You can now vote on Catalog items that have been released. Each vote is worth 15,000 points Jimmy! (secret) you get an achievement for voting on 100 items.
BTW accolades are achievements now. Sorry for wasting everyone's time. You can see the entire achievement list here.
The entire points system will be reworked AFTER the COD giveaway. All good things to come and all of your points earned so far will not be affected.
We've been working on this for a long time and I'm glad to say we have finally launched our scoring system. Now a few things might change here and there, but for the most part here's what is happening.
You get points for interacting with Gouki.com; like writing a story, commenting on a story and voting. You also get points for somebody else voting on your story and getting more that 100 views on your story in one day.
Accolades are bonus points, which you get for serious participation on Gouki.com. For example when you register you get the "What up Jimmy?!" Accolade. What about the "Votin' Ass!" Accolade, vote on 10 or more stories. Ok ok how about this one, the "Video Game Journalist" Accolade for writing a story that gets over 5000 views. Why the fuck don't I have this one already? Nubfarm? There's also a few surprises, you'll have to find them on your own.
So start getting your score up Jimmy! Because I'm killing you right now on the leaderboards. Hell I just got a ton of points for writing this story. Don't be a Jimmy!
