See the comparison of the in-game characters vs the actors used.
L.A Noire' big whoop are the faces. I've been playing the game and the incredibly realistic facial expressions really do enhance the experience. A few of the characters might have seemed familiar from TV shows or movies. Check out the facial comparison between the game characters and the actual actors.
Aaron Staton (From Mad Men) - Cole Phelps
Erika Heynatz (America's Next Top Model) – Elsa Lichtman
Brian Krause (Mad Men) – Grocery Store Manager
William Charlton (The Shield) – Marlon Hopgood
Michael Bofshever (Bruce Almighty) – Ivan Rasic
William O’Leary (Home Improvement) – Frank Morgan
Patrick Fischler (Oldschool) - Mickey Cohen
Andrew Connolly (Guiltrip) – Captain James Donnelly
Keith Szarabajka (The Dark Knight) – Herschel Biggs
John Nobel (Lord of the Rings and Fringe) – Leland Monroe
Adam Harrington (Dexter) – Roy Earle
Sean McGowan (End of the Spear) – Stephan Bekowsky
Jack Impellizzeri (Two guys, a girl and a Pizza Place) – Floyd Rose
Larry Clarke (The Informant) – Adrian Black
Michael McGrady (CSI:Miami) – Rusty Galloway
Greg Grunberg (Heroes, Startreck, Hollow Man)
Now these aren't all of them (L.A Noire had am impressive cast) but here are some of the more famous people in-game. They did a great job transferirng it to a game. Which are your favorites and most realistic out of all of these? Cole, Marlon, Ivan and Grocer Store guy are amazing. You can't tell in the pic but in-game Roy Earle REALLY looks like Adam Harrington. Leave a comment on what you think about these.

Developers of SSFIV talk about the costume packs, Collector's Edition, as well as give the release date for the game in Japan.
I reeeeeally want to write about the Tohoku qualifiers! But as today is a special update, I've got something different to talk about!
Today, it also seems that Capcom is announcing a new title for the Xbox 360! To go along with that, I've also got some SSFIV news as well. Big news!
First, the sale date has finally been decided!
On sale April 28 (Tuesday) 2010!
The price is 4,990 yen!
What a steal!
(For Xbox 360 and Playstation 3)
Also, the Super Classic Pack of 3rd alternate costumes for Guile, Blanka, Dhalsim, Gen, and Fei Long will be immediately available for free download!
(But, if you don't get it soon, from 7/1 you'll have to buy it.)
Super Classic Pack
^This is what you'll be getting! Fei-Long is just too cool. And I personally like Dhalsim's Indian look.
But wait, there's more!
As special content exclusive to the Xbox 360, we're including a new anime that focuses on Juri! (Only available in Japan) This anime comes from Director Kizaki of "Afro Samurai" fame, and the well-known Japanese animation studio GONZO! Which means, its incredibly high-quality.
Brand New Animation
^A shot from the opening scene. Looks just like a panel from an American comic book.
Brand New Animation
^Chun-Li's in bad shape. No ribbons around her hair buns, and without her earrings, this is a very raw look for Chun, who has been badly injured.
Brand New Animation
^Smiling Juri, she seems nice enough. Looks like she's holding...a person?!
The preview trailer for this new animation has been released today! Check it out on the official site under "Trailers".
But that's not all, I've got more.
We're also going to be selling a fully-loaded "Collectors Package"!
And what is it fully loaded with?
First off is the "Character Soundtrack Collection". A soundtrack CD featuring the remix themes of all the SSFIV character's music!
There are many fans who are really passionate about the character themes in Street Fighter. As we got all character themes in SSFIV, now you've got a great opportunity to listen to them! On the way to work or school, while driving...however you like!
Next is the "All Promotional Video Collection". We're including all the promotional videos and trailers that have been made for SFIV as well as SSFIV! That's about 30 movies! ...We couldn't get the very last SSFIV PV to be released in there, but aside from that one, everything else!
I think the trailers for SFIV and SSFIV are cooler than any other game out there. I may have all this stuff for work, but I'm really happy that I can get it for my personal use, and looking forward to it!
And last is the "Character Art Collection". A wonderful art book including sketch-style illustrations for all SSFIV characters. But that's not all! There's also a mini-story for SSFIV included as well!
As we made this "Character Art Collection" in mind with the idea that you'd look at it while listening to the "Character Soundtrack Collection", the illustrations follow the same order as the songs! So its like of like a lyrics sheet. So just like the soundtrack, the last page will feature liner notes from the composer Mr. Fukuzawa, Sound Designer Mr. Endo, myself, and of course Lil' Ono.
This wonderful and extravagant Collectors Package will be sold for just 5,990! Man...how can you not buy it.
But...there is one thing I'm concerned about. It seems that Capcom is planning something else for this deluxe edition as well. I've heard some things... The main details aren't clear yet, but as soon as I know something I'll be sure to tell you through the blog!
And finally! At the National Tournament April 4th, a playable edition of SSFIV will be available in Japan for the first time! Of course, all characters will be useable.
So we've got the National Tournament for the arcade, playable SSFIV, and various other events planned as well. It will be held at the BelleSalle in Akihabara! Be sure to clear your calendar for April 4th and come check it out!
And to close things off... to go with the new animation trailer that was released today, we also have a new game trailer up! This preview trailer was made for SSFIV pre-orders! Its a cool trailer that shows off just how awesome SSFIV is, so be sure to give it a look!
...And that's all for the new info on SSFIV today! I can already hear some voices in the back saying "What about info about new characters?!" To that, I can only say please wait a little while longer.
Well then, see you all on Friday!

Battlefield 3 is now available for pre-order through Amazon. Also check out the new teaser trailer.
Amazon just unlocked the Pre-order for Battlefield 3. Battlefield is my preferred earth shooter. You can expect Team Gouki to be all over this when it is release sometime in the future.
That box art is probably unofficial. There is no confirmed release date. Amazon just appears to just have a filler date. Battlefield could come out this year. If there is no COD, it would be good for Battlefield to compete with Gears this holiday season.
Check out the teaser trailer.
Battlefield 3 - Teaser Trailer - Holy Shit!
I'm pretty sure this game isn't coming out when they say it is.
Amazon is still taking pre-orders, but the date has moved back from February 1 to May 31.
Official pricing and release date have not been announced by the publisher. These are estimates only and subject to change.
There is no official box art on the site, and the description for the XBOX 360 version still has the info from Borderlands on it.
Don't be fooled!

Assassin's Creed 2 is a hit. I give it 5 fist pumps....
Let's talk about Assassin's Creed for a bit. I cought on to the bandwagon a bit late again but this game is fun. You play Enzio, this dude is like the first Guido withought the GTL you know, (gym, tan, laundry) the Guido mantra. The game is crisp and visuals are awesome. If you get bored you can freerun around the rooftops. If you got a buzz on, every now and then you can feel it when he falls off of a roof. Could be just me, still have some brownies left. I was playing the other day and got one of those achievement things. It was called RED LIGHT ADDICT. This ment that I spent 5000 florians on coutesans, in normal talk thats 5000 bucks on whores. That is a feet because you only spend about 150 for 4 of those trampy whooores to follow you around town. You think that's how the people at MTV got those putanas from Jersey Shore, you know J-Woww, Angelina, Sammy and Clamidia AKA Snooki Beaverichi. Thats alot of florians...
Anyway like I was saying. AC 2 is a pretty fun game if you can get it from a friend like I did. It's not going to have great resale value. So dont expect the 3 dollar credit that GameStop is always so generous to offer (screw you GameStop). If you were a fan of the first Assassin's Creed then get it, but wait for the price to drop. Your not missing that much, it's the same run your ass off for 20 min. game that you've come to love.
As far as Jersey Shore goes, rumor has it they will be filming in South Beach next season. A state with a very loose gun control policy. This should be good, Jersey Shore meet Liberty City.
I say Rent it!

SummerSlam PPV AI Prediction matches are in. CM Punk VS John Cena was a little challenging. Also new music for Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan edited in. These videos are made using the AI. We do not play during the match or edit the match.
Only 5 matches have been officially announced for SummerSlam, the WWE must think they can sell PPV with just a C-Lo Green concert promised to us. Sad face. The first two matches were guessing will be added to the card during the PPV.Read full story...
The old school '92 classic beat 'em up has returned. Is it worth your money? Find out in the Gouki.com Review. Welcome to Die!
If I could describe the X-men Arcade game in one word it would be Disappointment.
Why you ask? Well I'll tell you why. I fondly remember going to the Arcade in San Diego California as a kid. Playing all sorts of games, blowing my hard earned money on good games, bad games, broken games (still pissed about those) and the best arcade games around. Back in the early '90s the top arcade games for me where the Beat 'Em Ups. The Simpsons Game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and who could forget the X-men Arcade game. Many of us had the 4-player cabinets in our local arcades, but some of us where lucky enough to have 6-player action at our fingertips... and just for a quarter (I miss those days).
I would spend hours beyond hours every week playing the X-men Arcade game. Meeting new people every time and having a blast. So I was stoked to find out that Konami was bringing this childhood classic back. At 800 MSP or $10 PSN I was sold. I bought this baby yesterday and to my surprise I was severely disappointed.
The game is exactly as I remember it, which is the problem. After 18 years I was expecting Konami to release an updated version, not just a smoothing filter. I wanted to have a remade X-men Arcade with updated sounds, graphics, and gameplay. Now I am not the person who hates the classics, or thinks they aren’t fun. My problem is that they could have had two games in one. X-men Arcade Classic, and a revamped version as well.
You have the choice between two version of X-men Arcade, USA and Japan. The Japanese version is better than the USA version solely because when you use a Mutant Power in the USA version it drains your life meter before using your energy orb. The Japanese version is the other way around. The USA version is much more difficult which would be a great challenge had the game had some sort of continue system. Instead you have unlimited lives, and can basically just spam Mutant Powers the entire time. Sure they take away your life energy, but who cares you can’t lose. Even online play has infinite continues. There is no way to change it either. So basically unless you’re like me and really want to try and relive the classic, you’ll try not to spam Mutant Powers.
My first play through was solo, and I beat it in 30 minutes. I spent $10 only to be jerked around for 30 minutes. This game welcomed me to die alright; I wanted to end my life and the game after playing it. The character selection is how you remember it, you can choose from; Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Night Crawler, and The Dazzler (yes she is a real X-men) each character has his/her own Mutant Power. Cyclops shoots laser beams from his eyes, Storm strikes her enemies with lightning, Wolverine slashes his claws at his enemies (lamest Mutant Power), Colossus goes into rage and destroys enemies surrounding him, Night Crawler teleports across the screen and destroys anyone in his path, and The Dazzler who uses sound frequencies to destroy her enemies.
For the most part of the game you are fighting your way through sentinel after sentinel with a few other enemies here and there. There are also eight boss characters, Pyro, Blob, Wendigo, Nimrod, The White Queen, Juggernaut, Mystique and of course Magneto. Each boss is basically a push over save Magneto. As one falls after another you move onto a new level. The story of this game is basically Magneto threatens the city with his army of sentinels and Kidnaps Professor X and Kitty Pryde. It’s up to the X-men to Go and Save the City as well as rescue X and Kitty.
It’s a pretty simple game, only using 3 buttons; Attack, Jump, and Mutant Power, which makes for an easy to pick up and play game. Online play is done well, with the option of playing 6-player drop in drop out co-op with relatively no lag. The only issue here is even on expert difficulty, 6 players can run through the game in under 15 minutes. It’s really hard to suggest spending $10 for such a short time of play.
While the X-men Arcade game is still a great classic in my heart, this new version is just plagued with not adding anything new to the game in 18 years. I had fun playing it, but I think it’s a waste of $10 Jimmys. Buy it if you’re a huge fan and have to get your hands on it, but for the rest of you out there just Demo it
Bottom Line: Demo It!
Ok, so how should I say this as simply as possible?

More updates from the Japanese Blog with changes for the roster of Super Street Fighter Arcade Edition. Check it out!
• Stun damage reduced on Crouching Hard Kick. Damage reduced on Standing Medium Punch. Both moves have the same hit properties.
• Her Focus Attack is now easier for opponents to hit. Assumption on what this means: Chun-Li would step back when she started her Focus Attack animation, some moves would miss her because of this. It sounds like this will no longer be the case in Arcade Edition.
• Down-Toward + Light Kick comes out slower, more vulnerability. Can still combo after it if it hits an airborne opponent.
• No changes to her Special Moves.
