how-to
You only get one shot at this—there are no do-overs and no backsies. (Well… there is if you have a third party member, and even another try with a fourth.)
How to Sync a Party War Plan
- The first player goes to the War Plans table and holds [Y on Xbox] (or the equivalent button on your platform) to SYNC PARTY.
- This triggers a popup for all party members to accept and join the synced War Plan.
- Once synced, every party member can approach the War Plans table to view the selected War Plan.
Important Rules:
- Do NOT reroll the War Plan yourself while synced — it will break the party sync.
- If the plan isn’t ideal, have the second player roll their own War Plan instead.
- Everyone will get a new popup to rejoin the synced party.
- You can repeat this process based on how many people are in your group.
- If anyone in the party rerolls individually, it changes the plan for them and breaks their sync with the group.

Pro Tips
- Take what you can get based on speed or what you’re currently farming.
- Finish one War Plan and immediately start the next — chaining multiple per hour is the goal!

My Personal Take
I don’t understand why there’s a limit in the first place. Diablo IV is largely a single-player experience at heart, so I’ve always felt players should be able to get the content they want and enjoy themselves.
Having to settle for the first or second War Plan with limited reroll options feels odd. Who does it really hurt? Ranked leaderboards already kill the fun for casual players like me. I’m not racing to 300 Paragon every season — I just want to build the most badass Sorcerer possible and push as far as I can. I’d happily run 5 Pits or Kurast Undercities in a row for speed if allowed. That beats doing 3 Hordes any day.
