Playing on an XBOX Series X with controller

The time is now for a fantastic control scheme for Diablo IV, blending fast-paced gameplay with strategic resource management. Here's a quick breakdown of my controller setup that can turn any player into a dynamic force in the hellscape of Sanctuary:

Control Scheme Overview Xbox Controller

Right Trigger (Frozen Orb):
- Constantly hold down for ongoing damage.
- Frozen Orb will fire continuously while you do other moves. A comfortable rest position while mashing the other buttons.

X Button (Lightning Spear):
- Use this powerful skill constantly. Lightning Spear will seek out enemies and kill stuff rooms away.
- Keep track of its cooldown to maximize your damage output.

Left Trigger (Ice Shield):
- A crucial offense-defensive skill; keep activating it often to maintain your protection and your maximum damage output.
- So keep pulling the Left Trigger like you have a weird tick.

A Button (Flame Shield):
- A straightforward offense-defensive skill; always use it when it’s off cooldown to boost survivability and damage.
- Encourage quick reflexes to activate it at the right moment. When Ice Shield is up you can save Flame Shield for when Ice Shield is on cooldown.

Y Button (Teleport):
- Versatile escape tool; use strategically to evade attacks, traverse tricky areas, or reposition quickly in combat.
- Can also be used creatively to navigate through the environment. Leveraging your Teleport and Shields allows you to stay agile, making it harder for enemies to pin you down. Escape any stunlock. Even travel through walls.

Right Bumper (Ultimate Ability):
- Your big card! With a low cooldown, utilize this often for massive impact. The largest cooldown for this ability comes on a Mythic item.
- Plan its use for crowd control or high-priority targets to maximize effectiveness.

With this setup, a player can achieve a high frequency of skill usage, which translates to an exhilarating gaming experience. Embrace the chaos and enjoy creating havoc in Sanctuary.

The Build

There was nothing we could not kill with this build. This is the first time since release that we have been able to kill everything in the game. As always we did try a Necromancer build. Blood Surge. However, that build seems to peak very early and we could not become the ultimate killing machines that we always dream of. We could not get past Tier 40 Pits, but with our Sorcerer build we got all the way up to Tier 119 and probably could have gone higher. We also killed Uber Lilith for the first time. With her purple dropped shard used to craft a Mythic item, we made our first ever Uber Unique. It was the ‍Harlequin Crest. Then I got a lucky drop and received the chest piece, Tyrael's Might. Once I had those pieces I truly was unkillable.
