Naughty Bear is fun for a half hour, but not much more... |
It's a good thing we got the game for $35 (deals Jimmy!) because it certainly isn't worth a full price purchase.
The game has 7 "levels" but they are really all just re-skins of the same level. Plus each level has several sub-level challenges (like do it with out being seen or without getting hit or without hitting anyone). What's worse, once you beat a level, you don't necessarily unlock the next unless you get a certain amount of trophies from the previous levels. This means you will play every level several times. You will not believe how repetitive this is.
There are many ways to kill or scare the other bears, but it is fairly easy to see them all in your first hour or so of playing. It's still fun to smash a bear's head in a car door, when you're not busy fighting the somewhat glitchy camera.
This game would have made a great XBLA/PSN title for 10-15 bucks. As a full game though, it falls a bit short. Flush it.
