Community Dead Rising 2 get DLC outfits soon

Chuck Greene gets some new threads with benefits in the coming weeks.

So any casual fan of the Dead Rising series should know that one of the more enjoyable aspects of the game is to dress up your character, whether it be dressing protagonist Chuck Greene in a pair of daisy dukes or strip him down to nothing but his heart-filled boxers.

Starting October 12th, you can download new outfits for Chuck Greene to destroy the undead in Dead Rising 2 for both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. These outfits will give Chuck added benefits.

For example downloading the "Psycopath" outfit (released Oct. 12th) will give Chuck extra health and will make him more proficient with "horror movie weapons" such as chainsaws, knives, machetes, and axes.

On the other hand, downloading the 'Action Hero" outfit (released Oct. 19th) will give Chuck double ammo, increased accuracy, power, and proficiency with all firearms.

Moving on to my personal favorite the "Sports Fan" outfit (released Oct. 26th) will allow you to drink as much as you want without getting railed ALA GoukiJones while increasing your luck while hitting the slots, increasing the amount of health you gain from eating and drinking, and giving Chuck the ability to tackle zombies in a manner that would make Ray Lewis jealous.

And last but not least, the "Ninja" outfit (released Nov. 2nd) will give Chuck the ability to be nearly undectable to the undead while increasing his proficiency with swords and thrown objects (i.e plates, gems, etc.)

Look for these outfits to drop on the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace weekly starting Oct. 12 for the somewhat low prices of $1.99 or 160MSP respectively.

Anyone else think that these costumes should be just 5 bucks for all the costumes instead of 8 bucks?

I think they should be free. Ubisoft released weekly DLC for free when it came to Splinter Cell Conviction. On the other hand, a 400MSP package would be more reasonable than to piss away 640MSP
