You could find a million and one things to do that are more enjoyable than this game!
Battlestorm:field of honor is a team based old school style shooter in the beta phase for pc. At first i looked forward to playing this game. The storyline seemed engaging, the artwork vibrant, the premise sound, but the game play was horrible starting with the game setup options. Since the implemetation of windows live, I've gotten used to having the option of using my xbox360 controller, and if ever a game could have benefited from it's use it is this one. T he keyboard configuration just seems weird and unresposive when playing Battlestorm.
My next complaint is the fact that this game is online only and because it sucks it took me days to even find others to play with, eventhough thousands have downloaded the beta! That is never a good sign about the quality of a game. If you plan on trying out Battlestorm you may want to invest in plenty of vodka and maybe order up some sexy escorts to pass the time while you wait in the lobby for others to join you ! Once you do get the required 8 players....no ther game won't let you start with less...hopefully that's a feature they'll be smart enough to change......you will need plenty of coffee to stay awake through the rather unispiring gameplay.
Hopefully this game will never see the light of day.........maybe they can send copies to all known terrorist and they will play it and committ suicide within a half hour of playing it. i wish i could get back the time i wasted playing this game. I would write more....but because i played this game i must now take psych meds to keep me from harming myself or others. Please.......don't try this game unless they release it and sell it for under $5.00...anything more than that is absurd.

First and foremost I'd like to congratulate Infinite Bits for putting together an enjoyable convention experience on the first try. The 2009 Miami Video Game Convention
First and foremost I'd like to congratulate Infinite Bits for putting together an enjoyable convention experience on the first try. If you were one of the hundreds of gamers who took the time to go to the Doubletree Miami Airport Mart Convention Center for the event which ran from Friday Oct 23 thru Sunday Oct 25 you probably were like me and pleasantly surprised. Hopefully you didn't arrive expecting Infinite Bits to hand you an experience akin to that of the legendary E3. If you did ,then you were probably pissed. The 99% of Miami area gamers who arrived with an open mind and itchy joystick thumbs however, were pleased.
The convention had a nice structure and balance to it. There was something there for all gamers; old school classics for home and arcade, handhelds, table top games( think dungeon and dragons), as well as the latest home console titans. The mix of vendors were a little thin, but considering this was the very first convention sponsored by Infinite Bits all was easily understandable. Very hard to get adequate vendors when no one really has an idea of how successful the convention would be.I especially liked the arts and crafts that some artists presented....they were outstanding! Some of the video game vendors had unreasonable prices though...even for companies that are local and very small.
The convention was chock full of gamers dressed as their favorite game and anime characters. Gave the whole convention a lively vive. It took me and Jimmy about an hour just to walk around and guess what characters some of these folks were trying to be! That was fun! The tournaments rocked! There were tournaments for Gears of War , Halo 1, Halo 3, Street Fighter IV, and Madden 2010 as well as a host of other games. My only hope is next year they do a better job with scheduling the tournaments. Too many were going on at the same time, not enough equipment to have the process go quickly,(the brackets for street fighter were crazy long!), and definetly not enough space for fans(and the press like Gouki.com) to watch.
All in all I enjoyed myself...and if you didn't bother to go you lost out! Hopefully Infinite Bits can learn from the few mistakes they made this year and do it again next year bigger and better! I'll be there for sure! Check out my Iphone videos Jimmys!!!!! Remember these videos are from my iphone on the go live at the convention Jimmy so don't expect HD..but expect me to keep it real! Enjoy!!!Read full story...
New larger Nintendo DS coming to U.S. in 2010
Nintendo DS goes supersize: Introducing the DS XL
Apparently, smaller is out and big is in. According to several video game insiders Nintendo is due to release next month in Japan a new DS that has 4.25 inch screens (much larger than the 3' inch screen of the current model) that has an 80% larger screen area. It overall will be longer and thicker. Even the stylus will be jumbo sized!
I'm not sure about the logic behind this,(I thought everyone always wants smaller!) I mean isn't the PSP doing poorly because of size? From what I hear it is going to be marketed to older and younger gamers who have trouble viewing the current 3 inch screen.
The price point is expected to be higher than the DSI current price point of $169.99 here in the U.S. It should launch in North America sometime in first quarter 2010.

Assassin's creed 2 coming out Nov 17 looks good!
Assassin's Creed 2: Looking good!
On November 17, 2009 Assassin's Creed 2 will be hitting store shelves. According to several news outlets we should be in for a treat. We're talking a whole slew of goodies including custom armor, hundreds of new weapons, whore houses, an entire renaissance period village created in painstaking detail. Did I mention the whore houses?
Yeah, Yeah I know I had your attention at "whore house", but the game is supposed to be greatly improved. Less frame rate drops in all versions (I'll believe it when I see it concerning the pc version), and a new cool looking 3d effect.
The new weapons are supposed to be kick ass....there is a sledgehammer folks. Just imagine slamming a Jimmy in the head with a friggin sledge hammer and watching the brains seep out ! I think I just wet myself! To get all the new weapons you'll have to buy them... that means your character has a very good reason to pick pockets and rob people in this game! And there is supposed to be money hidden everywhere in this game.
Check back here at Gouki.com and we'll have a vlog about the game soon as we get our dirty lil hands on one. I can't freakin wait Jimmy!
