God of War Ascension announcement trailer

A short video announcing the existence of another God of War game... this time a prequel to the trilogy coming to the PS3.

Here's what Sony has to say about this game:

God of War® fans rejoice! Infamous Spartan warrior Kratos is preparing to return to the PlayStation®3 system. This brand new trailer marks the official unveiling to the world of forthcoming game, God of War: Ascension™.

The most ambitious God of War adventure in the series so far, God of War: Ascension takes us right back to where it all began. Discover the origins of Kratos as he takes his first steps on a now legendary quest for freedom and vengeance.

I think we haven't been shown anything yet, and I don't understand what they are doing with these announce trailers that show nothing (not even a release window) in the middle of April. Save it for E3, Jimmy!

Not really hyped for this. I'ld give it a rent for the hell of it, but that's about all.

I haven't gotten a chance to try any of the games in the god of war series. If i ever do, I might just start off with this one, seeing as how this is the prequel to it all.
