Bringing the new generation of World Warriors to new consoles, Street Fighter III: Third Strike – Online Edition takes one of the deepest, most sophisticated fighting games of all time online with an arcade perfect re-creation.
Featuring the unique and memorable characters of the Street Fighter III series, GGPO-enabled online allows players to use their technical moves – like the series-defining parry system – in a seamless, arcade-like environment. High-quality, HD-filtered graphics emphasize the smooth animation, a vault of unlockables allow for replayability, and an integrated leaderboard combined with an extensive and viral replay sharing system encourage players to bring their A-game. It's be sold for $14.99 for PSN and 1,200MS Points for the Xbox and be released later this year.
GGPO-Enabled Online Play: SFIII will be the first pure fighting game to use true GGPO-enabled online functionality, allowing for pixel-perfect arcade play online, including a matching system and leaderboards.
Unchanged Arcade Gameplay: The deep, technical gameplay and parry system has come to be considered one of the most sophisticated in the fighting genre. This has been left pure and untouched.
Upgraded Visuals: Taking a page from the successful transition of Final Fight to the HD generation, SFIII will allow for a variety of HD filtering options, allowing players customize their viewing experience to how they like it, even playing in an arcade cabinet!
Replay Sharing: Not only will players be able to watch their own or other people’s replays in-game, but they will also be able upload replays to YouTube.
Watch with Friends: A new channel will be available that will have an ongoing, live feed of the best match being played at that moment.
Special Features and Unlockables: A “Vault” system allows players to engage in a new metagame, while unlocking comics, fan art, and other assets to enjoy.

seriously it's a game? Where the fuck is the game play then?
The video looks good and I've enjoyed the character class reveals they have given us. But are we buying a movie or a game? Why at E3 would you not show how good the game plays? The pre E3 videos were better. But it is a Star Wars game so it would sell like crazy with a black box without a picture because of the army of fanboys out there. But not even a release date, what a load of crap. Come on guys.
Not the E3 video
I'll add the E3 video when they upload it.
Here it is, not the official one yet.
How much longer do you think they will drag this out? Will we be seeing it again at E3 next year? I want it to hurry up and get on the PC so they can port it to a console for me.

These videos look good, but I'm just getting another DLC pack for Black Ops, why the rush?
I guess they showed this on the Microsoft press confrence since they get the DLC first. As you see the gameplay you can see that these systems aren't dead yet. The graphics for in came look better than some of the CG in other games.
But with these games being put out so ofter I hesitate to buy another one. The DLC is still a week away from bieng released on the PS3, but they have another game coming this soon. I can understand that they want to cash in. But are they just putting these games out to close together? They don't really change very much from game to game, so you are mostly paying for new levels. Right now Just the base game and two DLC packs have people out $90 and now they want to see another $60. And there will be another one, and another one. When will gamers get tired of having their wallets get hit constantly? You add some underwater play, that's cool but what else will really be new?
I enjoy the games offline, but the multi-player is what keeps these games popular and if you release them this close together you will kill off that fan base. Hell I probably wouldn't have COD Black Ops on my shelf if it was for being able to play online with friends and family.

The Microsoft E3 2011 Press conference just wrapped up. How did it go? Here's what you need to know.
Another year, another Microsoft E3 press event. No Cirque du Soleil nonsense this year, just a straight up media briefing with tons of trailers and demos.
Here's a quick run down of what I saw.
- Gears of War 3 campaign looks as good as you'd expect. Plus Ice-T was on stage wearing a kick ass GoW3 shirt.
- Mass Effect 3's Kinect enabled voice commands. Garrus, move up. Liara, use Singularity. Awesomesauce. Probably not enough to make me want a kinect, but cool.
- Kinect easy avatar creation with fun labs (out now!) I've been waiting for this since avatars came out, I have a xbl vision camera gathering dust.
- Starting off with MW3 and Tomb Raider was a bit weird. I don't know why the console makers feel the need to show off multi-platform games at their press conferences.
- Halo: CE Anniversary, an HD remake of the first Halo game. Looks cool, but also looks like it's going to be a full price game. #ripoff
- You're showing off Forza 4 with a Top Gear license... Where's the Stig? (For that matter where were any of the Top Gear crew?)
- Kinect football running in place.
- Two words: FIST BUMP!
- Fable the Journey Kinect game, waving your arms around like a Jimmy. I'd rather not.
An honorable mention must be made to the Halo 4 teaser and Tomb Raider for both being Fall 2012 games, meaning we'll see them at next year's E3 as well. #toosoon

Looks like the E3 trailer got leaked early.
his trailer doesn't have any gameplay, but it looks pretty cool. I'm not sure how it's going to play out, but I'm starting to think Left 4 Dead. Four person squad shooter with zombies, but hopefully this one will be better. I'm not the biggest Resident Evil fan, but I definitely enjoy the games, and this one is looking fantastic so far.
Unfortunately the video got set to private, but here's a link to it.
A top seven list for most anticipated of E3 2011!
What up Jimmies? No one likes to read, so here's my top seven most anticipated games of E3!
Other games that didn't make the cut;
Alan Wake 2(?)
Soul Calibur 5
Ghost Recon: Furture Soldier
Ninja Gaiden 3
and more!!! The best year to be a gamer!!!
A very weird cartoon will probably mean a very weird game.
The game Ugly Americans: Apocalysegeddon is based on a TV show on Comedy Central. If you never watched it I can explain real quick. The main character is a social worker for monsters. He helps them adapt and find a place in the world. They go though some really weird shit. His roomate and friend is a sex obsesed zombie. His co-worker is a drunk wizard. His girlfriend is a sucubus. And his boss is a demon trying to bring the world to it's end. There is also a human cop who is always trying to arrest or kill his monster clients. So yeah it's pretty strange. I'm not sure how they are planning to turn it into a game though. On gamasutra they say it will be a four player side scrolling shooter that you can download for $10. There are supposed to be more details given at E3.

Now this trailer starts off saying "Actual Gameplay footage" Bethesda knows to show off the goods. The only problem is ...
The only problem is there doesn't look like there is anything special about this game except the graphics. And I don't give a fuck about graphics. Standard guns, you got a boomerang rail tool for your left hand and that's it. The city and the environments look cool and that will probably be enough for me to play Rage. Otherwise it just looks like another FPS still.

I understand that it is E3 time and people want to show what they play to do with games. Remember Deus Ex, that had a similar trailer. Months later it's like the same thing Dragon Age 1 did. Beautiful trailer, in-game stick figures. WTF.
Who is at fault here? I don't suspect the developers are at fault, their actually building the game and I would think they would want to show it off. Publishers want to show these pretty little videos to board members. Gamers have to be smarter than this.
This trailer looks amazing and if game play is exactly like this, Prey 2 could be awesome. But actually game play will not look like this trailer. Enjoy it for what it's worth. Just remember in 6 months when you see more actual game play, you'll be thinking ... wtf?
