Exclusively from E3 2012: check out Forza Horizon, coming soon to Xbox.
I'm not a fan of simulation driving, so the more arcadey feel to this is welcome to me... what do you think?
Is that Skrillex?
The Gouki team paid a visit to Sega's booth at E3 2011 for a first look at Aliens: Colonial Marines in action.
Hot on the heels of the first official trailer for this game, Sega let us in to see an early build of Aliens: Colonial Marines being played by the Gearbox staff and hosted by non other than Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox Software.
When asked when the game takes place in the Alien universe, Pitchford stated that he considers this the "true sequel to Aliens", which brought cheers from those assembled for this demo. We soon found ourselves in Hadley's Hope searching for survivors and clues as to what happened during the events of the Aliens movie. The level of detail even in this early build was quite impressive. Fans will clearly recognize the blueprints of the building and the labs housing the face-suckers. Things quickly turn dark for our band of marines as the sounds coming from the motion tracker become more urgent. Alien xenomorphs soon begin emerging from the ceiling air vents, taking many of your squadmates out in the process. The aliens move all along the ceiling and walls as easily as the floors, and they move quickly. You will really need to have your head on a swivel if you wish to keep it attached in this game! Better yet, bring some backup; Aliens: Colonial Marines supports 4 player co-op. As Pitchford announced this feature, a second Gearbox employee joined the demo. Much like Gearbox's recent hit, Borderlands, the additional player simply popped into existence and a message appeared on the screen stating that "player 2 had joined your party". Nothing was mentioned of this, but I noticed that the second player had some custom looking artwork on their armour hinting perhaps and some level of player customization.
Most of the action was standard FPS stuff, move from point A to point B and have a firefight, but along the way the engine showed off some survival horror effects (exploding lights, face-suckers throwing themselves at the inside of their glass cage towards you with the accompanying music queue) and other events like random marines being gruesomely dealt with by the aliens. We weren't shown any items other than the motion scanner, but we did get to see a few weapons including the pulse rifle and sentry turret.
Seal the door!
After the marines had decided to take a last stand, a giant firefight broke out, culminating in the alien queen bashing through the door and ending the demo with an ominous fade to black.
For those worried that an Aliens game can't live up to the hype, let me tell you that Pitchford and his Gearbox staff were visibly excited to be making this game, and very much knew their stuff about the Aliens universe. Pitchford was shouting out movie quotes throughout the demo, and mentioned that they had the chance to work with many people and assets from the film.
In addition a version of the game will make its way to the WiiU after its launch. While we don't know specifics on the WiiU version, it is easy to imagine a motion tracker on the controller screen. Pitchford would only say that Gearbox was proud to be one of the early recipients of the developer kit for the WiiU.
Aliens: Colonial Marines ships out Spring 2012 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Team Gouki got to sit down with Mike Z from Skullgirls this weekend at EVO 2011. Mike was most kind to give a complete walkthrough of a new Skullgirls character, Parasoul.
If you listen carefully Mike mentions how the code again was changed over night after some reaction from people playing with Parasoul on day 1 of EVO. Mike mentioned the same thing at E3, that code was constantly being rewritten and the game is different everyday. The man is dedicated and Skullgirls continues to amaze.
Exclusive Parasoul Character Demo EVO 2011
FnJimmy was definitely free on this night. It should be noted that he was also 100% sober & had just come from work when is brain was at it's freshest. Don't be a Jimmy!

I edited down just a little bit. Good luck understanding what any of the Final Fantasy XIII characters are talking about, the entire game is like this. The combat shows my strategy against Cid Raines.
Cid Raines beat the shit out of me for three days. It sucks that if the party leader dies, it's game over. I hate that about Final Fantasy XIII. I finally figured out how to beat him and I captured it. So I hope you enjoy. I editing the story a little to avoid spoilers and hopefully make a little more entertaining for you.

The glimmur oh hope has exploded into a Sun of love and...well it's not confirmed but I'm still EXCITED!
Daisuke Ishiwatari answered some Q&A at a recent BlazBlue tournament held by Arc Systems. He didn't say much, but what he did say pretty much seems like " Hey we're making another guilty gear ;D" Check out the quotes.
“I’m charging the energy to make it,”
“You won’t be disappointed. If we make one it will be surprisingly good with a new look you’ve never soon before. Existing characters are going to stay and we’ll be adding new characters.”
I've been waiting so long for a new guiltygear, my idea was always to keep it exactly like Accent-Core, and add the 3D characters from guiltygear2 in. Hopefully we get some solid info on where Ishiwatari is going with this, pelase post if you find anything :D GuiltyGear is and always will be my favorite fighter. Anyone else happy about a possible new GG? Or are you done with it/ don't care because you have BB ? Leave a comment below.
My experience with a great game.
Yes I said it, a great game so much so that right now I'm going though it on hard I need the points. I can't believe that Choke has more gamer points than me, the fuck. Anyways Darksiders is so much fun, the storyline is awesome, and the gameplay is right on I can't get enough on slashing and stabbing everyone. There are a good amount of different combos and weapons to choose from. Alright I'm done I'll be on the darksiders some more.
I bet you don't know hat it is. It's DEVIL KINGS 3!
Sengoku Basara 3 is CAPCOM answer to Tecmo Koei's Dynasty Warrior. It is an hack-and-slach game published and developer from CAPCOM.
The gameplay in the demo built was a little above normal. There are a few attacks, light, heavy, and the destroy button. It's when you pound enough guys and destroy half of Japan, you get an attack that whipes the rest of the field.
The game doesn't have online but will be released late this hoilday season, early spring for thr Playstaion 3 and Nintendo Wii.

A new cinematic trailer released for the newest expansion.
Hahaha I don't know what to say. It really looks too much like Kung Fu Panda.
I don't know if I should be in awe or should be laughing. This game is really on its last leg.
Still I enjoyed the trailer and thought the panda looked pretty cool ^^
Watch me get destroyed online. Watch how broken the online is. It'll be patched soon. Something is definitely wrong with the sound. A quick look at the generic team story lines. King trials. Poison's wonderful man breasts. Shout out to Capcom!
I've played the Street Fighter X Tekken since I made the video above. I'm enjoying it. I'm learning a lot with Hugo and King. I really like King. Some of the moves in the game are very unique. King has up forward and M for like a rising knee kick. It's pretty sweet and it chains four times in a 6 hit combo. Hugo has down, neutral, down and M for a rising knee. Yeah, I love it.
Keep an eye on the live stream twitch.tv/goukijones for a lot of training and special events this week.

A new expansion for Final Fantasy XI has been announced for 2013. Including new Job Classes and areas to explore. Man I miss this game.
I got into Final Fantasy XI way back when the Xbox 360 first came out. In fact the only 2 games I was playing on my Xbox 360 when I first got it was FFXI and Halo 2. I didn't have any 360 games. I played the shit out FFXI, I spent well over a year of real time in the actual game. Too much maybe, but there is so much stuff to do, it's endless. I loved how everything was set up from the job classes, to the traveling, the rival towns and the questing. Unfortunately I didn't have any friends in this game either so after a while it was hard for me to continue.
Check out the new content coming in 2012. I know it's a little rugged looking, but looks aren't everything and I always say, it's not about grpahics, it's about game play!
Anybody on Gouki still playing or want to play this with me? I'll start it up again right now! Vote, Comment and Share. Don't be a Jimmy!
