Community I Am Alive, What's the status here?

Had no idea this game was in the making until recently, and damn it sounds great, I would really love to enjoy more info and screens and gameplay.

The game has been in development since 2008 and constantly pushed back with more and more BS. The schedualed release date is sometime this year (TBA) on ps3,wii and the 360. Earthquake fucks some shit up in Chicago and you play as this dude who is trying to survive, and find his chick. you have to evade hostile people who are stealing shit, somehow keep hydrated and not get killed by the crumbling city. The game is first person, you control a guy named Adam, your searching the city ofcourse to stay alive and find food and weapons, but you can also threaten people with a empty gun to get our way. You can also drive abandoned cars in third person view. Their isnt much video and images on the game, but from what little we have, I already love the idea. What is important is that they dont fuck up mechanics, or end up having a boring ass game. Also a game like this might actually be a lot more fun on wii because of motion control, but if theirs some sort of online play I will be getting it for ps3 instead. Nah dude, it is still on the "coming soon" list on Ubisoft website http://www.ubi.com/ except "soon" is still "TBA 2011" T_T

Props for writing the first story on I Am Alive. I didn't know shit about this game until last night when I first read this story.

The game looks pretty sweet and the open world idea thing sounds cool. But as of right now, I don't think this game is coming out anytime in 2011. E3 will tell for sure.

I made a catalog page with some more info and a funny video from Ubisoft Shanghai, well it's not supposed to be funny. It will depend on how many drugs or just how drunk you are.
