This is the most start and stop farming we've ever done in any game together.
Borderlands 2 Uranus
We've been farming Uranus for the last 3 days. At one point we did 8 hours straight in this boss fight. That's how we got the Pearl Rocket Launcher, Corrosive Conference Call and Corrosive Gatling Gun. I'm also using an Explosive Fastball Grenade and Grrrty is using a Slagged Magic Missile Grenade. I think we need to get her using the Fastball during this fight, he doesn’t seem to take slag damage. Plus Axton’s turrets are out almost the entire time and they have the slag gun attached to it.

Innovation that really changes the experience of games is something that a lot of developers can't get right. Here's a list of Gouki.com's most innovative things in video games from 2010.
Super Street Fighter IV - Replay channel
Watch random fights online while you cook breakfast. Sometimes even fights you've been in pop up or fights from people on you friends list. The SSF4 was a great way to learn street fighter as well.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit - The Autolog
Nothing else released this year made me want to play a game more than the Autolog. The competition of getting the fastest time on racing, or playing a cop intrigued me to no end. I'd stay up all night trying to figure out how this Jimmy (ThaBrad) got 10 seconds on some random interceptor challenge.
Fable III - Friend stats and updates
I have 0 STD's, Creasemonkey has 6. Erik Estrada has 27 kids. Man of Ponage has 22,000,000 gold. These stats would pop up constantly while you were playing. They were also in real time.
Smackdown VS Raw 2011 - Create a superstar
Where this feature has it woes, the outcome of what you can create is still amazing.
Halo Reach - menu
People do not realize how brilliant the Halo Reach menu is, that you can go through the entire menu. Check friends online, see friends armor sets, change your armor, buy armor, change your buttons, view the stats from the game, save a copy of the game. It's ridiculous. Every game should be like this.
Winners will be announced December 29th. Did we leave anything out? What's your favorite? Leave a comment below! AND don't forget to vote for your favorites in our Video Game Catalog.Read full story...

I recently got through playing this game, and wanted to write up a review explaining how I feel.
So I've played the Mario and Luigi games that came before this one, and loved both. I even went back and replayed superstar saga after I finished it, but unfortunately I didn't feel the same about this one. It was as if something was missing, or perhaps something was there that shouldn't have been.
Story: The story was actually pretty good. You start off in a meeting at Peaches castle in order to try and find a cure for a mysterious disease that has struck the mushroom kingdom .The Blorbs. It's making all of the Toads bloat up like party balloons and nobody knows how to get rid of it. A strange turn of events takes place in which Bowser is tricked into eating a strange mushroom which makes him inhale everybody at the meeting. Once inside Bowser it's up to you to find everybody else and help Bowser in his quest along the way.
The comedy was still there for me too. If you liked the charm and wit of the first two games I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Gameplay: This is where the game lost me. It's basically the same as the last two. Nothing really that groundbreaking as far as the combat goes, and even that's fine with me. My real irk with the gameplay is Bowser. Sure it sounds awesome at first. "Yay! I get to play as Bowser" I thought to myself with child-like enthusiasm, but halfway through the game my thoughts had drastically changed to "Why the hell am I still playing as Bowser?" It's just not the same. I thought I wanted what the game was advertising, but I was wrong. I have to admit there was an hour or so towards the end of the game in which I was having a blast, but it was only because I was playing as Mario and Luigi, but that was taken from me almost as soon as I started to have fun.
It wasn't all bad though. Some of the new special moves were pretty entertaining. Especially the one where you fed a bunch of food to Luigi and threw him at your enemies.
Graphics: The graphics are about the same as we've come to expect from the DS. Nothing really spectacular going on. It looks pretty much the same as Partners in Time did. The lack in a variety of enemies was fairly disappointing to me though. Most of the time I felt as if I was just fighting the same thing over and over again, and I don't remember feeling like that in the first two games. The environments inside Bowser get a bit stale too. They don't really change much. However in the mushroom kingdom you get to see some different places and a few of them are pretty cool. I particularly liked Bowser's castle.
Music and Sound Effects: The sound effects were pretty good, and the music helped keep a delightful feel around everything that was going on. The gloomy parts in the game sounded gloomy, and the happy times felt happy. I don't really have that much to say on the subject other than that. Nothing really wow'd me, but nothing left me feeling disappointed either.
Final Judgment: All of the elements of another great Mario and Luigi RPG seemed to be there, but the gameplay hindered it way too much for me. I'm not saying that it's a horrible game, but it didn't pull me in like the other ones did. Towards the end of the game it felt like a chore, but if you're a fan of the series at least give it a shot. It's not the game for me, but it might be for you.

The Biggest Zombies Experience to Date: Call of Duty: Black Ops II Zombies features three different ways to survive the zombie apocalypse. Unravel the mysteries of a dying Earth in Tranzit, fight endless waves of zombies in Survival mode, or compete in the new 4z4 last-human-standing mode, Grief.
1-4 player co-op in a large open world with a variety of locations. The new Buildables gameplay elements help players move through each area to find the key tidbits that reveal why they are there and what they must do to survive. All the while, public transportation is still operational, as a bus will regularly stop at each location. Zombies ride for free.
Recreating the classic mode of just purely surviving the shambling, incoming Zombie horde, Survival mode allows you to play 1-4 players co-op in specific locations from the much larger Tranzit area.
You and friends can take on up to 4 people in a team vs. Zombies vs. team scenario. 2-8 players are thrown in a situation to be the last humans standing.
MP Technology with Zombies: Call of Duty: Black Ops II features new and extensive stat tracking as well as leaderboards for bragging rights. New skill-based matchmaking system will allow players of the same ability to take on the horrors of the night in public game modes. For players that are looking for an extra challenge, Zombies features custom games: Headshots only, higher starting rounds, and toggling of extra items are all available.

Check out the Review of Vanquish by Cinderkin.
Vanquish, Vanquish, Vanquish.... What can I say about this game? To put it nicely it's Garbage!
I've been playing the campaign and let me tell you, unless you have a 90' Tv chances are you won't be able to see the enemies very clearly. Not to say that most enemies are tiny, just saying there is too much going on screen at once. It makes things hard to keep track of. Now you may be thinking "well you just don't like fast paced shooters." That isn't the case. I actually really enjoy the speed aspect of this game. I also like how the main characters suit, weapons, and power ups look. On a visual level the game is pretty good looking. Gameplay suffers from an awkward control scheme, and the voice work could use a new script... fast!
I only played through training and Act 1, so this review is based on that.
Vanquish stars some dude named Sam (I think, wasn't really paying attention). His mission is to stop a terrorist threat. Who are the terrorist in this game? Well it's Russia because we all know they are one of the most over used countries to portray antagonist. So why not use them again here.
Anyway Vanquish has a story that has been over done so many times, I seriously thought I was playing Win Back Covert Ops on the N64 after the first cut-scene.
I honestly don't even want to talk about it, because it's that boring.
1. Terrorist Strike the US
2. They make some outlandish demands
3. A hero emerges to stop them
Do I need to go on?
The characters in vanquish are what you would expect from a Japanese game, except that the game takes place in the US. It is pretty odd to see the Japanese and Western styles merge here.
The main character (what's his name?) is a tool. He acts like a Hot Shot and is only a Hot Shot because I am good at the game. He's not a character that gets the player to even care about him in the slightest.
There are some other characters, but I haven't played enough of the game to even see most of them.
The gameplay in Vanquish is pretty much a clone of Gears of War. I'm not saying that is a bad thing, but the only thing it has that is different is the ability to slide across the ground and slow down time (aka bullet time). As cool as it is at first, the novelty quickly wears off. The button layout is abysmal due to the game following the Gears formula so heavily.
The dive or dodge button is where you expect it to be, while the cover button is not. picking up weapons and ammo is an easy affair (just push and hold a certain button), but it would have been a lot simpler to just walk over the ammo to take it. It's not like I don't want to refill my ammo during a fire fight.
Other than that the game doesn't have a whole lot going for it. Which is really unfortunate.
The music in vanquish is not for everyone. I mean who the hell wants to listen to a 10 second song loop for the entire duration of a mission? What is this NES days? Are they serious?
The voice work is crap too. Don't get me wrong, the character voices aren't annoying in the least bit. It's just the script is so cheesy you'll wonder what Platinum Games was thinking. The lip syncing is off too.... way off (can anyone say Godzilla?)
Just incase your unaware of what I mean... When someone stops talking their mouths still move. Lame! This is 2010, lets get with the program.
The game looks great! I can't complain about that. From what I witnessed the game had no frames drop during the crazy actions moments. Which is great seeing how many things are on screen at once. The game isn't the most stunning visuals I've ever seen, but they are very nice none the less.
The cut-scenes are nicely done too, well the action ones are. It's too bad the cheesy one liners ruin some of the better moments.
For those completion whores out there, be ready for a pretty easy ride. Vanquish offers a pretty easy list of achievements/trophies. Nothing to difficult, and pretty uninspired as well.
If any of you Jimmys can get past the first act, and can find a reason to keep going let me know. Prove me wrong and give me a good reason to pick this game back up and finish it. As for right now Vanquish is a huge let down...
BOTTOM LINE: RENT IT!
Vanquish is availible for the PS3 and Xbox 360 October 19, 2010
