They keep making these Resident Evil Movies, WTF is going on?

Okay... What the Fucking Fuck!? Why are they ruining all my childhood memories in hollywood? First off what does this have to do with Resident Evil?

For that matter what does latest set of games have to do with Resident Evil? I think the franchise is fucked out now. The only way to get it back under control is to look at the first 3 games and start working from there.

As for the movies, well I think they should just change the name of the movie to Bio Monster World and just rename all the characters to some retarded action hero names.

I mean even the first film was so far off from the game's storyline that I couldn't get into it at all. Now we are at a point where the movies are actively ridiculous and make no sense.

First off the setting is supposed to be modern times right? where the fuck did they get all this future super tech? In the games the Umbrella Corp started in the 40's or 50's and was founded by some people much older in the research game. The games took place in modern times in the early 90's and the tech was all pretty much normal aside from the bio-tech. Basically the films just don't fit into our reality as much as the original games did.

Of course these are just my opinions and some of you might be too young to remember the first 3 games so maybe you'll like this version. I just want to go back to the old days of really scary films and games. Not all this run and gun shit.
