Uncharted 2 Among Thieves E3 2009 floor demo

By: goukijones Oct 3, 2010 | 3 Comments

From E3 2009. The Jimmy in the Sony booth was absolutely no help.

June 19, 2009

I played this @ E3 2009 and the Sony Nuab in the booth, who's supposed to be helping me with the game is standing next to me texting on the phone. Meanwhile it takes me half the time of the demo to get my buttons set right. The game was like any other FPS Shooter game. The multiplayer here is something that the Sony fan boys cried for after the first Uncharted came out and let me stop right there ... NOT EVERY GAME THAT COMES OUT NEEDS A MULTIPLAYER. WTF? This is a waste of time. The same time I was playing this garbage demo on the other side of the wall, there was a rack 8 of nuabs playing MAG. That's a multiplayer game that does some shit like 200+ vs 200+ ridiculous.

Uncharted 2 Among Thieves Multiplayer is unnecessary and not needed. Piss off!

Dead Island Live Action Parody Is a Bit More Realistic

By: iorilamia Jun 21, 2011 | 6 Comments

Things go horribly wrong between a group of friends...

The reverse and forward motion of the Dead Island trailer was a great one and I'm suprised thousands of parodies didn't pop up. Here's a great one upoaded by that parodies it with a group of gamer guys, enjoy.

Could this happen? Maybe.

Girl Fight showing off some new cleavage with Ghost. Also unveiled a new place to get all hot and sweaty. Chicks beating up chicks. Latest update for the new fighter from Kung Fu Factory and Microprose.

From Reverb:

Learn a bit about Ghost, Girl Fight’s de facto speed class – delivering lightning quick strikes and evasive maneuvers.

Ghost was a government agent who specialized in wetwork and black ops. For over a decade, she was sent around the world on missions that only a handful of people were authorized to know about. Sometimes she was called upon to be a thief, other times she was a spy, and when the mission required it, she would be an assassin.

As the years passed, her grim occupation began to take its toll on her mind. She was haunted by her crimes, consumed with remorse for the lives she had taken. After ten long years of staining her hands with blood and carrying secrets that could topple nations, she fled from her life of murder and tried to start fresh with a new identity.

Months passed without incident. She began to feel safe. She thought that she had successfully escaped her employers. She was wrong.

As with each character in Girl Fight, Ghost has her own home arena. Set amid an apocalyptic battlezone, the Bridge Arena takes place on a massive yet crumbling commuter bridge. Fighters duke it out on the unstable bridge while utter chaos unfolds around them.

An arcade-style 3D fighting game in which players battle physically and metaphysically, Girl Fight allows players to choose from an array of sexy fighters to battle their way out of THE FOUNDATION, a shadowy, scientific organization looking to weaponize the psionic fighting abilities of the cast of gorgeous, all-female fighters. With a wide range of fighters and styles to choose from, arenas from across the world to fight in and tons of unlockables and customization options, Girl Fight offers retail-level bang for digital download bucks.

Come check out Girl Fight at Reverb Games' booth at PAX East 2012, 808. Developed by Kung Fu Factory and produced by Microprose, Girl Fight for PSN and Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 is rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB and will be at the upcoming PAX East (April 6-8) at Reverb Games' booth (808). Raychul Moore, long time friend of recently visited San Diego Comic-Con. She has a few great stories to tell from the event. From random Jimmys hating on the Booker DeWitt gender swap & of course the 12 year nuabs I mentioned.

Me? I don't know how I feel about the gender swap stuff, but that's 1 of her gimmicks & that's fine. She's easily the most popular girl I know who is doing that. A little weird yeah, but she makes it work. My only thing is like the Drake, she did Drake from Uncharted a few years back. She had on the same thing he did, long sleeve shirt & jeans. That's definitely more of a personal thing, she wasn't trying to appeal to any sex there. What am I talking about at this point? The Booker DeWitt was definitely sexier, but she explains why in the video below. Plus there's the whole story about the 12 year olds & Cammy's butt.

Thanks for watching. Who are your favorite nerd girls? Leave her name in the comments for me. ;-)

Looks like somebody is trying to be like Pixar. The villager maker however is extremely gay.

Over on the Xbox website you can play with a little creation tool and create a villager that will be inserted to your copy of Fable III. So I choose to make a female, because I'd love to have a slut in the game that I've designed head to toe. It's like Weird Science for me. Ok maybe it's not that serious.

So when you select your character you are asked a serious of questions. At this point, I'm female and have answered two questions about my personality. The third put me in a position where I catch the town crier with my lover. Hmmmm, Now in my head, it's just 3 females right? I think the game thinks your lover is traditionally the opposite sex, the town crier has always been males in Fable III. Now this is some gay shit. 2 of the options are to either let them finish, while you go make them some tea. lol. Or you can join them ...

Fable III, only semi Kinect enabled will be out soon. Now watch this video, trying to be like Pixar Animation, but it doesn't really make any sense.

Follow up. I couldn't get the create a villager to actually add it to my game. I kept getting an error message saying my Gamertag wasn't linked to my account or whatever. Fuckin' nuabs! The Twitta or the Facebook share buttons didn't work either. Maybe it's Chrome, either way I took some screen shots.

FREE DLC Bug for inFamous 2, Killzone 3 and GT5

By: iorilamia Mar 18, 2011 | 10 Comments

In my previous story I told you about the Shick and Gel promotion for PS3. Buy a product and get DLC for the games Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 3 or inFamous 2. Well, someone fucked up MAJORLY! If you go to the redeem site, you can add in ANY amount of fake information, and they give you a redeem code. To confirm this, I just used it for Killzone 3. Hey, even if you don't have these games , it isn't too bad of an idea to get the DLC for future preferences. You basically go to the Edge/Shick site and input either these 2 codes 841058005209 / 841058005261.

GoukiJones reviews Tomb Raider (2013) After he beats the poo out of on Hard. Get's 100% & plays a little multiplayer. Check out these exclusive videos & pro-tips.

So what do we have here, the new Lara Croft? Oh I don't care about that shit, never really played the old games from back in the day. What? This is an open world adventure with leveling up perks & enhancing guns? Okay, I'll try it out.

Turns out, I love this game. I'm saying right now, in May, Tomb Raider is Game of the Year.

Basically what is happening here is, I've killed everything in the area & I'm looking for the treasures & documents & GPS thingys hidden in this area. Those of you familiar with Borderlands know how something are hidden in areas & they don't really tell you what they look like or where they are. Tomb Raider has the same shit. Eventually tho, Tomb Raider will show you the location of most missing items & Lara can use here "Survival Instinct" aka Detective Mode to spot important items/animals & other shit in the wilderness.
I don't know what you are watching here. This guy either timed out & died or I killed him by jumping on his head Mario style. The combat is the worst part about the game unfortunately & I have some more videos, that are gonna make you shit. Don't worry about the combat too much, there's much more to do.
All of the climbing & level design is brilliant, really fun to run around & look for all of the secrets. Lara has great control when she is jumping. Like you can turn her around in mid-air & she sometimes gets a little extra float if she's trying to grab onto something from a long jump. Plus she can get on top of most things. She could definitely get on top of me. What? I like any game where I can climb to the top of that giant structure in the middle.
So I played the game on Hard. I don't fuck around with games on Easy anymore. I think it's a waste of time. Playing games on easy where enemies just fall over & you thru the game too fast & miss what half the levels look like because you're too busy just blazing thru ... yeah I don't like that. Plus combat is my favorite thing, it why I play most games like this. Is the combat like Drake's? No not all. 1: Lara doesn't have grenades. EVER. 2: the enemies are DUMB AS FUCK.
The clips of the AI don't get any better unfortunately, they glitch out sometimes, they spawn, despawn & respawn right in front of you. That's Jimmy ass!
  • Level up all of your combat perks first.
  • Level up your guns as you go. Doesn't matter what you use to kill people with. Shotgun & Machine gun works best.
  • You can use Detective mode all you want, as long as you stand still.
  • Don't be a Jimmy!
0:06 Spawn in front of me.
1:21 Respawn right in front of me. :(
Okay so maybe I spent a lot of time talking about the stuff I didn't like, but mainly it's just the combat & that's too bad. Hard doesn't really do anything. There isn't even an achievement for beating it on that difficulty, so it's not like I can every prove my accomplishment. As far as getting 100%, there's an perk you can unlock that shows the location of every hidden item in the game. Fallout had something similar.
Watch these Jimmys just walkthru the wall. No problem.
So despite the stupid AI & the poor combat, Lara Croft is still fun to play. The level design is great & the tomb raiding, did I forget to mention the tomb raiding? Yes there is actual tomb raiding. There's like 5 or 6 of them in the game, maybe more. They are just puzzle rooms or challenge room like from Batman. This all good stuff too, I just wish there was more.
Oh wait, there is! There is Multiplayer. This is another copy of what Uncharted had, hell even when the characters are waiting to start the game, it looks just like Uncharted. I played 2 games of this. The first game I came in halfway thru & of course had no idea what was happening. In the second game, the game froze. The Xbox just couldn't handle all of the thunder & lightning. I guess I'm not missing much here tho. I haven't played Lara Croft since & that's because there really isn't any reason too.
It's still worth your money. Shit we got it for $35 bucks! Stolen! #dealsjimmy

SSFIV Developer Blog: Release Date and More!

By: Crimson Relic Jan 26, 2010 | 6 Comments

Developers of SSFIV talk about the costume packs, Collector's Edition, as well as give the release date for the game in Japan.

Hello everyone!
I reeeeeally want to write about the Tohoku qualifiers! But as today is a special update, I've got something different to talk about!

Today, it also seems that Capcom is announcing a new title for the Xbox 360! To go along with that, I've also got some SSFIV news as well. Big news!

First, the sale date has finally been decided!

On sale April 28 (Tuesday) 2010!
The price is 4,990 yen!
What a steal!
(For Xbox 360 and Playstation 3)

Also, the Super Classic Pack of 3rd alternate costumes for Guile, Blanka, Dhalsim, Gen, and Fei Long will be immediately available for free download!
(But, if you don't get it soon, from 7/1 you'll have to buy it.)

Super Classic Pack

^This is what you'll be getting! Fei-Long is just too cool. And I personally like Dhalsim's Indian look.

But wait, there's more!
As special content exclusive to the Xbox 360, we're including a new anime that focuses on Juri! (Only available in Japan) This anime comes from Director Kizaki of "Afro Samurai" fame, and the well-known Japanese animation studio GONZO! Which means, its incredibly high-quality.

Brand New Animation

^A shot from the opening scene. Looks just like a panel from an American comic book.

Brand New Animation

^Chun-Li's in bad shape. No ribbons around her hair buns, and without her earrings, this is a very raw look for Chun, who has been badly injured.

Brand New Animation

^Smiling Juri, she seems nice enough. Looks like she's holding...a person?!

The preview trailer for this new animation has been released today! Check it out on the official site under "Trailers".

But that's not all, I've got more.
We're also going to be selling a fully-loaded "Collectors Package"!

And what is it fully loaded with?

First off is the "Character Soundtrack Collection". A soundtrack CD featuring the remix themes of all the SSFIV character's music!

There are many fans who are really passionate about the character themes in Street Fighter. As we got all character themes in SSFIV, now you've got a great opportunity to listen to them! On the way to work or school, while driving...however you like!

Next is the "All Promotional Video Collection". We're including all the promotional videos and trailers that have been made for SFIV as well as SSFIV! That's about 30 movies! ...We couldn't get the very last SSFIV PV to be released in there, but aside from that one, everything else!

I think the trailers for SFIV and SSFIV are cooler than any other game out there. I may have all this stuff for work, but I'm really happy that I can get it for my personal use, and looking forward to it!

And last is the "Character Art Collection". A wonderful art book including sketch-style illustrations for all SSFIV characters. But that's not all! There's also a mini-story for SSFIV included as well!

As we made this "Character Art Collection" in mind with the idea that you'd look at it while listening to the "Character Soundtrack Collection", the illustrations follow the same order as the songs! So its like of like a lyrics sheet. So just like the soundtrack, the last page will feature liner notes from the composer Mr. Fukuzawa, Sound Designer Mr. Endo, myself, and of course Lil' Ono.

Collectors Package

This wonderful and extravagant Collectors Package will be sold for just 5,990! can you not buy it.

But...there is one thing I'm concerned about. It seems that Capcom is planning something else for this deluxe edition as well. I've heard some things... The main details aren't clear yet, but as soon as I know something I'll be sure to tell you through the blog!

And finally! At the National Tournament April 4th, a playable edition of SSFIV will be available in Japan for the first time! Of course, all characters will be useable.

So we've got the National Tournament for the arcade, playable SSFIV, and various other events planned as well. It will be held at the BelleSalle in Akihabara! Be sure to clear your calendar for April 4th and come check it out!

And to close things off... to go with the new animation trailer that was released today, we also have a new game trailer up! This preview trailer was made for SSFIV pre-orders! Its a cool trailer that shows off just how awesome SSFIV is, so be sure to give it a look!

...And that's all for the new info on SSFIV today! I can already hear some voices in the back saying "What about info about new characters?!" To that, I can only say please wait a little while longer.

Well then, see you all on Friday!

Japan Only Animation Trailer:

New Gameplay Trailer:

I call them le-ve. If you have the leves to spare, you can save a ton of money & time on leveling craft. The trade craft leves give the best rewards. Crystals, Cash & EXP. A lot of EXP.

Obviously this is a technique I'll be waying thru the rest of the FFXIV life cycle. 18K EXP is easily worth 5K. Somebody gotta jack up the price. Might as well be me while I level up off of these nuabs. Don't be a Jimmy!

Thanks for watching.

BigBangBeat -1st Impression Review

By: iorilamia May 11, 2011 | 8 Comments

I love Doujin fighters and not too many people talk about them. Here's my review of a game I've been playing for a couple of years; BigBangBeat. Maybe it will get some of you interested in doujin fighters.

If you aren't familiar with Doujin fighters, they are fan-made fighting games that for the most part you can download for free online. A lot of them are actually pretty good and some are turned into official games (Like Melty Blood). Unfortunately many doujin's don't work well or have sketchy fighting systems. I bring you my review of one of my favorites: BigBangBeat- 1st Impression. A PC game.

Ever had trouble doing a standing 720 ultra move? Do you even know what it is? Well Desk has a very good tutorial showing off how its done. Check it out!

Here is the description:

This is a new technique and entirely different from the method used by Vangief and other Zangief players. The existing method requires the player to hide or 'buffer' half of the motion in a normal or jump. This does not.

Its practicality is exactly parallel to how hardcore a player you are. So, if you're not hardcore, then it won't be practical.

Although technically, you only need 4 inputs after initiating your jump animation(up, right, down and left). You will most likely be going past diagonals. This will mean you have 7 frames to hit 7 inputs.

Tell us what you think in the comments. Don't be a Jimmy!
