Something incredible has been in the works for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fans!

Revealed recently at a hands on demo, the company Bandai Namco showed off a playable version of their JoJo’s Battle Royale Arcade setups.  Each arcade cabinet is modular for another cabinet to hook up to it.  So you could have your very own JoJo’s Battle Royale Arcade set up for 4-30 people!  Or you can fly out to Japan and play this in their arcades.  The first video is gameplay uploaded from the event from YouTube Channel: Akiba-Ninja.  Back to back wins!  Total domination!

In the video below gameplay from the event begins and with the spectator/commentator mode you get a nice tour of what the game is like and the different characters.  The fact that so much time and effort has gone into this Arcade Machine is incredible to me.  I definitely see it getting a port to consoles and PC.  Not because it’s JoJo’s, but because it’s a battle royale, there’s enough fanbase for that genre and then you add in JoJo’s name and it’s a no brainer.

Mark of the Ninja is the best arcade game in years. Recently I played the Mark of Serenity level & I didn't use the Mark of Serenity once. Check out these 4 clips from the live stream. Also we're giving away 2 codes for MotN on XBLA.

*All these clips below are from GoukiJones' TV Live Stream.

**Check out my review for Mark of the Ninja.

I don't know what got into me that day. Actually I do. [cough, cough] I thot it would be a good idea to try & mess with as much of Mark of the Ninja as I could. Trying to kill every enemy. This was especially challenging on the level where I didn't have a weapon & could not execute the execution. I am the excellence of execution Jimmy! I did it tho, everybody died. *New Game Plus mode [On]

Pro-tips MotN 101. You can throw unconscious bodies from high levels & the fall will kill them for sure. First throw that dead body at another guard, watch him freak out & in his terror back up & fall off the high platform. Then chuck the body he just saw right over the edge as well. Double!

You can also use the environment to set traps. In this video below, the baddies have a radar & are super sensitive to movement & sound. It's very challenging to fight these baddies 1 on 1. The hanging explosive devices & exploding hiding spots were perfectly to assist you in these situations.

Grimshade Gouki.com Review

By: goukijones Apr 29, 2019 | 1 Comments

What I had the most trouble with was reading the map. I couldn’t make it out of the first zone or past the quest “Stashes of Brann.”

Grimshade is a tactical turn-based game.  During battle the teams are separated by a line down the middle of the battle field.  You have a small grid to move your characters around on.  It’s not free roaming like Final Fantasy Tactics, you can’t walk to the side of an enemy or get behind them.  Some of the characters have moves that get behind the enemies, but every fight takes place with this virtual line in the sand.

I started the game on the hardest difficulty setting.  The combat early felt more like I was just memorizing the sequence of attacks from the enemy to be ready to counter.  I didn’t mind this and felt the combat getting more challenging with each fight, especially when I started adding more party members.

What I had the most trouble with was reading the map.  I couldn’t make it out of the first zone or past the quest “Stashes of Brann.”  I have played many games in my lifetime and spent two 90 minute sessions running around this map looking for this one missing item. I had collected two of the three items and the map showed me the general area they were located, but not exactly where.  You can walk right into different areas of the map without any indication that it is happening. So I had the idea of just going around the outside and inside walls to search for the missing item.  When I found the second item it was hidden underneath a floor tile.  At this point I knew for sure which area one of the three items came from. The second item in my inventory I did not know what area I had picked it up in so that meant I had to search both areas again.   This is when the back and forth started for like two hours.  I knew it was one of two areas and I felt like I had completely combed both areas and clicked on everything possible.  This is when I began to think that I may have glitched the game.

Fan-Made Portal2 Core Replicas

By: iorilamia May 15, 2011 | 6 Comments

Wheatly that fits in the palm of your hand!

Youtube user http://www.youtube.com/user/ammnra is a crafty dude. He is the same guy who made the Rubix Companion cube last year, and replicates weapons from many other games. Today he brings us something a bit more relevant. Mini fan-made versions of Wheatly, Adventure Sphere, Fact Sphere and Space Sphere! They look like they came straight from Portal 2! Unfortunately he is not marketing/ selling them, so we can only watch in awe over the internet.

And his picture gallery http://www.flickr.com/photos/ammnra/sets/72157626669964230/with/5722889210/

What do you guys think of his craftsmanship? Super badass nice to me! Leave a comment on what you think, or share any info on other fan-made stuff.

Dragonball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi!

By: blazemanx Jul 21, 2011 | 6 Comments

Dragon ball Z is back and stronger than ever!

Get ready for the new Dragonball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi. It features upgraded environmental and character graphics, with designs drawn from the original manga series. It releases Oct 25, 2011 and will be available on both PS3 and Xbox 360! I am a BIG DBZ fan and have always loved the tenkaiichi series with that being said im am hype for this. Are the any DBZ fans out there? Let us know what you think and don't be a jimmy.

It's absolutely the stupidest shit on the internet.

First of all the VGX - which was once called the Video Game Awards with this elaborate production similar to a typical award show, with presenters & musical acts - has been reduced to internet spam with no fast forward button. Whatever, it only happens once a year & I kinda don't mind sitting there for a couple of hours watching this nonsense.

Who were those black guys they would cut to? Why did they have all of the price tags still on their clothes? Is that the new style? I am getting old. :(

There was a video posted on YouTube about the best cringe moments from the show. Viacom, shut that shit down straight away. You can still check it out in this Trendolizer site

Honestly if it wasn't for Joel Mchale, this would have been super dreadful. It definitely didn't need to be 3 hours.

Now do you understand why Bethesda & many other companies pulled out from this years show.

Then we have the final "Musical Performance" at the end of the night. Hope you aren't watching with any children in the room because there as a ton of uncensored rap music. Which was fine for me, I'm an adult, but c'mon Geoff Keighley, WTF is going on?

Go watch that video if you haven't seen it already. I've watched it like 10 times.

Demon’s Souls Review

By: reipuerto Aug 25, 2010 | 5 Comments

You will get beat. A lot. And then some. Until you learned your lesson. And still come back for more.

Demon’s Souls is one of the MOST UNDERAPPRECIATED game of last year. Once this game was praised for unorthodox reasons, it kicked off and reminded us, the gamers, that games aren’t only meant to be enjoyed, but to be challenged in them too. Making the experience worth the purchase. The makes of Demon’s Souls, From Software, know how to make a game. They also published the Tenchu and Armored Core series too. And Atlus made a great investment of taking the publishing rights and releasing it here in North America. So let’s get started shall we?

[copyrighted image removed]

Story- You are in a corrupted Kingdom called Boletaria and the King is a selfish bastard and uses dark ritual to gain power. So heroes try to service the people but get destroyed in the process. There is a fantastic story behind this but the game’s narrative is lost. A shame because some the character you meet SEEM to have a bigger story than the main character! Seriously! It makes you think that you are really there to help them and finish their. But you also get your own place in the world. There is a character that helps you instead of killing you. Referred to as the Maiden in Black, and your source of leveling up, she helps you with your quest. And there are even some secrets of the story, you’ll wondering for a WHILE.

Gameplay- This game is at your control. Like InFamous, the controls are spot on. The only mistake is the player. You can block, roll, back step, put up your shield, swing weapon, swing weapon with two hands, light and heavy strikes with single and cast magic/miracles. You also have to watch your stamina bar. To “level up”, you use the game’s currency, demon’s souls, to increase your personal style of preference. On the out skirts of the game, you get to pick you class, not race, and ride with it. But after that, you can make a magicians with strong attack, and soldiers with strong magic. Weigh and inertia of your equipment do matter. Carry all that junk and you’re as slow as a cow. Pack light and you can use less stamina and maneuver much faster. The game is yours. The control is yours. It’s like more Zelda sword play. And you’ll die. More times than you can count too. Why? Because you’re reckless and you play too much Halo and Call of Duty. Those game hold your hand. Demon’s Souls will look at you fail and kick you while you are down too. Because not only dying means to reset the level from the beginning with EVERY enemy you killed, RESPAWN, but you lose your all-in-one currency too. Demon’s Souls takes you back to the old days. No training wheels here folks. You die because you are rash. You die because you got cocky. You die because you are careless. Slow and a steady wins the race here. There is a REAL tension here.
The gameplay also has “online” play offline play. What that means Jimmy is, you are always connected to PSN. And you will see ghost or Souls wondering around doing something in your world. Those are real players living in your game, doing something in that area. If you see blood stains on the floor, get ready for a blast. You get to view the last few seconds of that poor bastard that made the wrong move. They are your help. And you can leave writing on the wall and people will read it. If they “like” it, your health gets replenish because of your helpful deed. Else, nothing. You can even trick people into their own death…
Souls can also INVADE your game and try to kill you, if you‘re in human form. They are known as Black Phantom, and they crash your adventure and try to take your life so they can be revived in their world. But as human, you can summon White Phantom to help you fight back. As human form, you have full health, you can summon others but your footsteps are loud, yes, that matter! In Soul form, you health is reduced to half, you can invade/assist others games, and are quite!
If you progress the game while doing good deeds, in a sense of banishing the demons and not dying, the World’s Tendency will get brighter, making the game SLIGHTY easy. But if you die and invade others, the World gets darker and game get harder.

Sound- The game has an amazing orcastrated sound. The sounds of real drums and instruments make it better. The clash of swords and bow guns launching, arrows bouncing of your shield, fire, beast, and blood spatter, all sound superb!

Graphics- The game has a beautiful scenery. It will capture your attention, when you’re not looking at the game over screen time and time again. It is unfortunate that the came comes off as generic. The detail in deforming your ugly human is humorous. But hey, that’s what armor is for.

Over all- Buy it! It is an adventure WORTH taking. Not many games can deliver this kind of intensity and the sense of defeating a foe, is on par with beating a game. The DEEP mechanics are insane! Just to beat Demon’s Souls will require a talent that we as gamers lost, patience and perseverance! BUY IT twice because it’s a rare jewel.

Just listen to the beauty...

9 different game modes, online play, 7 locations and 30 unique courses.

It looks like a total crashfest!

Gouki.com goes to San Diego Comic-Con 2010

By: goukijones Jul 19, 2010 | 6 Comments

Gouki.com has been invited to attend Comic-con 2010 has members of the media. Here's a preview of what I'm personally looking forward to seeing.

San Diego in July? Seaworld? Wind Surfing? Naval base tours? No, I'll stay inside as usual. Except I'll be at the SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON. Suer exciting about returning to the comic-con this year. I have been to San Diego in over 10 years. Things are a little different this time, Co-founder BatRastered and myself will be attending as members of the press and we're going to bring you all types of our unique coverage from all over this year's San Diego Comic-con. Here's a little preview of what I'm looking forward to.

Our private jet lands on Thursday, so we probably won't actually be on the floor until around 3pm. So let's start there.

THURSDAY

3:30 Star Wars: TFU2 demo. Hopefully we get to see some new stuff. Although it doesn't really matter, I will be getting this game the first day it comes out. It's just so much fun to watch.

4:45 Capcom 2010 and Beyond! Capcom is going to be showing off the latest updates for all the new games coming out within the next year. Ono-chin has been teasing something new about Super Street Fighter IV and he promised it will be revealed at Comic-con.

6:00 Halo: Reach again, there's no discussion here. I'll be getting Halo Reach at a midnight release somewhere. hopefully they show some stuff from the campaign that really blows my mind. Please confirm the 6 man co-op campaign ya Bungie Jimmys!

7:30 Penn and Teller more bullshit I'm sure. This will probably close the night out for us. We'll definitely be out of whiskey at this point. Looking for a place to relax and have a few laughs, with these two assholes.

FRIDAY

11:15 Marvel Interactive will be talking about Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions and will probably reveal the 4th Spider-Man just like FNJimmy promised. More information on the other upcoming games.

1:00 Star Wars The Old Republic panel totally dedicated to the story of the game. I expect to hear specific details about the 8 different character classes in SWTOR.

2:00 Another Marvel VS Capcom panel. Really? Well this might be where they actually reveal more characters and levels for the game.

3:00 Joss Whedon panel. It's Joss Whedon yo, the creator of Buffy. I'd like to sit in and see what he's up to.

4:00 Fable III without Peter Molenuab? If Peter Molenuab isn't going to be there, why should I. I don't even know about this Fable III anymore after what I saw at E3.

4:30 Another Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions panel. WTF is going on here. The people just want to know what Spider-Man it is. This is turning into the Lebron James 1 hour Jimmy special.

4:30 Fallout writers panel. I played Fallout New Vegas at E3. It seemed to be the exact same to me. I can't imagine the writing driving that came in any different direction away from Fallout 3. Nubfarm.

6:30 Gears of War 3 with Gouki.com favorite Cliffy B. It's Gears 3 Jimmy, there's a female COG and new moves and guns. Big Shocker!

8:15 Iron Man Anime. Looks bad ass watch the preview.

10:00 Batman Under the Red Hood. I'd prefer a pink hood, but I'm still excited to see a new batman animated movie. Check the clip.

SATURDAY

11:30 Dragon Ball Z Kai voice actor panel. Jimmy

11:45 Warner Brothers will be showing off the new Green Lantern, hopefully it's not too gay.

12:00 Here we go again with Ono-chin apparently this is when he will reveal whatever he is going to reveal about whatever. Irrelevant. You have go to read these Comic-con panel descriptions carefully.

6:00 Marvel Studios Thor and Captain America showdown. Can't wait to see what they have for us. How long can they make these excellent comic book movies. Ironman is so much to live up to. I still love the Edward Norton Hulk too ya Jimmy!

SUNDAY

Free day. PWN the floor.

GoukiJones, BatRastered and of course FNJimmy will be live at San Diego Comic-con all weekend. Our eye in the sky, Choke will have some live exclusive insider flipping coverage from the comfort of his bedroom. Follow us live on Twitter with #sdcc and stay tuned to our page Gouki.com/sdcc.

Leave some comments and let me know what you want to see from us this year at the Comic-con.

$200 Price tag, is it worth it?

Don't worry, it's going to play all of your current Nintendo Switch games and as of right now, I don't think there will be any console exclusives for this system.  It's just a Switch without a dock and it does not connect to TVs.  It does not have motion controls or rumble. The screen looks like it's the same size as the current Switch.  I don't get, but Nintendo thinks this is something that we all need.

The new Nintendo Switch LITE will be released on Sep 20, 2019.
