The game features new equipment for the series such as a scoped crossbow with different kinds of ammunition (e.g., explosive) and Dragon's Breath rounds for shotguns. It also has an early model of the Steyr AUG which is customizable. The player will be piloting aircraft: an SR-71 Blackbird guiding a squad on the ground and an attack helicopter. The dismemberment feature, showcased only in Call of Duty: World at War, can be seen in the teaser trailer. It will also be the first game in the series to feature the player characters speak in-game.

Most played games on Xbox live in 2011

By: BatRastered Jan 7, 2012 | 2 Comments

A list of the most played games last year on Xbox live.

Major Nelson posted this list on his blog yesterday. It's not too surprising that Black Ops beat MW3 and BF3 since those came out in November and Black Ops had all year. What is surprising is the continued strength of MW2. Seriously? Who's still playing that? I highly recommend you Jimmy-asses to pick up Battlefield 3.

  1. Call of Duty: Black Ops
  2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

I was ready to pass on the next DLC until I saw the Zombie level..

Let's get right to what you want to see.

I could have done with out the extra DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops, then I saw what they had planned for the zombie mode.  To be able to play as Robert Englund had me sold, but then you add Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Danny Trejo.   It'll be out for Xbox 360 May 3, and PS3 will see it about a month later, and again it'll be $15.  So now if you have both DLC packs you're looking at around $100 put into this game. Hopefully we'll have PSN back by then.

I know most of you are done with Call of Duty, but does this make you want to play it any?  Let's Hear what you think.

So far these look like better new levels than what we got for first strike.  But 360 users are playing it now and for us waiting for the PS3 release and for PSN even.

But I think the rest of you are waiting for the good stuff.

Call of the Dead

Robert Englund had me sold.

Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC

So the wait is over, the PS3 now has the new pack

The Xbox 360 had it first but now we do too.  For 14.99 you get 4 new multi-player maps and a zombie map.  Some jimmy's are super hyped about this and I'm enjoying some new levels, but I think the price was high for no more than we got.

The new Zombie Board for Ascension is fun, but anytime you can put a bullet in a Zombies dome is fun.

Stadium is just what it sounds like, and it gets a bit crazy with losts of spots for the campers to hide.

Kowloon is a fairly small map (the one you try to help the doctor escape on in main story) it is pretty decent.  Oh yeah and a Zipline.

Discovery is a pretty big level with options for all play styles and I think this is the one with the bridge you can blow up but I haven't seen it yet.

Berlin Wall has turrets that are waiting for you and they are vicous, they even have the no mans land marked in red on you map.  This may be my favorite map in the pack.

The new maps aren't game changers so if you didn't like it before you won't like it now.  You can find me on PSN at dragonkiss83 if you want, but I'm not great.

My biggest problem right now is that after playing Borderlands I keep throwing grenades when it try to scope in or shoot.

Overall I'ld say I could live without the maps so I'ld say flush it until it goes on sale unless you are a hardcore Black Ops Jimmy.
