Immediately reminds me of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra?!
WTF am I saying. I’m saying the truth! Ok maybe it’s the other way around since Marvel Alliance 1. G.I. Joe probably tried to copy Marvel Alliance. Regardless, there already seems to be way more thought and depth to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. MAU2 is a beat‘em up style with RPG elements The game overall kind of reminds me of Gauntlet or TMNT.
I just beat the first boss, Electro. Whipped his ass easily. I set the game difficulty on hard, there is a hardest mode, but it’s locked.
Uh-oh moral decisions … Why can’t I just pound the shit out Jimmys and be done with? The choices I first had were not clear if they were good or bad. One told me I was diplomatic and the other said I was defensive. Hmm, I’ll have to figure out which one is the most evil as I go on.
What’s wrong with Gambit’s face Jimmy? His nose is huge and well, he just looks really fucked up. That’s one of the worst character models. Let’s see if he pwns.
Gambit seems to be weak at the moment, but I’ll level him up. Juggernaut rails though forget it! Juggernaut and Gambit team up to do a fusion technique. Juggernaut pulls a huge chunk of the earth or floor up, Gambit throws a bunch of charge cards into and then Juggernaut slams it into the enemies. Totally awesome!
Now I’m starting to get the dungeon crawler feel. I like it. This game is fun so far and I will continue to play it. I’ll let you know how I feel about the entire game when I beat it.

Imagine a 3DS folded open with the 3D slider turned all the way down. Now imagine it for sale for $129. Meet the 2DS.
When I first heard the name, I thought it was fake... an Internet troll had won the day. Not so... The 2DS is real and it will hit store shelves on October 12 for $129.99. It plays all the same games as the 3DS, just not in 3D.
So here it is...
Yup, looks about what I expected. Here's a video with more:
So what do you think? Is this better or worse than the clamshell 3DS? I certainly don't care for the 3D part of the 3DS as it hurts my eyes. I wonder if the battery life will be better on this model?

gears of war 3 story or online?
ive seen alot of people buy some games. and play them just for the story and i seen some people buy some games for the online gameplay. ever since online gameplay has exsisted. like why would people even bother buying a game for the online gameplay if the story is really good. for example there are some people out there saying that black ops sucks online but the story is badass. so the majority of the people that i know that are going to buy gears of war 3 is for the story not the online gameplay. although i would probably buy it because of both reasons. cause in the first gears of war the most thing that i found intriguing was the storyline.im not sure if you guys saw this online or on tv but cliff blenzinski said this way back in like 2006 .that one of the main things that they were focusing on on gears of war was story line. when i first grabbed a copy of gears of war thats the first thing i noticed about the game the story. not the online gameplay i think thats why gears of war has been able to compete with most games out there. the online gameplay is not that bad either. but in gears of war 3 i think there trying to focus more on the gameplay. rather than the story the graphics i think have been tweaked a little bit but when you think about it gears of war is a game thats has a good story with all those other elements that make a good game.
C.Viper seen in a silhouette at MarvelvsCapcom3.com
Seen on http://www.eventhubs.com/
Capcom posted a new silhouette image of various Marvel vs. Capcom 3 characters on their official website.
As you can see, this very closely matches her artwork for vanilla Street Fighter 4, and it seems quite likely she'll be in the upcoming game. Other readers spotted what appears to be Frank West's outline in other silhouette images as well, although he still hasn't been confirmed yet.

You can not stop the night from coming.
I am loving this game. This is my favorite 2018 Indie game to date. I can not stop digging. It has everything I love in a thrilling game play experience. You can build giant forts and setup a defense with turrets and traps. There are tons of places for exploration and many different materials to farm. There are over a hundred different things to craft including guns, armor, doors, and power generators. There is an entire water pressure dam system you can design and build on your own. That’s how you generate power for teleporters, doors, and turrets. I’m telling you, it's incredible!

I use every bullet I have on the first boss...
I played the first level of Vanquish at E3. The game is really smooth. It plays like Gears of War on speed. You mostly rely on cover, but you can move so fast from one to the next and shuffle around behind it. The graphics look great and the control is spot on when moving around. I had a little bit of trouble with the targetting mechanic as it didn't "pop and lock" when I held down the aim button like most western shooters I'm used to (and I think the sensitivity was dialed way up from where I like it).
My only dissapointment was the lack of multiplayer despite the fact that you are rolling with a squad. I'm still interested in playing this though.
Check out this quick video of me playing Vanquish at Sega's E3 booth.

After an 8 month hiatus of the game I have returned to defeat the Archdemon and his wicked ways.
It was 8 months ago when I slayed my last Darkspawn. I remember the huge dragon waiting high above in the canyon peak. I could see him if I angled myself right. All I have to do is go whack that Chinese gong and I know he'll come down to see who is making all that racket. I know this, because I have been foolish enough to whack that gong before. I got frickin' railed. Anyway that was 8 months ago. I've been Fiending for a new adventure and I remember that Dragon Age Origins - even though Papabear destroys it in Vlog #11 - had some elements of RPG's that I do enjoy. Something about it had me hooked. I just can't remember.
So I popped that disc in the Xbox yesterday, INSTALLED it on the hard drive - That's right I'm serious. It's been so long since I played and the game knew this. Every step of the way when I first started it gave me pop ups for all the controls and how stuff worked. That was cool, that helped me get back into it even faster. It didn't take long for me to start switching up during combat, changing weapons on the fly, making potions and poisons and of course getting weapons augmented. Enchantment? Enchantment!! The retard dwarf child in the game is still something I'm getting used to.
When I stopped playing 8 months ago, I was totally lost. I never used the internet on Dragon Age Origins. That moratorium had been lifted for this second visiting. The thing I couldn't find before, sitting right next to me when I loaded up the game. I didn't even have to fuck with that dragon and that gong. Proper Nuab! So now I'm rolling, I got the ashes, this Jimmys is coming back to life and there mo Darkspawn in Denerim then a muthafucka! I played for 10 hours straight last night. I unlocked 5 achievements (in ya face!) Today when I got up I was ready to go to The Battle of Denerim.
If you've read this far, you should know that Dragon Age Origins is a very deep and tactical dungeon crawling RPG from Bioware. The same Jimmys that make Mass Effect and Knights of the Old Republic. Two of my favorite games of all time. Dragon Age Origins is a spiritual successor to a game called Baldur's Gate and if you don't know what that is then you're probably screwed with me explaining anymore.
Here's another twist you can freeze the game at any point and give your team - who you get to hand pick before you leave camp - an order to carry out on the battlefield. OR there's a tactics menu where you can program a party member do perform a certain way in a certain situation. The Archer for example could be programmed to switch weapon sets on the fly depending on if he/she is getting hit by ranged attacks or melees. Programmed to use items when he/she is in peril and of course buff themselves with Focus aim and other archer type abilities. You can also program special attacks and moves that require another party members for some serious devistation. Very similar to Final Fantasy XII, which is my favorite Final Fantasy combat system. Well I love Final Fantasy Tactics. Oh no I'm blithering blathering.
Dragon Age Origins doesn't have great graphics, but they aren't bad either. This is a PC type game. It's not really designed to look like a God of War III. DAO is about depth and combat. Besides the final battle and some of the other sequences of the game look really amazing. Don't worry about the graphics Jimmy.
I'm close to 60 hours and now that I have to go backwards a little bit, I'm sure it will be well over 60 hours. Yeah I thought I was a bad ass going up to the Archdemon, turns out I was very ill prepared. First of all it took me like 2 hours to fight my way to him. Then I spent about another 2 hours fighting him, because I died like 4 times. If I only had more magic potion, we'd be talking about the ending of the game right here. So I went back a few saves and I know now to **Pro-Tip** go to the Elf camp and make a shit load of potions. Don't be a Jimmy!
There's tons of DLC for the game, hell there's a whole-notha disc called Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening with new characters and missions to do. It's like $28 and Dragon Age Origins keeps a pretty good MSRP of $38 or so. So it's still popular. I know Estrada loved it. Irrelevant. I definitely think it's worth the $38 bucks. Plus there's other DLC options to choose from too like 3 or 4 different missions. I'm probably gonna pick up Awakening now, just because I need the adventure to continue.
I would say Dragon Age Origins is a buy. If you're into pure tactility and really setting up a whole party very strategically, you have got to at least try this game. Get addicted!
