This is a 10 minute video. There's definitely a lot of stuff coming in the 2.1 A Realm Awoken patch. If you're still playing or haven't started yet, there's tons to look forward to here.

Oh man there's so much going on I don't know where to start. We will be live on Gouki.tv all day long on Dec. 17 playing the new content & dungeons. Let's see, I want to do the treasure hunting, the hard mode dungeons, the PVP, the this, the that ... I'm excited! Too bad I think the GIL market is going to crash. Although I'm still uncertain on what may happen, I'm hoping that the housing adds enough new angles to make money, that I'm still interested in getting the GILz in 2.1.

Tune in live to Gouki.tv on Dec. 17 to watch all of the new content kill me.

Final Fantasy XIV 11/19 patch notes

By: BatRastered Nov 19, 2013 | 1 Comments

Some very minor changes were made last night.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Hot Fixes (Nov. 19)
- Items that can be obtained from the two chests in “The Binding Coil of Bahamut – Turn 1” have been adjusted.

- Addressed a coding issue which occasionally caused a server to crash during a trade.

- An issue wherein a player would lose control of their character while crafting has been addressed.

Got Titan down last night. All I did was watch. It's not easy your first couple of time Jimmy. You have to memorize his patterns & his patterns are deep. Here's how it looked from my WARRIOR's perspective ... watching.

Shout out to TAW.net. Thats the FC I roll with on Malboro server. Old time Gouki pal Erik Estrada leading the way. Don't be a Jimmy! Got that Scholar book too. Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnuab!

GoukiJones & FnJimmy talk about Final Fantasy XIV & other Square Enix games at E3 2013.

Murdered Soul Suspect was 1 of the worst demos I saw. Besides that Wolfenstein shit. Another freezing dark room packed full of Jimmys. I was literally holding myself up from falling over. Because of what happened during this demo I have made a new rule to sit/stand near the door of game I don't know anything about. I so wanted out of that room.

"Excuse me, pause for a second." Then I get up & stumble out over 20 nuabs sitting on the floor. Dear god never again!

I'm super hype for the Final Fantasy XIV. I've been playing in the beta the last 2 weeks & have already logged well over 40+ hours. They did a really good job on COMPLETELY REMAKING THE ENTIRE GAME. Again I digress, BatRastered had the best take.

"Isn't it just XI HD?" Yep.

Thief. Thief looked so bad during the press conference or where ever I saw that game play demo. Maybe the Keighly. The characters just running up to you to get smacked & the terrible, horrible animation. 2004 type shit. Pass.

I played the FFX remake for like 15 minutes. All I watched were cut scenes with 0 skipping abilities. Fuck that.

Then there was something called Final Fantasy XIII-2 X3 4 Jimmys Lighting Returns. Ridiculous! Why can't Square let go of that horrible game?!

I am hype for that Final Fantasy XV tho. Even tho none of it is quite real just yet.

Thanks for watching & reading.

How do you make money gathering? Here's a few tips on leveling optimally & making dat GIL at the same time.

Leves are a great way to gain some good XP on your way to your next level, but what if you're out of leves or you just want to save them for crafting? Get your daily Grand Company gathering missions done. Only turn in HQ items for a maximum bonus. How to make GIL with this method. Gather an extra group of 10 or 20 HQ items. Put them on the MB (in groups of 10 only) to sell it to the lazy gatherers that just want to turn it in real quick.

Take left over NQ items & put them on the MB for as cheap as possible. Most items sell back to vendors for only 1 GIL, so anything more than a GIL is worth it. Just get rid of that inventory. I for 1, don't have any room to hang on to NQ nubfarm items.

Final tip here is to always check the board to see what is selling high that day you plan to level. Check what area you're going to & what items are available. Make sure you get 99 of those during your gathering. With decent gear you should pull 30-40 HQ items you can sell too. Deals Jimmy!

Bottom line here, always check your Grand Company daily quests. Know what items are peaking on the Market Board & grab some of those. It's okay to get back a few levels too because you can get extra HQs & extra HQs mean extra GIL!

Don't be a Jimmy! Thanks for watching/reading.

So You Thing You Can Gather airs every Thursday on Gouki.tv. You can find me on Malboro rolling with [FC] TAW.
