The game will take place 17 years after Soul Calibur IV and add new gameplay elements alongside an improved battle system, and the online aspects have been expanded, as have the character customization options. Again, there'll be a historical story as a backdrop to the fighting for the eponymous weapon, with the tale of Patroklos, the son of Sophitia Alexandra being at the center of the games story.
