Persona 4 Arena Delayed in European Territories Until "Further Notice"

Looks like we got some bad news for our European Jimmies. Persona 4 Arena has officially been dated for "unknown" in Europe.

The Arc Systems fighter was set to release in Europe at the end of the month, but unfortunately it won't be coming soon. Recently released on August 2nd and 7th for the Japanese and North American territories Persona 4 Arena is getting a lot of praise.

"There are currently a number of issues surrounding development and subsequent release of Persona 4 Arena in Europe. As we are not directly involved in the development process for P4A, these are elements which are beyond our control." said European publisher Zen.

"We do understand your frustration and a need for a concrete release date, however, until we can ascertain exactly what that release period will be we are hesitant to do so." stated Zen "We would rather have all the facts about release to hand, and all issues be resolved, before making such an announcement."

"Please be assured that as soon as WE know what the release date will be, YOU will be the first to know."

WTF do they have to do to the game to make a euro release? It can't be that hard to add some languages in there.

Sucks for those Jimmys that want to play over there. This is a perfect example of why region codes are bullshit. This game would have sold more copies if it were released at the same time world wide. Not to mention what it would do the fan base. Just put it out already.

I think they just didn't want people importing this one from the land of the rising sun two weeks early. Looks like their plan backfired.

The game looks better than it plays in my opinion. And the Euro market has a lot of hoops to jump through. If you look at the stuff from Japan to here it's crazy, but you switch it to them it's doubled if not tripled.
