Capcom Unity is doing a LIVE STREAM of Marvel vs Capcom 3 right now! What are you waiting for? Check it out! UPDATE: The stream is over, but the archive of the stream is still available.
Seth Killian was on hand answering questions from fans and doing some light character walkthroughs, along with explaining various gameplay mechanics.
• Seth laughed off the statements that Frank West and Human Torch weren't included because of technical reasons, (RAM limitations) saying that they're programmers are more than capable of setting characters on fire, he used Super-Skrull's flame Hyper move as an example. This debunks one of the rumors floating around.
• When they asked the fans which characters they thought would be revealed at Jump Festa soon, most people responded Hsein-Ko and Phoenix. A Capcom employee said to remember that and wait for what happens, saying "If that doesn't happen will it disprove the rumor?"

A funny little comic about what Mega-Man thinks of his non inclusion into Marvel vs Capcom 3.
This is too funny. I feel bad for poor mega-man.
Don't be a Jimmy like Mega-Man.
Alzmer posted a gameplay video of Jill Valentine, the first character from the DLC Pack with Shuma-Gorath. This video comes from a hacked version off the PS3 leading us to believe that these characters are on disc and just waiting to be unlocked.
"This was a relatively simple hack. I decrypted the PS3 version's executable file, changed some variables around, and replaced Viewtiful Joe with Jill. I then re-encrypted the executable and made a quick modification to the game-data MvC3 installs onto the PS3. (Namely, changed a parameter so that the game would treat the modified executable as though it were a patch.) After a bit more tweaking and poking at the game files, I successfully loaded her into the character select screen. (And yes, she's completely playable, albeit at the expense of losing Viewtiful Joe.)
Those who got special edition how do you feel? Where is the early access to these dlc characters. They are on the disc and not available for a whole month? What gives? Tell us what you think in the comments. Don't be a Jimmy!

Gouki.com got to play Marvel VS Capcom 3 all day. Check out our thoughts and these exclusive gameplay videos.
After playing Marverl VS Capcom 3 all day long yesterday. I sit here today only wanting to play more. MvC3 is one of the most spectacular looking video games I've seen in years. The colors and effects on screen are simply amazing. Capcom, Marvel have out done themselves. Marvel VS Capcom 3 is the sequel fans have wanted for over 10 years.
The character selection is great, there's a ton of classic characters you can use like Magneto and Captain America. The new characters are strange, but I'm really glad that both companies did some reaching. For example The Dog and the Bionic Commando Jimmy from Capcom and M.O.D.O.K. and TaskMaster from the depths of Marvels character catalog. Really cool stuff.
DLC characters in the future also have tons of potential, unless Shuma and Jill are the disc. If they are on the disc we could be screwed, but if not well then that opens the door for more characters to be downloadable content. There was rumor of M. Bison being in the game, but that could have been Photoshoped right? MvC2 had over 50 characters, I expect this roster to grow too.
Something I didn't like for instance were the stages, there's only like 6-7 stages to do battle on. You can't do versus on Galactus' stage, which doesn't make sense to me. No spectator mode is a really bad idea. I think that not haveing a spectator mode turns the game into more of a party game with friends in house, other than playing online. I'm not gonna sit on a blank screen while I wait for others to fight. Why does Capcom go backwards with some of these designs. It's odd to me that you can't do versus against the computer, practicing in training mode and doing the trials will only take you so far. Although the best experience you're probably going to get is online. Get ready for that Dante, Wolverine and Deadpool match up every time. Don't be a Jimmy!

Posted recently on the Marvel vs Capcom 3 Website was this image that states there will be more characters announced in the future. Check it out.
With the inclusion of Sentinel and Hsien-Ko Marvel vs Capcom 3 has reached its 36 character mark for the games launch. With 2 characters (Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath) making the cast 38 strong. It seems that Capcom is looking to announce more characters in the future. Most likely as DLC, but we may be in for a surprise as new characters may get announced to be included in the games launch. M.Bison comes to mind, but who else could it be. Check out this photo on the official site.
Who do you think it will be? Will it be DLC or will it make it in time for the games launch? Tell us what you think in the comments. Don't be a Jimmy!
Could it be true? Check out the picture and decide.
Was browsing Twitter and commentator/player/Lawyer Ultra David posted a link showing Strider and Frank West on a team. The pic also shows a part of Striders body. Looks real, just as "real" as that Bison pic (and that was very convincing). Are these characters soon to come? Or is it all fake , even back to the Bison picture? Leave a comment on what you think and want.
I HOPE Frank is in this game *_* , been jonesing for him to return since TvC!

Rumors states two characters to join roster, (or just leftover code)
It seems that a hacker decided to look into the code for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, and managed to find the names of one Frank West and Doctor Octopus. What could this mean? were Frank West and Doc Oc suppose to be in the overall roster, or will they appear as DLC in the future, or they simply wern't supposed to be there? I'll leave this story with an image of the screenshot of the code, as well as my sources.
