This story depicts the different gamers we've all seen in life. From the casual to the unstoppable. Take a look at a surprising category of gamers.

In all of our careers of gaming, if there ever was a constant besides the actual  gameplay, it's the different personalities that are born of gaming. We all start off at the beginning, some becoming more in tuned to a game than others. And from that tunement are born the arch types of gamers. Let's take a look.

Casual: This type of gamer likes to play video games as a way of having fun. Ranging from beginners to those looking to play video games with groups of friends. Among these players are usually humble players as they possess an average array of skill with no real competitive edge. However, they are among some of the most fun players to play, usually screaming and yelling as the moment tenses up and the games become close. Victory is an absolute must with these players, but if it does not come, it's fine.

Fighter: These types of gamers are intermediate in skill. They play to win but still lack just the right amount of skill to really defeat the more experienced players. Normally having a set attack pattern with a few traps in their gameplay, Fighters may occasionally have the tendancy to give up towards the end if the tide of battle is too much in their opponent's favor. Perhaps above all, this type of gamer succumbs to anger more easily and can tend to blame the controller for a mistake or if they continue to lose. However, more often than most, this type of player has the occasional all inspiring comeback that will fuel his desire to become a greater gamer. Aside from competitive players, Figthers make up most of the gamers of the world.

The Pseudo: The word pseudo by definition means something that is false or pretending to be. And it is no different when it comes to the Pseudo type of gamer. These type of players talk a bigger game and trash talk more than any other type of gamer. This type of gamer will speak of grand marvels of achievements and usually are obssessed with calling attention to themselves, but one can easily see through his mask if one knows the person. Traits include and underhanded opportunistic type of gamestyle. In a free for all battle, this player will hide and wait for all the other players to fight it out, waiting for the last player standing and using the life advantage (depending on the game) to clench his victory and thus claiming he defeated his group of friends. While this method isn't completely shameful as many players use it, this type of gamer will use it the most. However, nearly 90% of the time this type of player and all his false glory is eradicated by the more refined and advanced players.

The Tyrant: We've all seen at least 1 or more Tyrants in our time. The generally skilled gamer that wields the most annoying cocky behavioral patterns to date. Able to defeat all of the players within his group and always makes sure they remember it. This player will talk a mean game, will target Casuals as well as Fighters. The Tyrant is only respected because of his skill and while more of these players have learned to tone it down over the years, their tyrannical reign only so often is quiets down as these players tend to host tournaments as their main motis operandi to ensure their abilities are well known and well showed off. However, every now and then a player of greater skill comes along and brings down this villanous player, giving hope to the rest of the group and freeing them of the Tyrants annoyance. This gamer is known as the Mysterious Avenger.

The Mysterious Avenger: These players tend to wander from place, seeking a worthy adversary. Personality traits are more noticable, quiet and humble. Sure and confident of their abilitites, these players are skilled in the more techinical aspects of the game as well as have the ability to truly predict human opponent movesets. Their mind games are very advance and tend to fall nicely into their gameplay. Their main targets by occasional consequence are Tyrants. As such, this type of player is usually revered as a type of "saviour" due to his feat of relieving the mass of friends of the cocky attitude the Tyrants wield. Mysterious Avengers range from competitive players to masters.

The Tournament Veteran: Players of this calibur have seen their share of all different types of play styles. Their experience gives them high placement and accurate shots for shooters and a great respect for blocking in fighting games. These gamers regularly attend tournaments whether local or grand. They are very social and trash talking is quite common but more in the sense of humor and good fun. Their skills in gaming make them highly dangerous against most players worldwide. They wield many set ups, mind games, attack patterns, and are always seeking to fight aggressively as well as defend appropriately. The one thing however they have in common with some gamer types such as Figthers is that they may occasionally succumb to anger and rage due to a dropped combo or move, or if the game was just too close only to lose. Nonetheless, Tournament Veterans are highly respected. Anyone seeking to become a great gamer should attend tournaments as often as possilbe as well as train at home.

The Grand Master: The skill of the player in this category will tend to vary, but as such, they are very rare individuals with exceptional skill. Among many groups, there is the Grand Master, the player who's skill far suprasses his entire community. The Grand Master under most circumstances will tend to help his fellow gamers of lower skill as well as share supreme techniques with his friends. The Grand Master is the teacher, the leader, and as such is very humble and  will tend to have a greater personality than most. He is usually respectful and is so confident in his ability, he doesn't worry or think about making mistakes, he simply does what he has to do to get the job done. Grand Masters are usually seen at tournaments and most often than most rise as the victors. Their triumphs usually grant them invitiations to larger tournaments and as such tend to have a lot of money due to cash prizes.

In conclusion, there are perhaps many more types of gamers being born everyday, but it is incredible to know how one such type of entertainment, video games, have given fruit to many types of various gamers, playstyles and personalities. It's downright almost a manga in this world.
