Microsoft cases and discs can have great quality, but sometimes for mass produced games they get pretty cheap and the holder for the disc ends up cracking the cheaply made disc itself. Here's a way to avoid that.
Microsoft is a bit sneaky when it comes to mass produced games. In my opinion they create cheap cases and disc to save money and when the disc gets cracked from putting it back on the holder, it forces you to eventually buy another of the same game. Here's an example of the holder to look out for to avoid cracking your discs.
It's a bit difficult to push in and hard around the edges. Possible results may cause damage to your disc. Observe.
The disc holder that does well however and doesn't crack your disc looks like this.
In conclusion, anytime I have a new game that has the damaging kind of holder, I place the disc in between the instruction booklet pages. It keeps it safe and I don't have to worry about carefully removing it from the holder as well as it will remain in it's original box. Behold.
In conclusion, I hope none of you have to experience a cracked disc or at least ever again. I sincerely hope this helps :]
