Community Could this be good news for Guilty Gear fans?

It has been a while since we've seen a new Guilty Gear, but the name seems to be coming up more often.

This was were I got hooked on the Guilty Gear series and also one of the first of many Atlus games I would play for years.  I still have an original copy of the game close by.

But it has been a while since we've had a new game.  And that Accent Core crap doesn't count.

Recently though there was a comment by Daisuke Ishiwatari saying that Guilty Gear fans will see another game eventually.  Not much to go from, but it was better than nothing.  We also find out Dizzy will be making an appearance in Queens Gate http://gouki.com/Story/Details/queens-gate-spiral-chaos-will-feature-noel-vermillion-of-blazb .  And today we get this http://www.siliconera.com/2011/05/24/arc-system-works-now-owns-the-rights-to-guilty-gear/ .

The short version is that when Sega and Sammy joined Sammy still had the rights to the IP.  While Sega Sammy Holdings had Guilty Gear Arc System Works put out BlazBlue.  A game I was fortunate enough to get from here http://gouki.com/Story/Details/thanks-for-blazblue-calamity-trigger-limited-edition .  But it just isn't the same.  And recently Arc System Works has filed a trademark for Guilty Gear in Japan and it was published today in the database.

We still don't have anything official to go on, but this enough to give hope.
