How does 343 fail miserably when designing the matchmaking system for Halo: MCC crafted specifically for next-gen hardware when Bungie created a legitimate source for matching players' games 10+ years ago on limited legacy consoles? Such a disappointment!
Initially, I was excited to get my hands on Halo: MCC, but after experiencing the agonizing torture of trying to get into a game, I was overwhelmingly frustrated. I shouldn't have to wait 20+ minutes to play on a map for 5. Even when in an even number party, it was difficult to join any game. I fell in love with the idea of playing all the old content such as Halo: CE/2 etc., but if this is what I have to go through, Ill pass. Campaign and the pre-designed playlist mix are ok i guess, if thats what your into. However, the real meat of this game, everyone knows, is the multiplayer and 343 let a lot of players down in this aspect. As far as I can tell, the recent update didnt really do much. Players are still having difficulty joining games when in a party and matchmaking is inconsistent at best. I only hope they turn it around because I am a real fan of the franchise, I enjoy playing when im playing, and shootin' nuabs in the face. Comment if you feel my pain!
