The Liverpool based developer Bizarre Creations gets shut down. Activision is pulling the plug.
Activision was originally trying to sell the company Bizarre Creations back in November, but now it seems that they weren't able to sell. Activision has decided to shut down Bizarre (developers of PGR, Blood Stone, and Blur).
Develop reports that sources inside Bizarre seem positive regarding the way in which Activision is conducting the closure, although it's also said that the publisher "meddled" in certain projects and failed to support games with the level of marketing they required. Blur and James Bond: Blood Stone's recent poor performance at retail reflect this.
Bizarre Creations was famous for PGR, Blur, and Metropolis Speed Racer (Dreamcast). Even the not so good games like 007 Blood Stone and The Club. With over 200 employees Bizarre Creations will be missed by plenty.

New hilarious tv spot for Blur the game. I love Mario Kart and I think this commercial is great.
Just watch it yo ...
Leave a comment Jimmy.
A little FFXIII, some BFBC2, definitely mix in that Blur Beta. Does anyone want to play the Bioshock 2 multiplayer with me?
Today I'm gonna be pwnn all day long. Does anyone want to play the Bioshock 2 multiplayer or what? If I'm playing FFXIII leave me alone. What about some more Borderlands? You can never run through the armory enough. Here's the list.Read full story...
I think Blur has got to be one of the best multiplayer game out. Plus check out this quick cheat.
Hey what's up gamers it's The Bear, and before you go off on a 3 day caffeine and or drug induced binge playing the 5 new Modern Warfare map pack Resurgence, which you can download for XBox 360 June 3, 2010. Let's talk a bit about Blur.
This game is nothing but pure fun. You know like the kind of fun you have when your in another country and you can do what ever you want because nobody knows you fun, that kind of fun. Well maybe not that fun, but if you played the beta then you already know now fun this game can be. The multiplayer is nothing but a trash talkers dream. One minute your in first place and then some 14 year old kid who didn't go to school because it's 11:45 on a Monday afternoon. Shoots you and you end up in like 9th place out of nowhere. Your screaming at the top of your lungs at the little prick and all your neighbors hear is you yelling "screw you, you little jackass" and they think that I am yelling at my kids. I'm yelling how I'm going to blast him right in the ass with my shunt cannon (a weapon in the game) and all I have to say is that it was a long ride in the elevator that day. My kids weren't even home they were in school, where that little douch bag should have been.
Oh yea almost forgot those cheats.

I haven't done them so I can't tell you if they work. Give em a try and get back to me.
They added some great new tracks and citys. L.A. to Spain to Tokyo. You get to drive drunk down some of the coolest road in the world. I think that's why they called it blur, because every time I play it I'm smashed. The controllers a blur the t.v. is a blur, everything. I love this game man. I think I have met more cool people playing Blur than i have on any other game, ever. There's something about light hearted f bombs that brings people together. Don't get me wrong you still have to do the career to upgrade your cars and mods, but in the long run it's worth it.
So if you don't have it and you have two boxes in your hands Blur and Split Second. Take that Split Second and wipe your but with it and fling it at that 12 year old you won't get off the XBox 360 display controller and let somebody else play and buy Blur. You won't regret it, and if you do well "Im sorry, my bad".

Where are the ModNation Racer deals Jimmy? Maybe this game isn't a big deal at all, because none of the stores are promoting it. I don't get it, but here's what I found on MNR and other games out this week.
Newegg has the lowest price I've seen that I trust. I don't understand why there is no publicity for this game. Yeah depending on where you pre-ordered the game you got a special DLC, but flush that.
Includes free shipping if you are not in a hurry to get it. ModNation Racers on sale for $56.99 or less.
Amazon has some third party deals as low as $54.00. Click here.Read full story...

The most serious and real first impressions ever. I only had a very little time with these games yesterday. Here's what I thought ...
I played all of 10 minutes of Battlefield Bad Company 2 yesterday. I started it up mid afternoon. I couldn't see shit! The entire first level or at least as far as I got was completely pitch black. Even with the blinds closed and the brightness bumped up, I couldn't tell which way to go or who to shoot at. I died really fast.
Something that stands out about BFBC2 that I did notice in the little time I had was the sound. I've always enjoyed the sound effects in this series. I want to give the multiplayer a shot, if I can drag myself away from the Borderlands. If you love shooters or RPG's or just opening treasure chests, I can not believe you haven't played Borderlands yet. Jimah!
Blur. WTF is Blur. Well it's a new racing game from these Jimmys who call themselves, Bizarre Creations. Blur is a racing game with a dramatic slice of Mario Kart. Any racing game that adds explosions and mines and other tools to destroy the Jimmys you're racing against is cool with me. I played this for like 2 hours last night and I'm pretty sure if you follow me on Twitter you saw me reporting my stats. The in game Twitter updates are cool! You still might have a chance to get in the Beta, here's one way click here.
I played Final Fantasy XIII for 2 and half hours last night. Mostly just tutorials on how to fight. I got a little taste of how the combats gonna be later on in the game and I'm really looking forward to that. The graphics are amazing, I bet it does look better on the PS3, I just don't care that much to turn on my PS3 unless I'm going to watch some blu-ray porn or The Tester. So I'm gonna hop back on FFXIII right now and see where it takes me. All you Jimmys telling me how good it is better not be just pulling some elaborate prank.
