Ever had trouble doing a standing 720 ultra move? Do you even know what it is? Well Desk has a very good tutorial showing off how its done. Check it out!
Here is the description:
This is a new technique and entirely different from the method used by Vangief and other Zangief players. The existing method requires the player to hide or 'buffer' half of the motion in a normal or jump. This does not.
Its practicality is exactly parallel to how hardcore a player you are. So, if you're not hardcore, then it won't be practical.
Although technically, you only need 4 inputs after initiating your jump animation(up, right, down and left). You will most likely be going past diagonals. This will mean you have 7 frames to hit 7 inputs.

What are your odds on desynthing?
I'd been saving up for this desynth fest for months. I figured no matter what I had to pop all of these before the 2.4 patch. Here's how it all went down.Read full story...

Some people lack the urgency or ability to check/reply their emails or their text messages when they want to sell their video games or equipment.
I email/text message/call about 10 people on their Craigslist ads regarding the PSP they want to sell. Some don't include the model #. Is it a 1001? A 2000? A 3000 model? Is it even slim? Does it have a memory card or chargers? What size is the memory? What's the physical/mechanical condition of the system? Did your kid smash it on the ground before you were trying to sell it?
They leave out so many information at times, it requires 2 or 3 follow up emails which spans over a week and they end up dropping the ball somewhere and forget about your email/text message altogether.
Then you find out a week later, after continuous follow up, they say "Sorry dude, it's sold". I'm like WTF man. I been trying to follow up with you and you sell it to some random fucker that says, "I'll buy".
I'm surprised that anyone ever sells anything on craigslist because i get the feeling that 95% of the sellers on there are so lackadaisy that they never really wanted to sell it in the first place. They post it online to see how much it's worth locally and never reply back to you.
Show some damn common courtesy because the guy asking for the price and is WILLING to meet up anytime just MIGHT be looking to play PERSONA and P3P and needs to find a PSP locally.

I'm really excited for this game (which I seriously cannot wait to play!). I would love to give out my opinion about the game like I did for Dead Or Alive: Dimensions, but I can't since I've taken notice that some people had snagged a copy before it's release (don't know HOW they managed to find it, unless they had some contact from CAPCOM themselves. @[email protected]). Well all I can do is pray, have faith and wait with pure luck to win the MVC3 special edition giveaway hosted by goukijones. Once I get myself that game, I will give in my opinion/review on it on my next blog. ^_^
And so... I came across my sister's status on Facebook yesterday, titled "Marvel VS Capcom 3? :)" The comments I saw by guy A (will not mention any names) that he posted for her status just left me appalled. Already he got a chance to play it and he's already giving a rather bad review about it. Then, guy B defended the game in the argument saying something along the lines "perhaps you haven't gotten through much of the game so you gave up." But then, Guy A said simply: "It's just like Marvel 2, it's horrible & unbalanced. To put it simply, it just plain sucks." Well I guess some people enjoy spitting out negativity all across the planet. And he also ended it with "Don't play Phoenix, she's someone a noob would pick. She's just that cheap."
Well I don't know about him, but I wonder what you guys think. Is he telling the truth? Is MVC3 just like MVC2? I don't want to believe that. And is Phoenix that powerful like Seth from SF4/SSF4 crazy?

How to score the "Tribute to a Vault Hunter" achievement and get some cool loot in the process.
Michael Mamaril was a huge Borderlands fan who passed away before BL2 was released. The guys at Gearbox have immortalized him in game, you can get an achievement for finding him, and better yet, he'll give you a free gun of blue (or better) quality every time you see him.
On the consoles, he shows up 100% of the time before the story mission "Rising Action" and only about 10% of the time after that mission starts. On PC it is apparently 10% all the time.
Here's video of us finding him after "Rising Action" at Scooter's (this contains a small story spoiler if you haven't played that mission yet):
And again, this time at Moxxi's:
When he does spawn, he will randomly be in one of a handful of locations, here's where you can find him.
- Near the newsstand in the center of town
- In an alley down the street from the front entrance to Moxxi's
- Inside Moxxi's, near the bar
- Inside Moxxi's, near the piano
- In Marcus' weapons shop
- Near Claptrap's locker up some steps
- Inside Scooter's garage, under the stairs
- Inside Crimson Raider headquarters next to the stairs
- Inside Zed's clinic
- To the left of the door to Crazy Earl's Black Market
He's easily identifiable from both the guns strapped to his back and the fact that his name shows over his head instead of "sanctuary citizen".
Once you've got an item from him, he won't give you another until you either save and reload or leave town and come back. It's a great way to get some mid-level gear before the "Rising Action" mission, where the action really picks up and those guns will come in handy.

This is the most start and stop farming we've ever done in any game together.
Borderlands 2 Uranus
We've been farming Uranus for the last 3 days. At one point we did 8 hours straight in this boss fight. That's how we got the Pearl Rocket Launcher, Corrosive Conference Call and Corrosive Gatling Gun. I'm also using an Explosive Fastball Grenade and Grrrty is using a Slagged Magic Missile Grenade. I think we need to get her using the Fastball during this fight, he doesn’t seem to take slag damage. Plus Axton’s turrets are out almost the entire time and they have the slag gun attached to it.

The #WWE2K20 cover reveal kicks off on August 5 with more details than we’ve ever shared at announce and your first look at game footage! Follow our social accounts so you won’t miss a thing. pic.twitter.com/EqcA00gYx8— #WWE2K20 Info August 5 (@WWEgames) July 31, 2019
This is the first mention of this game with no debute at this year's E3. Traditionally, the game has been revealed earlier in the year and sometimes more than 6-8 months behind WWE storylines and character arcs. The pictures look great, the game looks better every year, but ... Can you do an actual Money In The Bank match in the game? Can you have more than 4 wrestlers in the ring at the same time? Doesn't matter, FnJimmy will love it!
Uh oh! The cover art for Mass Effect 3 was posted on the EA website for a very very brief period of time. It may have been by accident, but who knows. What we do know is that it showed the purple banner for Kinect on it. Check it out.
At first your thinking, this is cool we get to see the box art. On the other hand this spells trouble for the next installment to the Mass Effect franchise. I own a Kinect, and barely use it, I hope that they can make these hardcore titles work for the peripheral. As of right now though I am highly skeptical of this. Kinect better not ruin Mass Effect 3.

Do you you think you'll be ponying up for this new controller?
Lookin’ good, lookin good! I have the original Xbox Elite controller and I love it. The weight, the buttons, the interchangeable thumbsticks. I already thought it was a great controller, but this one definitely is making some improvements and I may be looking to get one as soon as I can.
a look into the man we call akuma/gouki.
Akuma is one of the most feared fighters in all of gaming and with good reason. I still remember seeing him for the first time on the 3DO (remember that system?) dashing in out of the darkness to kill bison and challange you to fight. Ever since then akuma has been quite possibly the most deadly warrior in all of fighting game history and here is a look into the man, the myth, the legend.
Akuma (known Gouki in Japan) trained under Goutetsu along with his brother, Gouken. Goutetsu taught them Ansatsuken (Assassin Fist), which is a mixture of karate, judo, and koppo. As the brothers progressed under Goutetsu's teachings, a dispute arose on the true nature of Ansatsuken and the path to master it. Gouken, unable to accept the violent nature of Ansatsuken, left Goutetsu to begin his own dojo. Akuma continued Goutetsu's teachings and vowed to use Ansatsuken as it was intended.
In order to learn Shun Goku Satsu, Akuma embraced the principle of Satsui no Hadou or (The Surge of the Intent to Murder/Murderous Intent). Through Satsui no Hadou, Akuma was forced to give up any compassion he held towards other human beings. In addition, Akuma realized his limits as a martial artist could be expanded, and left Goutetsu's guidance to train alone on an island (Gokuento).
His return marked the end for Goutetsu... Akuma demonstrated his strength by killing his former master with Shun Goku Satsu. Goutetsu fell with an inner joy, realizing his pupil was attempting to master Ansatsuken. Akuma removed the beaded necklace from Goutetsu's neck and placed it around his own. The following day Akuma challenged and fought his brother. With Gouken gaining the upper hand, Akuma was eventually struck down. Akuma requested death in defeat, however his brother was unable to kill his own kin. Akuma, sensing weakness, mocked Gouken and struck with Shun Goku Satsu. The dojo was filled with a burst of white light and Gouken was killed. Ken saw the flash as he was returning from the U.S. Martial Arts tournament. Rushing to the dojo to find it in shambles and his master dead, an enraged Ken ran into the surrounding woods searching for the killer. Akuma easily defeated Ken and disappeared. Gouken's other student Ryu soon learned of his master's death and began to search for Akuma.
Akuma first fought Ryu at his island, Gokuento, and discovered the potential within him. He destroyed the island and told Ryu to come back when he had embraced the killing intent. However, Ryu rejected it. Akuma now practices to be prepared for a battle with Ryu. He also killed Bison during the SF2 series, the only official result of that game.
Akuma fights only to test his strength and his opponent's. This means that he will only fight opponents that will provide a challenge, hence his refusal to fight unworthy challengers under any circumstances. Akuma will only kill opponents who are as strong as he, which is why he stopped his fight with Gen after realizing that he was ill. While Akuma killed his brother and his teacher, he did so in the confines of the code of the warrior, where the field of battle does not distinguish between friend and foe. Akuma believes he committed no transgression whatsoever. Also, with the exception of Gouken and Goutetsu, Akuma usually only fights those who challenge him instead of picking fights.
"Akuma" means "Demon" in Japanese. The kanji on the back of his uniform is called "ten." It can mean "sky," "heaven," or "beyond human." Akuma also has a few alternate, more powerful incarnations of himself including: Shin Akuma, Cyber Akuma and Oni Akuma.
Akuma is one of the first Street Fighter characters to really say "evil," besides good old M. Bison of course. Akuma's moves are of course based off of Ken's & Ryu's, which makes sense considering the storyline. In the later of the series, the manner is which he performs his moves became more and more different from Ryu & Ken... cooler maybe? Heh heh. Well, if you didn't know, Akuma adds in a certain "badass factor" to pretty much anything he does. He is an all around badass karate dude, if not THE badass karate dude.
I loved Akuma's 2nd Impact/3rd Strike appearance & fighting style, but honestly his SF4 incarnation disappointed me a bit... he's a bit too "monstrous-looking" in that game and his super moves just don't have the same pop. I think Akuma has looked his best in 2D form. In any case, he's surely one of my all time favorite fighting game characters (and I know I'm not the only one). Finally, Akuma's appearance in MVC3 looks downright epic... potentially his best... incarnation... ever.
Here is a little video I put together in tribute to akuma i hope you enjoy it.
So what do you think of Akuma? Let us know and don't be a jimmy.
