Community Video game franchises that i want to return

Franchises i feel should make a big return.
Im a relatively old school gamer but i love current games also. New IP's are great but it tends to leave the franchises that paved the way in the dust. I for one would love for a massive surge of old school games/franchises to make a modern day return. In some cases this has worked (street fighter,punchout) and in some cases it has been bad for the franchise (bomberman). Here are a few that i really want to make a comeback.
Megaman X Series
This series was known for its amazing gameplay and above average difficulty. There have been more megaman games made passed the x series like the ones on DS or megaman 9 and 10 but what most fans want is a return to glory with a new megaman x. Capcom released a collection with megaman x 1 through 6 on ps2 and gamecube. You can also get 7 and 8 on ps2 but what fans really want is X9. Megaman is one of capcoms flagship franchises so i don't know why we haven't seen a new addition to the X series but im hoping capcom can pull it out.
Darkstalkers
Darkstalkers is one of my top 5 fighting game franchises i LOVE it. It was basically like street fighter meets wacky monsters. Capcom still puts a few characters from the series in crossover games meaning that they have not forgotten about it. So that begs the question why haven't they made another? They have been VERY successful with the revival of street fighter i feel they need to strike while the iron is hot and bring this classic series to a whole new generation.
Rival Schools
Another one of my favorite fighting game franchises that has mostly been forgotten. It was released on the playstation with the sequel being released on the dreamcast. It was a 2D fighter with 3D graphics and it was very unique. The theme of the game was different high school students as the fighters and it even feature street fighters own high school girl sakura. It had tag team game play and memorable characters which is why capcom still uses them from time to time in cross over games so come on capcom give us a new one.
Parappa the rapper
Ahhhh what can i say about this franchise its AWESOME. Parappa the rapper was a trend setter in the world of music games. One was released on PS1 and the second one was released on PS2 It featured amazing tracks and memorable characters. One would think when the world was out of its mind for music games (guitar hero, rock band) that sony would jump on it and release another parappa game. I for one am still holding on to hope for another.
Im sure that there are many more franchises out there that are long forgotten by all except the hardcore fan. What forgotten franchises do you want to see reborn let us know and don't be a jimmy.
