Free DLC Pack to Provide Additional Cinematic Scenes to the Ending of Mass Effect 3 this Summer
The fans have won and EA/BioWare will be providing some extended ending scenes later this year. Will it be too little, too late? I can't think about putting ME3 back in the system tray this summer, I'm not even going to remember much of what the ending was about by then. Honestly, they could've solved this problem with 3 pre-rendered youtube video explaining the three different endings a little better.
According to the press release EA will be providing:
"Through additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes, the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will give fans seeking further clarity to the ending of Mass Effect 3 deeper insights into how their personal journey concludes. Coming this summer, the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will be available for download on the Xbox 360® videogame and entertainment system, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC for no extra charge"
Hey, at least it's free!

Today is the last day to watch the Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Launch Trailer. We need 1 million views by midnight tonight to score 3 free Super Cars.
Watch it now, watch it 9 times. Tell your friends. Don't be a Jimmy!
Let’s buy a game! Wait.. You can’t do what!?!?
What’s up guys? Rei, Number 7 in the World, here with something in mind.
Do you pre-order games? Yea? Where at and why?
The thing is, if you pre-order it from GAMESTOP, you get something special. In this case, Battlefield Bad Company 2 Squad pack. Why would EA’s marketing team make a choice of isolating the other dealers with this game? More importantly, the people who buy games via this site! What’s the point of buying a game and having to wait a whopping 30 DAYS for the CONTENT ALREADY onthe disk!? This, to me, does NOT make sense what so ever!! The same strategy was implemented in Army of Two: 40th day (Also from EA.) Reserved this game and you would’ve gotten the equivalence of Halo ODST'S and Gears 2, Fire Fight mode and Hoarde mode respectively. But those where already on the disk!!
Why isolate the GAMERS from buying your game and not get the full benefit from it?! It’s like having a girlfriend but you can’t touch her until the following year, because she’s doesn’t have red hair. Does this make sense to you?
So tell me, what do you think about this?

Beginning Feb. 15, Xbox LIVE will deliver four back-to-back releases of the best downloadable games, with one new title a week.
Microsoft always has a great lineup of Xbox Live Arcade titles every E3 for their "Summer of Arcade". It looks like they're trying to do the same thing with CES and "House Party". There are some interesting titles here; an Alan Wake sequel delivered as a XBLA game instead of a full retail product. I liked the original despite poking fun at it's oft-delayed status. There's also Ubisoft's "I Am Alive" which originally was to be a full retail product from what I can tell. They seemed to have reduced the scope to allow it to actualy get released. GoukiJones got to play Warp at PAX, he probably doesn't remember, but it's a clever title that allows your character to warp from place to place, including inside people to make them... uh... explode. Nexuiz is the lone newcommer here, so I'm interested to see what that is about.
Here's the lineup from Major Nelson:
Alan Wake’s American Nightmare (Microsoft Studios): In this brand-new stand-alone experience, Alan Wake fights the herald of darkness, the evil Mr. Scratch. A thrilling new storyline, hordes of creepy enemies, serious firepower and beautiful Arizona locations, combined with a fun and challenging new game mode, make this a must for Alan Wake veterans, and the perfect jumping-on point for new players. Can you survive until sunrise?
I Am Alive (Ubisoft): One year after a worldwide cataclysmic event has wiped out most of human civilization, a man struggles for survival. Faced with an insecure, decaying and hazardous world, he scours a desolated city, searching for his long-lost wife and daughter. Survive the suffocating, murky streets covered in dust. Climb the teetering remains of last-standing skyscrapers to reach breathable air and find untouched resources. Explore the crumbling ruins of a once-thriving metropolis. Discover a changed human condition, punctuated by distrustful survivors, dangerous armed gangs and victims in need.
Nexuiz (THQ): For centuries, the Kavussari and the Forsellians have waged war. They have a fragile truce but, because of their seething disgust of each other, still pit warriors against each other in arenas rather than on the fields of war. These episodes of lethal combat are broadcast throughout the galaxy as entertainment — a spectacle known as The Nexuiz Competition — an arena-based first-person shooter where you can alter the rules of the match and the laws of physics while dominating opponents in ever-changing hostile environments.
Warp (EA): “Warp” is a puzzle-based stealth action game where you play as Zero, a lovable-yet-lethal orange alien with a big score to settle! Captured by the villainous Commander and imprisoned in his underwater facility, Zero must plan his ultimate escape using his arsenal of alien abilities — warp, frag, echo, swap and launch.

Mass effect three has a short gameplay video out showing off some of the Kinect features, and another just showing us how awesome this game will be.
Mass Effect 3 has been much awaited by many fans of the series, and we're finally seeing a little bit of gameplay. Unfortunately they're mostly trying to show off the kinect features, but at least it's not Kinect required, and the features they threw in don't really seem like they'll make gameplay worse. Simple voice commands are okay in my book. (as long as they work)
Here's a more lengthy gameplay video as well. Showing off some great action.
They've also unleashed a slew of screenshots as well.
I haven't played any of the Mass effect games yet, but this definitely makes the series look appealing. Mass Effect 3 is said to be hitting shelves on March 6 2012, and they've already announced a collectors edition.
-Premium metal case featuring commemorative artwork of Commander Shepard
-70-page hardbound art book featuring hundreds of unique and gorgeous illustrations from the BioWare development team plus an exclusive 4x6 lithographic print featuring a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork
-Limited edition Mass Effect comic by Dark Horse Comics, complete with unique cover artwork
-Join the ranks of the N7 with the premium fabric N7 patch
-A full collection of in-game content that can't be found anywhere else!
And it'll be $79.99
Are you guys hyped for Mass Effect 3? Let us know in the comments.
The "Fall of Earth" is great and all, but it will be super disappointing if you aren't travelling around the galaxy.
Mass Effect 3 gameplay trailer E3 - Fall of Earth
Note an official release date at the end... March 6, 2012.

Fight in legendary battles across all three eras in Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II.
Oh man, that Darth Maul looks nice! This may be the 2017 shooter on Gouki if we ever tire of Overwatch.
The hottest, funnest racing game out gets a iphone app for the awesome and revolutionary autolog.
Criterion announced earlier they would release a iPhone app to keep track of freinds and your times. The app will also allow you to post replys and mark races you wanna do when you sign back online. I Personally think more games should include this from developers, especially games like Halo, COD and games that have you compete against each other and multiplayer games that have robust stat tracking. Regardless this is awesome news for anyone with a iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.
I called EA yesterday and got an exclusive scoop on some upcoming information!
I called EA yesterday, trying to get an interview about Mass Effect 3. After getting kicked around from one person to another - nobody wanted to break the news, apparently - it was finally mentioned to me that EA has Mass Effect 3 on hold while Bioware sinks all of their resources into "a new, secret Star Wars game". Since The Old Republic is old news, I could only assume that meant Knights of the Old Republic 3. When I asked my source - whom wishes to remain anonymous - if it was, indeed, Knights 3, he simply sighed and said, "No comment."
He did, however, share with me another bit of news which might excite people. There is currently an unnamed racing game being developed by Criterion Games (the people who made Burnout!) that will themed in the Mass Effect universe. "The decision to make it," he said, "ultimately boiled down to keeping fans of the franchise happy while Bioware is on-hold with Mass Effect 3."
The official announcement of both, he said, would hit reuters and other news sources next week, but he did (under the conditions that I allow him to stay anonymous) say that I could give you fine Gouki readers the first scoop. When I asked for any other interesting news from EA, he simply chuckled and said, "You'll find out a lot of new stuff at this year's E3 show."
'Arrival' fills in the gaps between ME2 and ME3.
A deep cover agent is missing in Batarian space, after reporting evidence of an imminent Reaper invasion. Shepard must travel to the edge of the galaxy, rescue the agent, and discover the truth behind the Arrival. Uncover new research and 3 new achievements in this spectacular new adventure for Mass Effect 2.

Decent amount of new footage in this new trailer.
Have a look at the madness Wonderland has in store....
Uploaded by http://www.youtube.com/user/EA
A bit disturbing, as it sould be. Madness Returns is slowly shaping up the closer it is towards release. Still looks like an excellent rental. As a reminder, if you buy the game you also get the original with it. Anyone still have their eyes on this?
