knowing as soon as I press a button the game reads it and reacts ridiculously fast to what I do has definitely made me improve.
Bulletstorm....hooooooooly sh*t I put you in my PS3 again?! Yea, even though MVC3 has taken up most of my offline time, I played a little Echo Mode. Echo was the "multiplayer" game mode where you play parts of the single player and post your highscore on leaderboards. So basically it is only part of a full level, and no cutscenes ; lame. But I didn't care to go through the story again and this was actually fun. Just nonsense violence and remembering how fun it was when i first got the game, messing around with Skillshots. I just had to take a break from the game after how disappointed it made me, and come back to it realizing how much i enjoyed it ; like a bad spouse. The best part was the ultimate eyegazm of the game. When i first bought it, and played on my supr old half-assed TV, I was blown away by the graphics. Last week I got my first HDMI tv with the HD cables... Breathetaking.
Even though I've been obsessed with MVC3 on/offline, I still love SSF4. But the CPU in ssf4 isn't nearly as annoying in Marvel, or good. This lead to me being incredibly bummed out, because the SSF4 players I know work when I am off work, good stuff. Luckily for me, Arcade Edition recently game to Maui (FINALLY!!!!) It was incredibly fun; not really. Was nice seeing first hand how my characters changed and how the new ones felt, but I am a pad player for ssf4. And the only stick I can kind of play on it is the mvc3 from gouki.com ;)

But the arcade parts we received are complete ass. Instead of a ball-type stick, it's the long joystick type and the buttons are old-crappy re-used ones from the old SF4 machine (or so it seems). In all AE was cool, got to play with a friend who was beasting with E.Ryu but I don't like paying $1 a game on a uncomfortable layout.
I was so bored at one point, I played with one character at a time on Moon Diver, slowly leveling them up (so much faster online). Luckily for me, one night some friends weren't busy, and we hardcore grinded out some Moon Diving. Been a while since we had the chance and simply was loads of fun. Lots of yelling "OH DUDE" and" shi....NOOOOOO" . Plenty of hype over hack n slash craziness. but even with all the levels we gained, still couldn't beat that stupid Firebird boss....
Last but not least...AMMMMMERRRRRIIIICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Red Dead Redemption was another game whos graphics blew me away on my old crap TV. That being said you already know I had a second eyegazm on my new one. Besides that, I went back to Undead Nightmare and tried to make it a bit more challenging. The first time I played through it it felt way too easy after the first few towns are cleared. So this time I only used the first pistol and a shotgun, and walked into the largest hordes of zombies I can find, seeing how long I can last with carefully aimed shots and barrel rolls. It didn't keep my interest for long but was pretty fun anyway.
For the most part, that concludes my adventures as I get deeper into my finals in school . Also http://blog.us.playstation.com/ said some services will be up this week, seeing that it's Thursday I really hope that PSN will be up before Saturday. I am big on online gaming ever since I got my PS3. I used to play gamecube, and when I got a Wii I rarely went online because of how bad it was. So I used to appreciate off-line gaming then, but when I got a PS3 that changed. I can see how I've been spoiled by always wanting to play other people, and how that is a needed experience for me. PSN being down does suck, but it allowed me to enjoy some simplicities of offline that I've been ignoring. Hope you enjoyed reading about my experiences, have anything similar? The first week of MVC3, I settled into a team of x-23, Magneto and Morrigan. Without knowing it, the team worked well in Unison. In the past couple of months I've switched out Morrigan for Wesker. Both characters have their own uses for the team.
First off, I'll go through how all the team members work out with each other and basic strengths, then I'll go into the Morrigan or Wesker comparison for who is overall better. I won't go into detail with combos, this is just a basic overview.
X-23 usually goes as my starting character. Fast rush down and multi-hit attacks work great in the start.
- Decent ground combo, air combo, then Wesker low assist on ground into Weapon X-Prime leaves the opponent in a spinning state. DHC-ing into Wesker's Rhino Charge resets the damage. After Rhino charge do low shot, crouching combo into launch combo. Using these 2 bars is enough to kill Sentinel (I use him a an example because of how annoying he is) and most characters in the game. Tanks like Hulk and Thor are left with a quarter health. She can use the same technique and DHC glitch into Mag's Tempest.
- During her combos, she has high mix-ups with H Mirage Feint. Calling Wesker low assist during these causes an un-block-able when timed correctly.
- Using Magneto's Disrupter assist to cover your M Mirage Feint can cross up opponents and ultimately helps you get in very fast.
- X-23's BnB combos ending with her Rage Trigger Super do great damage and are easy to score. Morrigans meter building assist a long with the amount of Meter both x-23 and Magneto build in their long combos, makes 5 meters extremely easy to get.
- She can also DHC her lvl 1's into Any of Weskers supers, Magnetos (Tempest only upon X-Prime) and all of Morrigan's.
Magneto is usually my second (sometimes first). His keep away game is good and his air-combos are amazing.
- Both Wesker and X-23 help magneto create tricky blocking situations and un-block-ables. While someone is blocking his low combo, he can call Wesker or X-23 low assist, and go into flight mode for an instant overhead.
- Another great tool for the low assist is doing ridiculous Magneto combos. Basic low combo into air combo, upon spiking them down, call one of the low assist and hyper grab, you can link this into super or relauch for another air combo, spike down, and do the same with the second assist. With enough meter, I usually end this with lvl 3. The hyper grab with these assist also allows a free snapback.
- With DHC'S, both of Mag's lvl 1's link with 23's lvl 1's, and Wesker's Phantom Dance AND his lvl 3! He can also DHC into Morrigan with full damage (if close enough). And anything can be DHC'd into gravity squeezes.
- Alone Magneto is a beast because of his flight cancel combos, L Disrupter and mobility.
Morrigan I feel has the strongest comeback factor (but lowest damage) and is usually last.
- Morrigan is last for her strong ability to put on high-low mix up pressure. Her Clone super a long with x-factor can be extremely confusing for people to deal with.
- While Morrigan does her multi hit high S attack, you can immediately start attacking low. If they are blocking low, I can call x-23 low assist and then air S while x23 hits low.
- Morrigan's fireballs are slow and her Flight Mode is as well. Mag's Disrupter assist is a great tool for helping her get in.
- Morrigan's air properties are a bit weird during her combos, but it is possible to get an extended combo with 23's low assist after air combo.
- She can flight cancel her fireballs ; 2 fireballs on screen at once. During her clone super, this makes 4 fireballs at once. Doing that a long with Magnetos beam assist causes TONS of frustration and damage, or lots of chip.
- All of Morrigan's supers DHC extremely well with her teammates. The Finishing Shower and Astral Servant both hold the enemies well enough for a full DHC to hit.
Wesker is also used as a last character because of the huge comeback factor. His damage is already amazing and in X-factor it is unbelievable. Also since Wesker has so many tools, he can handle comebacks well. But his explosive damage and command grab make him a great starter as well.
- After Wesker's Air combo, he can gunshot into Magneto assist, leading into another launch, then gun shot into 23 assist for a third launch. The scaling does get heavy, and the hit stun deterioration is noticeable, but this can be ended with another gunshot team super, x factor combo or air super.
- Firing your gun as Magneto shoots Disrupter, then immediately teleporting while the beam shoots can cause great confusion in your opponents.
- Only chip damage he has is the gun and Phantom Dance super. They both do very little chip, but the gun does a chunk in x-factor.
- Can DHC from Phantom Dance to Weapon X Prime but can be tricky but if y have a third member , this could lead into a awesome dhc reset depending on their super. Most of Wesker's DHC options miss, only do a little damage or take awkward timing.
- Low assist during block string into air teleport behind enemy for an overhead can be a bit tricky.
SOOOOOO, how do they do overall?
- Meter building assist is rape, especially since Magneto and X-23 can easily end very big combos with a super. Also having ton of meter towards the end and using Clone assist as much as possible with X-factor is a godlike way to make a comeback.
- Air S is one of the best anti- armor moves in the game.
- Flight Cancel combos create annoying fireballs, and make any unsafe move...safe :p
- Lvl 1's can be DHC'd into very well, more importantly her lvl 3 is EXTREMELY DHC friendly due to the awesome hit box and active frames.
- Has trouble getting in sometimes due to her extremely limited movement. But can keep you guessing with the options she has while flying.
- Attacks can be confusing and great block strings, but without an assist someone can get used to the mix ups.
- Command grab isn't comoable, but her back throw is...
- Air combos are a bit weak without flight cancels
- The strongest out of the team, way stronger than Morrigan. And most Health.
- Most versatility and tools. Combo-able command grabs, several wall bounce moves and amazing re-launch combos with assist.
- DHC's can be weird at times and lvl 3 dhc takes weird timing due to small hit box.
- Gun teleport combos can be tricky and create cross ups.
- Can't fly, but can teleport 3 times in the air before landing.
Overall, Wesker is a better character. But someone who has trouble with high-low mix ups, crazy fireball zoning and extremely long block strings can be destroyed easily by Morrigan. In the end, depending on the player I switch them in and out. Sometimes having both of them on the same team by taking out Magnus ;) 3 Things Morrigan definitely has over Wesker are zoning(his gun and teleports are fast but, someone who can fly and litter the screen with fireballs is more effective), ability to fly around and extremely fast moves that beat armor attacks a long with her her multi hit jumping S that rapes armor. The overkill power of Wesker in lvl 3 X-factor can kill most characters with counter super into abc launch combo easily and his speed is great.

Handful of games coming up in the next couple of months and I've been thinking about which will truly be worth my money.
Video games are expensive now a days and the cool swag you get from special editions costs even more. Also basically every game that comes out markets pre-order bonuses, coursing you to spend that $60+ first day even more. I am not a fan of renting because I take my time with games. Also I hate returning them for a lower price than I paid for, sometimes feel like I might as well keep it and try to make the best out of it. So what has always been the biggest importance to me was Replay Value. The ability to play a game more than once and enjoy it, to want to play through it again and the options to experience new things (besides mere achievement hunting ; boring) is what I enjoy. The lack of that in many games has driven me to play only games with multi payer features the last few years.
Here is what I think of the four games I have been keeping my eye out on coming out in the next couple of months, and how my feelings have changed for them overtime leading to how I ultimately think / what I'm waiting to see.
1. inFAMOUS 2 - Jun 7 2011
I only played a little of the first game but I did definitely enjoy it. Luckily the video and previews on this sequel have been very informative. The single player (like the first) has 2 paths to go through, good side fighting bad guys and saving/ protecting the public and bad side, where you destroy the shit out of everything. Alright, that is already 2 play throughs, but what makes the game worth it? The fighting is absolutely epic. The main character Cole of course has many creative electrical super-powers (and even more with pre-orders / special edition). Besides flying around and making cool explosions, he has a melee weapon that involves very brutal combat. Besides playing through the story twice with wicked ass-kickings, what makes the game really shine is the Mission Editor. This time around you can create your own missions, or play other persons missions online! The possibilities are endless from what ive seen, turning the game into a shooter, plat former or basically whatever you can think of.
Now the pre-order bonus isn't necessary, but since i am already sold on the game i might as well. Gold Melee weapon from Amazon, Bad guy skin from BestBuy, Lightning Hook (basically the Bulletstorm Leash, go fuck yourself gimmick game) from Gamestop, which is where I'm getting it and Electric Grenade from Wallmart. The $100 Hero edition adds in a bag, belt and a comic ; lame. Also they all get Uncharted 3 Beta. Long Story short, this game 2-sided play through mixed with epic combat and a flexible mission editor will keep it far from boring.

2. Alice: Madness Returns- Jun 14
Alice Madness Returns is another sequel game. The original was a PC mind-fuck action adventure horror game that not many people played. What brings a lot of hype to this sequel is the amazing story behind it and the feel/ style. This single player game is filled with bloody combat as Alice fights twisted figures in her once again Demented Wonderland. The downside is that it looks extremely repetitive. I was very excited following this game until they simply just wasn't showing enough, but then it seemed like the game didn't have much at all. The slicing, dicing and shooting with ridiculous amounts of blood spurting around is cool, but how long does that last? Ok, there are some plat forming elements, that look really pretty and Wonderland-ish, involving invisible things and fairy-tale esque powers Alice has.
A great sale point is when you buy the game, you also get the original as DLC! But that still doesn't convince me to drop $60+. Also the pre-order bonus is weak-sauce. Cd's are cool, but it isn't even real, it's a digital download Cd. Upside is that the music is pretty sweet in this game. In the end, cool visuals and a creepy-sick story is awesome, but that just makes it a rental :P The gameplay has some eerie effects but is basic for the most part. I still keep my eye on this game but at the moment, it has been taken off of my "Buy" list. I wish they would show us a reason to play it more than once besides enjoying the story and increased difficulty.

3. SSF4 AE- Jun 28
Well this is a given. I'm a big fan of SSF4. Playing AE at the mall has given me the incentive to buy the AE dlc (I was going to regardless ;p) This newer version of SF4 personally is awesome for two amazing reasons. My characters got buffed overall (the nerfs were minor) and the top tier charge characters that dominated got nerfed pretty hard (except Bison). There isn't much to say here. Unless you don't own SSF4 and you are wondering "what cool stuff do I get for pre-ordering?" you get a lame Oni Bobble Head Doll thing, might even just be a plush. SF4 series has done a great job being one of the most simple / technical fighting games with great fundamentals that lead into many advanced techniques. The AE versions brings 4 new characters and all the old characters have been changed in some way, either buffs, nerfs or both, a definite must buy for fighting game fans.

4. Catherine -July 26
Catherine is a adult mystery plat forming rpg. Interesting genre mix isn't it? I've been following this game since the Japan release and have been extremely back and fourth whether to buy it. The story obviously is the main feature. You play as Vincent, a dude who has bros and a girlfriend, then he wakes up with another chick, starts having crazy dreams and people start dying in the real world with relationship problems. the action part of the game is the dream world where Vincent frantically climbs blocks, it isn't as boring as you think. The game is rather difficult and makes you use your head. He gets points and power ups a long the way as well. What makes the game playable multiple times is that there are several endings. The game is supposed to take around 20 hours to complete the first time around and the higher difficulties are absolutely insane (in the original JP version they had to send out a patch because the game was too hard on the first setting, this will be the default in our version). Besides trying to escape gnarly monsters eating you in the dream world, you also interact in the real world. How you answer texts or not answering them at all, talk to your friends and comunciate with others around you shapes the story to one of its many endings to keep you interested there is a little multiplayer as well. Basically a head to head tower climbing mode to see who reaches the top first or survives the longest.
The Pre-order bonus to Catherine is more than enough. You get a saucey Artbook (meh) and a real Cd. The music to this game is simply amazing and worth it. For $20 more you get the "Love is Over Edition" which consists of a Pizza box from in-game, Vincent's Boxers, a pillow case with Catherine on it and a Empty Hearts shirt (which is what I really want). In the end, with a long and intriguing single player with several possibilities and some fun multiplayer stuff to toy around with, I will be picking up Catherine.

Rain + jetpacks + mechs = YES YES YES! Atlus has no plans for U.S release for Catherine = NO NO...no
Steel Rain DLC map pack features 2 levels inspired by the single player Campaign. The levels are MP-09 Junkyard and MP-10 Stahl Arms. This week we only get a tase of the Junkyard which includes Mechs and jetpacks...MECHS AND JETPACKS! Next week they will release the Stahl Arms video which includes miniguns! No pricing or release date yet on this DLC, but the day 1 DLC Retro Map Pack was 2 levels for $5, so this might be the same.

In Sad-face News, Atlus U.S said Catherine is a Japan-Only game and no thoughts of U.S release at this time.
What do you think jimmy's? Will Catherine pull through or would it not sell as well in our market? Japan-Only games sometimes do make it to the U.S but that takes years! Also I don't know if I like the mechs or the jetpacks more! Killzone DLC is looking VERY promising, leave your comments below

Tokido and Daigo Yun play.
More AE video from Air and kim's youtube channel. WE finally get Daigo, people have been raving over seeing his Yun. It is really good, but not as ridiculous as many people thought. What do you guys think of the gameplay?

First is Daigo (Yun) vs Jack (Sagat). At fist it seems Daigo has a tough time getting in, Sagats normals can space well vs Yun, but Daigo gets in some Ume-Upkicks and in the second round, pretty much sniffs outt he Tigger uppercut
Here is Daigos Yun vs Magos Fei. It is a good fight but Fei's BnB's and normals seem too much for Yun, priority wise and damage wise.

And here is Mr.Murderface, Tokido's Yun vs Naruo's Seth. Nothing too special, mainly Tokido showing he is a solid Yun player and lands neccesary combos. In his blog he wrote that he picked up Yun's offense well but he is bad at defense.

Bulletstorm, it's a game full of tasteless but extremely funny humor and one- liners. http://www.youtube.com/user/NormalDifficulty loved dialogue so much he created a montage of ridiculous and raunchy sayings in the Campaign. The video doesn't really spoil much and it's not that long either. I laughed my ass off during the single player hearing some of these lines and laughed again watching the video, is it funny to you or just tasteless stupidity? Leave a comment below , jimmy ;)
I give my review on Killzone 3 and what Playstation 3 owners should expect.
Killzone 3 is a futuristic FPS that is exclusive to the PS3. After completing Single Player and being hooked on multi-player I hope you find my review useful upon purchasing the game.
Brief Story Overview - In killzone 2 the ISA went into Helghan, pwned shit up and Rico went into Rage-Mode and killed the Helgan leader Visari. This game picks up right after that, You (Sev) and your bro Rico are fucked. Your small army is stuck on Helghan trying to find a way home, you must kick some serious ass to defeat the massive army of Helghast.
I really don't want to spoil it for you guys so sorry if this lacks info, it will mainly be a critique. Let's start with the characters. I really felt no attatchment to them. All the good guys and bad guys personalities are written on paper in a way. First few times you see them you can pretty much get a feel of how basic they are. Bad guys who want justice and to crush the enemy at all costs, good guys who feel like dudes in a bad action movie, just trying to get home. And the way the story progresses just feels like a typical action-adventure movie. I actually am more attached to the Bulletstorm characters, and that game isn't even serious. But the good parts of the story are definately a plus. You switch around from time to time being on foot, in mechs, jetpacks etc the list goes on. The different missions consisting of these all feel extremely fun and "realistic". You can feel the weight of trying to run in a mech while bullets ricochet off your screen while your buddies next to you in a jeep explode and the ground soldiers frantically try to find cover and snipe. also it is no walk in the park, The Helgast usually outnumber you and like to spam nades and rocket launchers while being at MUCH better tactical areas, this gives the game a more challenging feel opposed to walking around mowing dudes down.
Sound isn't something I would normally review, but it is that awesome in K3. The actiony-battle music is pretty intense and goes well with many fights, but the surrounding effects are the star. The way explosions sound when they are near you actually make you feel screwed. When your friend gets shotgunned in a nearby hallway you can hear the echo. The game is so action packed and fast pace things are constantly firing and exploding, the sound they delivered really gives it a rough war feeling. Ontop of all of that whent he action is settled down, you can even hear enemies trying to sneak up on you as they run up metal staircases. A very special part of the audio that I enjoyed in single player was the voices of the Helgast. Sometimes I just like to bumrush the building spray a room. Fuck that, at times you can actually hear the Helghast before you reach the room saying " Was that movement? GO CHECK OUTSIDE!", it is amaaaaaazing. Unfortunately a part I really loved was toned down. In beta when you brutal melee somone in multiplayer they let out a RIDICULOUS death cry, the first day patch tuned it down a bit due to complaints, ha.
Definately uses the potential and beauty of a PS3, not much I can say here. The game does have a constant dark and brooding war feeling, but the visuals still shine and look stunning. Also there is great detail is buildings , uniforms/helmets and guns, you even have nice looking footsteps in the snow ;D. Dirty water and decimated cities have never looked so good.
Simply addicting. K3 multiplayer has 5 classes all with their own special abilities and weapon sets (3 primary and 3 secondary weapons). The game has a leveling system like most FPS and you take the points you earn to spend on your class. Leveling up the abilities and weapons on your favorite class is one thing, but the gameplay of it is win. All classes feel well balanced (a patch was done ) and they suprisingly work on every level. Even small cramped levels have a place for snipers, and large open levels have a place for Infiltrators. It isn't neccesary but using a mic in this game and cooperating with teamates doubles the fun of the experiance. A long with all of that you are rewarded "Ribbons" for your perfromance. Ribbons give you temporary bonuses during the match such as faster reload or increased bulletdamage (the list goes on) for getting certain types of killstreaks or completing objectives. Also multiplayer delivers 3 game modes, all awesome in their own way.-
Guerilla Warfare features "body count" which is your basic team death match, whoever has more kills at the end of the timer wins, it is max 16 players 8v8.
Operations is more on the tacticle side. It has the objectives of Capturing and Holding bases, Assasination, Propaganda Carrier (like capture the bag) and planting/disarming charges. What makes this game-type so hype is that after each failed/achieved objective there is a cutscene involving the people on the teams! So after faling to disarm the bomb you might see you and one of your teamates getting blown off a walkway while your leader tells you how sorry you are, this is a max of 24 players.
Warzone is the longest gametype and my favorite. It combines Operations (without cutscenes) and Guerilla Warfare in a randomized order. First team to complete 6-7 objectives wins the match. It is definately insane. Max 24 player.
For those of you who don't like to read-
- Story is a bit bland and expected. The upside is that it's full of action and even with co-op can be difficult.
- Sound is great. You get a good feel of war and the intense battle going on, also you can overhear enemies speaking in single player.
- Graphics wise the game is detailed and beautiful, starring at the vast destroyed Capital is beautiful in its own specialw ay.
- Multiplayer is where it's at. A leveling system with awesome classes, sweet game modes and levels that accomodate everyone make it a great experience.
In the end all I have to say is BUY IT! This PS3 exlusive is definately a must, it is a HUGE step-up from Killzone 2 (that many people hated) and is a wonderful FPS that will keep you busy.
Side note: If you are interested in DLC, it seems that they are going to stay with 2 maps for $5 pricetag.
