Community WTF is Grifball?

A new mode for Halo 4 to start.

I was oblivious to the fact that this even existed. But from what I understand it was some weird ass fan made mode. But it is going to be included this time from day one. They describe it as being similar to rock paper scissors, but I don't see a connection. Watching the guys beat the hell out of each other and throwing off the presenter was kind of funny but I'm still kind of confused about the game. So if one of you jimmys can fill me in that'ld be great. Looks like a mode built for a Golden Review in my opinion.

Grifball has been around since Halo 3. So all this tells me is that Halo 4 isn't adding anything.

It started in RvB, was a funny side series, Bungie added it soon after to H3.

I can see this being a lot of fun with the ability to pass the ball around.. I'm all over it !
