Dragon Age 2.5 or 3, whatever you want to call it. I first saw KoA:R at E3 2011 & immediately fell in love. Very similar to DA, except you are a solo act. Check out both videos & get my immediate reaction to the game as I play the demo for the first time.

Like I said, this was shown to me last June at E3. Something I wasn't really expecting to see. The looting, the armor and weapons displayed during the developer tech demo were quite impressive. The fluidness of the combat is what stole the show. Very similar to Dragon Age, minus the party system and a lot more user interactive. There's even a "Move to Junk" option for your gear. There's talking and character development similar to Mass Effect & Dragon Age as well.

The colors of the game I can do with out. It looks a lot like World of Warcraft. As far as gameplay and combat, you can use a melee, a bow and arrow and magic all without having to go to a menu or pull up a wheel. Some of the magics were like Mortal Kombat's Scorpion's "Get over here" hook. Then you got your typical lightning spell and fire rod you can use. Each magic or combat style has its own tree to level up.

I played the demo for about an hour and half. All the time it would let me. I could have easily gone on playing the rest of the day. It's about that time of year I'm hard up for an adventure and after all the Battlefield 3 lately, I think it's time for some sword and shield action. Skyrim what? Check out the videos below and get my immediate reaction to the game as I play the demo for the first time.

Verdict: Buy It

Demo was not bad at all. The combat looked pretty flashy and interesting. The game did seem a bit easy though ^^
Hoping for the best ^^

It reminded me a bit of a cross between Fable (for the look, combat, and magic) and Fallout 3 (for the looting and fast travel). I like that when you smack a friendly town person, the game will give you the option of whether you meant to do that or not (so the town doesn't immediately try to kill you).

Doesn't look special enough for me to want it. But we'll see.
