Vote Now 2022 "The Game Awards" Nominees

By: goukijones Nov 14, 2022 | 0 Comments

What are your favorite games of the year?

Mark your Calendar! The Game Awards AKA The Geoff Keighley show returns to free on stream December 8, 2022. We love the Geoff Keighley here on Gouki.com. He’s Number 1 in the World! with us in our hearts. Playstation original games looking real good on the top of this list. I just started playing God of War Ragnarok and I love it so far. Just the type of adventure I’m always looking for. But. Horizon Forbidden West was AMAZING. The open world of that and the hunting of the dinosaurs were just too good. I’m not sure the linear feel of God of War will give it an edge with me for GOTY. God of War has incredible technical combat and that is truly the most pleasing aspect of the game. Have your say. Vote now with the link below.

VGX, the next generation of Video Game Awards, is an all-day gaming experience, and a true binging dream for gamers.

It looks like there's a whole new direction for the former VGAs this year. Introducing VGX

While its roots lie in the Video Game Awards, VGX will abandon the traditional Hollywood style award show to feature more world premiere game trailers than ever before, plus extended deep dives into the next generation of games, new looks at gaming culture, one-on-one interviews with the industry’s most visionary creatives and expert panels digging into what’s coming to consoles in 2014 and beyond. The new format features more games, less fame, in an intimate studio setting.

So that's different. I've always hated listening to acceptance speeches and awkward celebrity tie-ins and shitty bands during these shows. Just show me the new trailers and tell me who won the awards so I can get on with my life.

VGX LOGO

Anyway this new format show will air this Saturday, December 7 at 6PM ET / 3PM PT on the internet. That's right, no TV. I guess that's better if there are no commercials other than the game trailers... but will 6 cops re-runs out draw this for real? Here's how to tune in:

VGX will be streamed across Xbox One, Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3 (PS3™), Twitch, iOS and Android devices, and available globally on VGXLIVE.com, Hulu, Yahoo Screen, the Yahoo Screen app and Viacom properties Spike.com, ComedyCentral.com MTV.com, MTV2.com, BET.com and GameTrailers.com. VGX will be live streamed for three-hours on Saturday, December 7, beginning at 6:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM PT.
