This is almost nothing at all. A lot of people bought the GOTY Borderlands because it came with "Early" access to the Duke Demo. This was when the game was scheduled for a May 3rd release. So the game get's pushed back and people are wondering when is the demo. Others just pre-ordered it for the Demo, in which case most of these people either A: where going to get Duke anyway and saw this as a bonus or B: Wanted to try this game out before anyone else and decide whether they wanted to keep there orders. Now if Gearbox had said that the "Early Access" Duke Demo was only a week before release, how many people would have said FUCK IT, and just waited for the game to come out? The answer is almost everyone. Why? Because by the time the demo comes out, your just ready for the full game, and almost don't even want to waste your time downloading a demo that close to release. I know I don't care too anymore. This also means that gamers who don't have "Early Access" will either A: Not even get a demo until after the game has released or B: Not get a demo at all.

All I'm saying is that this demo should be here now for the early access users and a week before it drops for everyone else. Gearbox just told us to go fuck ourselves. Lets' delay the game, and then offer a demo a week before it drops.

Whoever pissed in Cinder's cereal needs to quit.

Getting the Borderlands GOTY was worth doing just to have a great game. The demo should have been out before the original release date so that does look very shady. But getting to play the demo before the game drops lets us see if we want to pick the game up or not. And if the demo comes out around the same time as the game that isn't out of the ordinary. If you are picking it up day 1 you might as well have pre-ordered it, if not you can see if the demo is any good before getting the game. And you can't gripe about not getting a demo to much, because a ton of games never get a demo.

Disappointed yes, ripped off not really.

My gripe is this early access shit is a waste of time. Rewarding people who already are buying the game, with a week of demo play is garbage. The people who are on the fence should be trying the demo that close to release. We should have gotten the game way earlier. Borderlands was a shitty game by the way, so companies shouldn't offer shit for other games for buying a different game. Too many companies do this.

I don't eat cereal, I've just been gaming for over 20 years and all the bullshit is catching up. I'm tired of this. I've been playing Duke since I can remember, but the real fans got slapped in the face with turd crusted titties and I still get the game 4 days after international. FUCK!

They obviously had a playable demo (the one shown at PAX and GDC), I really don't know why they didn't give that demo to the Early Access Jimmys weeks ago.

Look we all know that marketing for games has gotten way out of control. Duke is a perfect example.

Borderlands GOTY edition is worth it for the game.

I agree early access should be AT LEAST 3 weeks, but when will we learn. We have to stop buying into this shit.
