Producer and graphic designer of famous games like SF4 series, Onimusha and many MegaMans, Keiji Inafune has been at work since his Capcom leave.
The two companies are called Intercept and Comcept. They are both very small sites with some basic info, but it's heading in th right direction. Also both companies have a capital of 10 million Yen.
Intercept is his gaming company. The front page of the site states Intercept. Inc will challenge the game market, and that they make their games by "3 keywords" http://inter-cept.co.jp/

Wow, thats alot. Seems as if Intercept will be designing the games where Comcept does everything else around that with the marketing and managing. Any big Inafune fans here? Beig his own boss, it's going to be very interesting to see what his company creates. Especially with the 3 Goals of Intercept, hope he stays close to that. Skullgirls, a 2D fighter mainly featuring small girls with epic cleavage. For some info check out Cinderkin's story http://gouki.com/Story/Details/skullgirls-is-coming-this-year. What got me interested in this game is the fact that it reminds me of GuiltyGear and Arcana Heart, that is a playstyle match made in heaven <3 Enjoy the trailer guys.

Kirby's Epic Yarn came out recently...they are already working on another one!
Wow...Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata revealed a new Kirby game is in the works for the Wii. Still no name for it yet but it is being produced by HAL and so far has schedualed release for this year. It goes back to simple Kirby games with a touch of old-school graphics ; in the end it looks like a GC game, but the gameplay looks rather fun. A lot of comments are speaking of how this was a game supposedly to be released on GC years ago, but now will be a wiiware download.What do you guys think of this? Anyone remember the original Gamecube version? Even though Epic Yarn brought us a whole new dimension of kirby and what he is capable of...this game is looking pretty...fun.

Capcom Unity is listening to the fans. They made 2 topics for you to put in which characters you want, last time they did this those characters were put in vanilla sf4.
Rules are simple, post a minimum of 3 characters you want and a maximum of 5. Thats it, not chatting, pictures or whatever, just your list. You only get to vote once and don't vote on characters who are based on real people. VOTING ENDS FEB.19NTH!

Third Strike Online coming this August with a load of sweet off/on-line features.
Third Strike Online Edition is coming out August 23-24 (psn and xbl). Trailer was released showing us what has been added to the game and it's gotten me really pumped. Features include:
- GGPO Netcode (one of the best around, shouldn't be too much complaining about online play)
- Trial mode with "hundreds" of challenges. The layout looks cool.
- # visual modes! Classic, Arcade and HD wide.
- 8-person Tournament mode
- Spectator mode (yes!)
- A vault. You earn points online and spend them to get collectables ( like artwork and probably special videos)
- Godlike replay technology. This is what has gotten me the most excited. Besides the typical viewing replays and creating history, you can live stream and upload directly to youtube! (Fingers crossed for UMVC3 to implement something this in depth)

Playstation Network has been offline for about 2 weeks and that simply sucks. See how it has affected my play-styles and view of offline gaming. What have you been doing with your PS3 the last two weeks?
Oh How I should have traded it in for a PRAYstation while I had the chance; joking. PSN has been down a while as all of you may know, and it sucks. Right before PSN went down, I bought PS cards to download ArcanaHeart 3, MoonDiver dlc pack 1, and Steel Rain Map Pack for Killzone3. What has really bummed me out was the ArcanaHeart part , no rhyme intended. Could have been learning a new game while PSN was offline. Whch leads me too the off-line gaming I've been doing ever since.
Been buying Odin's Beer offline in Marvel Vs.Capcom 3. For the first time, I've been using training mode as a vs. match (taking away health regenerations and treating it like a real match). Most people I know have been busy with finals week, so not being able to get together to play and not have the option to play online is a double whammy. Playing certain CPU teams on highest difficulty over and over again has made me realize a few things. Fist, I am impatient and screw up pretty badly when people have great defense ; do some unsafe stuff. Second, I don't push block physical attacks at the right situation too often and last, CPU's have the stupidest (and by stupid I mean amazingly beastly) hit-confirms ever. But why does this matter? CPUs aren't as good as high level people that i for sure, but it has definitely stepped up by game. Knowing one mistake leads into a ridiculous combo that won't be missed and will most likely be maximized, knowing as soon as I press a button the game reads it and reacts ridiculously fast to what I do has definitely made me improve.
Bulletstorm....hooooooooly sh*t I put you in my PS3 again?! Yea, even though MVC3 has taken up most of my offline time, I played a little Echo Mode. Echo was the "multiplayer" game mode where you play parts of the single player and post your highscore on leaderboards. So basically it is only part of a full level, and no cutscenes ; lame. But I didn't care to go through the story again and this was actually fun. Just nonsense violence and remembering how fun it was when i first got the game, messing around with Skillshots. I just had to take a break from the game after how disappointed it made me, and come back to it realizing how much i enjoyed it ; like a bad spouse. The best part was the ultimate eyegazm of the game. When i first bought it, and played on my supr old half-assed TV, I was blown away by the graphics. Last week I got my first HDMI tv with the HD cables... Breathetaking.
Even though I've been obsessed with MVC3 on/offline, I still love SSF4. But the CPU in ssf4 isn't nearly as annoying in Marvel, or good. This lead to me being incredibly bummed out, because the SSF4 players I know work when I am off work, good stuff. Luckily for me, Arcade Edition recently game to Maui (FINALLY!!!!) It was incredibly fun; not really. Was nice seeing first hand how my characters changed and how the new ones felt, but I am a pad player for ssf4. And the only stick I can kind of play on it is the mvc3 from gouki.com ;)

But the arcade parts we received are complete ass. Instead of a ball-type stick, it's the long joystick type and the buttons are old-crappy re-used ones from the old SF4 machine (or so it seems). In all AE was cool, got to play with a friend who was beasting with E.Ryu but I don't like paying $1 a game on a uncomfortable layout.
I was so bored at one point, I played with one character at a time on Moon Diver, slowly leveling them up (so much faster online). Luckily for me, one night some friends weren't busy, and we hardcore grinded out some Moon Diving. Been a while since we had the chance and simply was loads of fun. Lots of yelling "OH DUDE" and" shi....NOOOOOO" . Plenty of hype over hack n slash craziness. but even with all the levels we gained, still couldn't beat that stupid Firebird boss....
Last but not least...AMMMMMERRRRRIIIICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Red Dead Redemption was another game whos graphics blew me away on my old crap TV. That being said you already know I had a second eyegazm on my new one. Besides that, I went back to Undead Nightmare and tried to make it a bit more challenging. The first time I played through it it felt way too easy after the first few towns are cleared. So this time I only used the first pistol and a shotgun, and walked into the largest hordes of zombies I can find, seeing how long I can last with carefully aimed shots and barrel rolls. It didn't keep my interest for long but was pretty fun anyway.
For the most part, that concludes my adventures as I get deeper into my finals in school . Also http://blog.us.playstation.com/ said some services will be up this week, seeing that it's Thursday I really hope that PSN will be up before Saturday. I am big on online gaming ever since I got my PS3. I used to play gamecube, and when I got a Wii I rarely went online because of how bad it was. So I used to appreciate off-line gaming then, but when I got a PS3 that changed. I can see how I've been spoiled by always wanting to play other people, and how that is a needed experience for me. PSN being down does suck, but it allowed me to enjoy some simplicities of offline that I've been ignoring. Hope you enjoyed reading about my experiences, have anything similar? Skullgirls may be more technical than you think.
In this video uploaded by http://www.youtube.com/user/TheBBVlog we get the lowdown on Cerebella, a grappler and Filia an all around fighter. The guy explains her moves and what she can do, the games mechanics really do sound appealing. The game also has Push Blocking, instant air dashes and Delayed Hyper Combos. He also displays more of the Infinite Detention system that allows you to burst, and calling assists to do unblockables (hitting low and high) I'm still not down with the art style, but it may grow on me. So I took notes on what he says, check it out and the video below.
- Close Command grab
-Far reach command grab that whiffs when close (can follow up with it)
-Anti air command grab (can combo into it)
-Air to ground command grab
-Air fierce clap (like Hulk) that can also glide.
-Slow-ass super armor run that can cross up, attack or stop
-Overhead command grab..that OTG'S...and staggers (so you can combo after it) Most OP thing I've heard of
-Rush punch like Makotos
- Supers with HUGE startup, but no startup upon Delayed Hyper Combo (DHC)
- can flick away projectciles shot at her (Just like potempkin in GuiltyGear)
-ground projectile drills (Exactly like Eddie in Guilty Gear)
- Rolling attack that can combo (similiar to Felicia)
-Air grab, that can be comboed into air roll
-Decent supers that can be comboed into, one is a uppercut
-sliding move that causes knockdown
-can special / normal into super, even if it whiffs!

Bulletstorm doesn't suck so much afterall! DLC announced and it is sounding gooooood.
First off, theirs already day 1 dlc which is called Standard Online Pass for $9.99/800 MSP, it gives you 6 bonus Echo levels (we ended up getting this a long with pre-order bonus ;D )
Screw Echo thats lame, the fun comes this SPRING! With the Gun Sonata pack for the same price. This DLC pack comes with much more though.
THREE new maps for Anarchy multiplayer mode, Sewers of Stygia, Hotel Elysium, and the Villa.
Two new Echo maps, Crash Site and Guns of Stygia (mehhhhh, gonna be a while before I could give a damn about this game-mode)
And two new Leash colors, Flamingo and Pulp. I'm guessing pink and orange? PINK LEASH SOUNDS AWESOME! Maybe they will have a different function aswell. (customizing your characters clothes a long with gun and leash are actually a nice touch in multiplayer)
Once again, this pack will be released this Spring for 800 msp/$9.99 on XBL and PSN.

So what do you guys think of the DLC? I think it's worth it if you are into all the game modes...maybe $7.99 would feel a bit more reasonable, but since I strongly dislike Echo ( I might grow to like it) it feels like a $5 DLC for me. Leave your commnets below on what you think, jimmy!

Everything has a bundle pack these days! I was really into Socom 2 back in the day. I have yet to try to early beta key for S4 (will get on it soon) but I'm sure it's gonna be sweet. What makes this a bonus tempting offer is that I don't have eye cam or any Move/accesories whatsoever. Also what makes it even a bigger bonus is being able to use it on other games like Killzone 3 http://gouki.com/Story/Details/killzone-3-gun-peripherals-galore-which-will-you-choose. Pretty good deal for $150 considering this stuff seperately is around $220. Ontop of all of that, pre-ordering gets you 2 bonus slug shotguns, and if you pre-order from Gamestop you get a bonus Suppression map, “Abandoned,” from socom 1 and 2.
The other part of the news is the Covert Missions. You play as a South Korean
lady who sneaks around and pwns dudes. She specializes in stealth, slipping into the night messing up enemy operations.
The special bundle packs and pre-orders are really getting to me these days. Years ago I didn;t care but now I feel I HAVE TO pre-order stuff for extras. Many bundle packs haven't gotten my attention but this definately does.... (that wink-face looks horrible,lol). Hope this beta key gets me back into SOCOM, I always enjoyed the tactical playstyle of the game instead of the run-of-the-mill shooter. Do you guys like this mighty bundle pack and stealthy missions? Making fighters a bit more "realistic".
Sony's NGP has some badassnice ideas for a fighting game. Using the built-in camera you can take a picture of your face and map it to the character. Another cool trick with the camera is taking a pic of the place where you want to battle. The game also have 12 different fighting styles, a bunch of costumes and around 200 weapon-types.
Ballet style FOR THE WIN! The game apparently has a Tekken feel (not nearly as deep) and will be launched with the NGP. How does this sound to you jimmy's? Looks nifty to mess around with. Leave your thoughts in a comment.
PC MMO Free Realms has come to PSN and is now available for free download, but is it your type of game?
Free Realms is a MMO with many capabilities and activities to keep you busy. The game features Demolition Racing, character customization with classes, pets that poop coal, fighting monsters, mounts, building houses and lots more.
The only problem is that the game is extremely Disney-Esque, making it very unapealing to most mature gamers, which is a shame due to how much you can do in this game. You could treat it as a MMO and lvl up raiding dungeons, or you could be into Minecraft type of games and build houses, or just chill with your friends doing random crap. The game does feature voice chat and trophies though, so with the right friends it could be pretty entertaining.
And if you want more, the membership upgrade is optional, starting a $4.99 per month. Membership grants you unlimited access to all jobs, as well as premium content such as housing, trophies, exclusive items, and monthly members rewards. Whoopie.
