During Microsoft's conference, they announced a new 360 model.

Okay, so Microsoft's E3 conference was admittedly pretty weak.  But there was a highlight moment - at least for some - at the end of their conference.  Microsoft announced a new 360 SKU - a 360 with a redesigned case and built-in WiFi.  The new 360 SKU will supposedly release at $300, probably phasing out the old Elite models.  There is one other big deal here, and this one some might consider HUGE: the new 360 SKU will be released this week!  I'm a bit surprised that the retailers were able to keep the news under wraps for so long, but I guess keeping it a secret paid off; surprise is rampant, and I'm sure that consumer interest in the 360 has just been respawned.

Looks like the older versions are getting a $50 haircut too... Good news.

@BatRastered: Yeah, I saw that on Gamestop's site earlier today. Pretty awesome. There's a bundle with an Elite (120GB) plus Halo ODST and Forza 3 for $249.99.
